Really well appointed condo right on the beach. Perfect for a relaxing vacation on the quiet side of the island.

The condo is located on the beach and we were able to snorkel right out front. Plenty of fish, turtles and even a stingray! The unit is well maintained and had everything we needed (although a couple more beach chairs would be nice since the unit sleeps more than two people). We appreciated the snorkel gear and tennis gear even though it was too windy to use the tennis courts. Laura was easy to communicate with and made suggestions for restaurants and grocery stores. Definitely eat at the Czexh In ( in Boddentown) and the Caboose (east end) if you have a car. Both had terrific fresh, local food and was more reasonably priced than the larger restaurants in the area. The only suggestion I would make is to leave instructions for the television. It was hard to tell if it had cable or just streaming with three remotes, one being Flow TV -which I had never heard of. ( Yeah, I don’t get out much! ) We did finally manage to figure it out once we confirmed with Laura that it does have cable and streaming ability. Highly recommend to stay here! This place had everything we needed and more. We loved the location on Rum Point. We will be back again, hopefully soon!

Perfect location for our island visit. The view of the patio is gorgeous! Laura was quick to respond prior to and during our visit. She had great recommendations for food and answered every question I had. We would definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay in this very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and well equipped condo. Interiors are bright and the views of the beach and ocean are wonderful! We liked the location on the second floor and the quiet side of the complex. We have stayed at the Retreat many times and this is our favorite of the smaller 2 BR units. The owner communicated quickly and arranged immediately to have a small plumbing problem addressed (even though it was the week-end). There were adequate paper products and soaps for our week’s stay which was a nice extra! The only thing we missed was not having a dining table/chairs on the screened porch. But the views from the inside dining area were very nice and I’m sure some likely prefer cushioned seating on the porch to dining chairs and there isn’t room for both. We would definitely rent this unit again!

The unit was better in person. It was very clean and the view was spectacular. We felt right at home. We were able to walk right out our door to the beach in less than two minutes. We saw a turtle by the pier and many other fish at the reef. The place was super quiet and we were the only ones at the beach most of the time. Even better was the host LJ. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. She is responsive, helpful and kind. She provided feedback to my many questions. I would stay here again in an instant. I certainly hope to be back. We had a car which helped because I loved being able to spend time at SMB side.

The condo was great and all replies from the owner were prompt! The location right on the beach at Rum point was awesome! The condo was well stocked already with things like salt/pepper, a whole cabinet of different seasonings, about 3 years' worth of coffee filters, ketchup/mustard, sun block, and even some bottles of alcohol from the previous people. The screened in back porch was the perfect spot for coffee with the view and listening to the sound of the waves. The only negatives for us were maybe the size of the TVs and a bad dryer hose to where we couldn't use the dryer, but honestly, you don't come to Grand Cayman to sit in the condo watching TV, and with the hutch they have, they are limited in the size they can use. One big bonus for us was the privacy. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the condo with their own bathrooms as well as another half bath by the front door. There are two restaurants just next door within easy walking distance. One at the resort next to it on one side and the other on the other side in front of the Rum Point dock. We lucked out on timing (Last week of Sept.) and there were maybe only 3 other condos being rented at this time, so it was extremely quiet. The beach was nice and had lounge chairs just for the guests. I do wish they had some umbrellas but that is not the condo owner's doing. Overall, we would definitely stay again and had a great time!

Great location, fully equipped kitchen and lots of beach gear. Very clean and comfortable stay. The view cannot be beat.

My wife, toddler, friend and I stayed here for a few days in May and it was a wonderful experience. My wife and I have stayed at 3 other condos at the Retreat and this was our favorite of the group. Very clean and functional with amazing views from the primary and living rooms. The Retreat continues to be a hidden gem we love to stay, and we will definitely come back to this condo in the future.

Loved the location, couldnt be better. Unit had a great view, was very well equipped. Some of the pans could use replacing. Very comfortable. One thing, the A/C unit was very loud! Had to close the bedroom door closest because it would wake you up. Otherwise a very pleasant stay!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Retreat at Rum point! The condo was in a great location, clean and met our needs perfectly. Communication, check in and out was seamless. We wish we could have stayed longer, and would go there again. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a great time in Cayman! It was our first visit to the island, and we will definitely be back. The property was well stocked and comfortable. It was conveniently located for many of the excursions we planned, but the drive to the other side of the island was pretty easy as well. We found the island very safe and lovely, and everyone we met was hospitable. The restaurants we tried were all incredible as well!

The condo was right on the beach and had great views from the porch and windows. We loved being on the beautiful beach at Rum Point. The condo had plenty of paper supplies and the kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We have stayed at The Retreat several times and this has been our favorite unit so far. Management was very responsive to any hiccups and property was exactly as pictured. Rum point club was partially reopened for lunch and drinks so that was also nice.

This rental is a total gem and I don’t think the pictures do it justice. It was impeccably clean and extremely well-stocked, including both beach and kitchen supplies. It feels spacious and modern while still having an “at-the-beach” vibe. The ocean view from the screened in porch was great and we spent more time than expected there. The walk to the beach was very short and convenient. The condo has lots of beach supplies and the snorkeling off the beach is exceptional. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen (including both cooking utensils and some basic ingredients) as well as the bottles of rum to pour a welcome drink. The only downer right now is that Rum Point is temporarily closed. You can still access the beach but the restaurant/bars are not open. However this does make it a very quiet and relaxing place to be! Highly recommend this condo and I think we will be back!

Our family and friends really enjoyed staying at the Retreat. Location is awesome! Quick easy walk to the beach or pool. Amazing crystal clear waters. Great spot for young kids to play in the water and not worry about being taken out to sea. Very calm. Winds did kick up toward the end of our week, but we loved going to Starfish point to swim there! Condo was clean, spacious and we had an easy check in. Fully stocked with everything you could need. Looking forward to visiting once Rum Point is back up and running! Can’t wait to relax w a tropical cocktail and listen to music!
