I stayed at this property over the weekend and it was a perfect stay! The owner was easy to communicate with. The cottage was very cozy and clean. We spent some time in the yard, which is very relaxing. It’s also a perfect location to walk to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again!

The house is in ideal location across from shops and harbor (not ocean) and behind owners house. But owner was not committed to high standards. One half roll of TP and PT, no ice making machine in freezer or ice trays, no bar of soap in bathroom, no pillow cases in master bedroom ( I took from 2 other children' beds) and stained sheets! although I had been told they were cleaned. AC was a joke with gaps on either side of the window acs in the bedroom and living room. The double bed is not comfortable. The property had dead branches lying-in piles, and bags of mulch ready for someone to install, garden tools left about. Sad. Someone did bring TP, PT and bar of soap late morning after I purchased my own as well as taped the kitchen window because it wouldn't close! Rain was expected and it was in the 90's outside. The last basement step to laundry is loose and so is the first step to the porch. Needs carpentry work, unsafe. The American Flag is too close to the entrance. Perhaps move to the other porch post as it shouldn't be touched as is protocol. Unfortunate situation.

What a find! Our three-night stay was easy, accomodating, well-situated and fun. The vibe of the house is breezy, relaxed, casual beach/nautical - light, bright, welcoming. The beds were comfortable and our dog (27lbs) thoroughly enjoyed the owner's dogs and the beautiful backyard spaces. We cooked - the kitchen had everything needed, and we practiced watercolor at the dining table. While AC units are provided, open screened windows welcomed fresh air. The living space is as familiar as our own. I'd stay here again without hesitation. Hot showers, clean and tidy rooms. Off-street parking was an excellent perk! Our host was engaging, friendly and non-intrusive, though happy to be available the one time I locked us out of the house. (Thank you, again!) This would be a perfect writer's hideaway, honeymoon nest or friends gathering place.
