My kids loved it

Property was exactly as described! Very clean, lots of space and well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the pool and fishing off the dock!

We love staying at this beautiful home! This was our second stay and it was wonderful, we enjoy the pool, the view of the canal, all the sounds of the wildlife and the overall comfort of this space! Im sure we will be back!

The property was very clean and had the needed amenities. The family enjoyed fishing off the pier. If the weather was warm enough, we would have enjoyed the pool. The property provided fishing poles and swim toys. The neighborhood was quiet and close to a general store and grocery store.

We had a wonderful time! The home was so welcoming and beautifully decorated. Everything was so comfortable and homey. Fishing was great right off the dock! Wonderful towns surrounding the home with a central location to parks and beaches! Would absolutely recommend and return!

We absolutely loved this house!! Ours kids loved to fish from the dock. They loved the pool too. It was to cold for us adults lol. Rebecca was great to work with. We had a couple of hiccups with the code for the door. But I just sent her a message and she got it taken care of. We will definitely book with her again in the future.

Very comfortable, everything we needed was available. Beds were great! Enjoyed fishing off the dock, a little to cool to use the pool, that’ll be for next time. Loved the area, peaceful and quiet.

Love this house! So clean with everything you need! The dock out back was fun for fishing and watching wildlife in the canal!

My friends and I went to Mount Dora to celebrate a birthday. This lovely house was sweet; so tastefully decorated and homey! We would have been happy to stay at the property all day because it was so comfortable…everything needed was there and the beds were clean and super comfy. The Dollar General at the end of the street came in handy for a couple of forgotten items. Oh, and Mary’s Country Kitchen next door to that had really good food too! We were very satisfied and would rent this surprise gem again. Thank you, Rebecca 😊

This property was just beautiful. The pics don't do it justice. Becky was wonderful to work with. My husband and I hosted my precious mama's remaining little brother and little sister here who hadn't seen each other in over five years. We had a great time. At Becky's recommendation, we ate at Mary's restaurant down the street..the food and service was outstanding. We ate at Cody's on 4th in Mt Dora (great food), did some shopping in this adorable little town too. We took a canal/lake tour with Rusty Boat Tours...loved it! It was a blessing to make memories with my family in Becky's charming lake house. As someone who is passionate about interior design and decorating, I so appreciated all of the little details Becky poured into this home; she's got a great eye. Clearly the owner cares a great deal about the property. Everything was clean, amenities were nice and we really enjoyed the location. Would definitely stay here again.

My little dog Clementine and I needed a break from the city and went to visit family near Mt Dora. We stayed in this adorable place on the canal which has a chorus of frogs singing beautifully every night. The dock is lovely . Pool is nice and accommodations are clean and well stocked with coffee and everything you would need.

My family had a great time, and found the house to be beautifully decorated and warm. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking, and very nice appliances. Rebecca was a wonderful host, and very accessible to answer questions, and my granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We would definitely go back.

First off this home was the best equipped we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at many vrbo homes. The hosts were very nice and responsive. The home has anything you could need for a great vacation. The dock on the canal was wonderful my (4 year) granddaughter caught bream everyday. We also caught bass and bowfin. Lots of fun for all. Really great place to stay.

Could not have been happier with the friendliness and timeliness of Rebecca even while she and spouse in Italy. Some small timing issues but everything resolved and place was great. Just one thing... my fishing skills still need some updating. Just two bites off the back dock in 4 days! Did see an otter however. :-)

The property was phenomenal in every aspect! From the home itself, the furniture, right down to the appliances! The pool was a refreshing treasure after being on the pontoon most of the day! Fishing off the newly completed dock late in the evenings was very relaxing! We could not have asked for better hosts!!

Rebecca was always responsive to messages and seemed to care about our experience. We loved the whimsical decor throughout. The pool was lovely and had lots of toys for the kids to play with. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location was great for exploring Mount Dora and only 45min to Disney.

Having small children I was a little worried about the pool area but all the access points had high locks that were out of reach for the littles. Everything was comfortable and there were many books and dress up clothes for the kids. Neighbors were pleasant and fun to talk with. There was a dollar store just down the street if we needed anything. The youngest child I have is 2 and okay with the stairs but that would be my only caution if you have a child younger. I forgot to check if there was a baby gate. This house was great for our family of 6 but would also be great for just a couple or two or even a girls weekend. I would definitely stay at this house again!

The seating in the living room, dining room, and around the pool allowed 8-10 adults to dine and visit together very easily. We'll definitely use this property again for future visits. One thing I think should be pointed out, there is a step/transition in several places on the main level. This can be concerning for folks with walkers, little ones, or just not remembering there is a step.

Our family traveled from Atlanta to Florida for a wedding celebration and decided on booking this house after reviewing all options in the area. If we could give this house more than 5 stars we would! It is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The moment we walked in after a very long drive, we felt at home. It had plenty of space but still felt cozy. The screened pool was a welcomed addition for our son and watching the birds on the canal was amazing. It is big enough to accommodate a large family but not overwhelming. Just a fantastic place to stay and worth the relaxing vibe and drive if you are visiting anywhere near Tavares. The owner was quick to respond with a few questions I had. The two bathrooms were great with walk in showers, beautifully renovated. Huge dining room for large dinners or playing any of the tons of games provided. If we had been there longer, we would have enjoyed the outdoor bar area and grilling out by the pool! Just too many touches and items to mention, but must say -- the beds are very comfortable too! We will be booking this gem again when visiting family in the area!
