Great views and great condo!

The property was clean and condo unit had the accommodations and room for our family of four. The location was just far enough from the busy commercial areas but a close enough drive for local restaurants. The building, pools, hot tubs and other amenities were well maintained and cleaned.

This condo was perfect for our trip to Galveston. Access to the beach, beautiful views and totally relaxing!! The location was just outside of the action which was perfect for us to decide what we wanted to do. If you are considering a trip to Galveston- this is a great place to stay

All and more than i expected

Overall condo was clean and the beach decor throughout was very cool. Big balcony overlooking gorgeous pool. The amenities were above and beyond. Very impressed with their safety measures. Area around units are in a safe part of Galveston. There were a few minor issues like several bulbs needing replacement…but hey.. no place is perfect. Walmart & Kroger are close by. “Nest” A/C-Heat control was confusing and I never fully understood it.

The view was amazing--absolutely wonderful. The condo overall was nice and very functional. A few suggestions: please provide better hand soap (the bar you provide is as big as a quarter). No one looked at the dishes--several were dirty (found in the cupboards). Bath mats (or at least a towel for the floor) would have been nice along with extra towels in general.

Nice place. Great for weekend getaway.

The property was beautiful and clean. The condo was everything expected from the listing and more. We will be staying here anytime we visit Galveston.

One of the prettiest buildings along the sea shore. Easy access to the beach.Condo was beautiful inside and out. Loved the ammeneties Kids loved the pools and imense lazy river.I loved having direct ocean view for beautiful pictures.

WE were very pleased with the property - it was well-maintained for the most part and the pics reflected the actual unit quite well. Our problem was that the refrigerator was out and with a 3 yo in tow, we really needed a refrigerator!! They had placed a very small mini unit in the condo, but did not tell us until the day before check in, and refused to move us to another unit or to lease a refrigerator for our stay. This caused a lot of related issues for us, from ice to begin able to have meals in, a reason that we chose this condo over a hotel. I don't think that we would trust them again.

Like the Diamond Beach Resort

Overall, it was a wonderful 9 days. Beautiful pools, easy access to the beach. Things to know: The kids' slide isn't in operation and hasn't been for many years according to staff. There are no open restaurants on site nor was the pool bar ever open during my stay. The kid's club is nothing more than a very adorable room with toys in it designed for very young children. Movie theatre GREAT, needs to be reserved in advance and even then, the other guests just make themselves at home as it's not really posted anywhere, which isn't a big deal, just surprising. The amenities in the room were sparce, we had to buy toilet paper, laundry soap, and dishwasher soap. I fully expected to purchase groceries, spices, coffee etc. Toilet paper caught me by surprise, the dishwasher soap c'mon! maybe laundry is asking too much but very few bath towels (no soap remember), and explicit instructions not to take bath towels to the pool or the beach. My family flew in from three different states, stopped at the grocery on our way from the airport and ended up going back to the store for items that are typically supplied. I would not have paid what I paid had I known there were so many amenities not up and running on the property I selected specifically for those amenities. I probably wouldn't have selected the property at any price had I known. The pools were really nice, big, beautiful, well maintained and not overcrowded and that's how we spent everyday. The condo was very comfy! Beds GREAT!

Staying at Diamond Beach Resort is the best spot in Galveston. So many amenities: from the different pool areas to the lazy river to the game room. Such a good gulf view as well. Very safe environment. But the condo unit we rented was not very clean: Washing machine was moldy smelling around door seal Patio furniture nasty with bird poop, mold, cigarette burn marks Patio glass door full of prints or something Coffee pot really dirty Fridge actually got hot before cooling off our food Fridge motor constantly clicking on & off very loudly Oven only cooks on one half Several lights burnt in master, first guest room, under microwave We did call company & someone called back within an hour but nothing to do with frige.....it eventually started cooling but motor really loud

Overall the property is a bit run down but it’s nice for Galveston. The details say water slide but does not work. Also says direct beach access but the access is a very narrow path that is a bit hard to find. The pool is nice but there was only one day it was clean the other days it had lots of dirt and tree drippings. It says has a theatre which it does but be prepared to enter your streaming credentials to watch a movie. Our room was nice and clean. However, we had two lights out in each bathroom and bulbs out in one of the guest rooms. It was a pain to even get someone out and even then only one bathroom bulb was replaced. The maintenance guy said the bulbs have been replaced within the last year and feels something else is wrong. TBH, I don’t care replace the dang bulbs and then work on whatever problem when we check out. The refrigerator had a beeping noise and the master bedroom fan made a loud scratching sound when turned on. The balcony door does not easily open and the cushions on the patio are so nasty you will not want to use the patio furniture. The condo itself needs repairs and some updating to the patio furniture cushions. This condo is not at all worth the price. I have paid less for a lot better quality.

The condo complex was amazing and clean. A lot of places close to the beach can smell of mold this was not the case. Beautiful and clean. Only thing I would suggest is liquid soap to hand wash dishes. There was none for us to clean our dishes unless we used the dishwasher tab that was needed for the check out process. Other than that it was perfect.

We came down for spring break. Weather wasn't the greatest but we had a good time.

We have stayed at Diamond Beach before and love the property. This particular unit was beautiful. Very clean, lots of room for our family, and had a beautiful view of the water. We enjoyed our stay!

Could provide toiletries such as body/shower gel. Could provide more trash liners and box tissue.

Our condo was beautiful. The balcony overlooking the pool and Gulf was wonderful. Enjoyed all of the amenities within the complex.

Lovely, cheery, comfortable place - one problem we checked in at 6:30 on Friday and neither toilet worked. Thank goodness the front desk guy helped!! (He wasn't supposed to.) He was able to get one working. Took about 30 minutes to an hour before to get hold of property manager which isn't bad for Friday evening. Property manager got someone there by 9 am the next morning. (One toilet was totally turned off and would have over flowed if it hadn't been as it needed a new interior kit.) And all was great. I think this is strictly a rental so the owners do seem to go - which is fine but means it may have a few issues. I will go back - but I will ask for early check-in or assurance that someone has inspected and knows everything is working. It is reasonably priced but it seems like the management company has some kinks to work out or maybe owners should consider a different company to oversee? Read other reviews - this isn't the first issue. Diamond Beach Condo property is amazing and well situated!! Note - parking is open-air not in the garage which was fine for us.

May I suggest checking Main TV to stop the picture going out. Kind of convoluted to turn it on also. Maybe add some rugs in key places....all stone floor is cold.

This condo is clean and the beds were wonderfully comfortable--thank you! A couple of things that would have made our stay better: *PLEASE supply larger, stronger kitchen garbage bags! Two LOW Quality bags is not enough when you have 5 people staying there using the kitchen for 3 meals a day. *We felt we were in a fight with someone who kept controlling the temperature from afar. We would set the temperature for comfort--68 degrees as per directions in the condo and all of a sudden the unit would show a higher degree setting. We had 5 people and were cooking Thanksgiving dinner. This was very frustrating. ***Most frustrating , however, was dealing with Sean from Connect Coastal. For our second payment, our credit card was overcharged and I notified Sean On Novermber 9th (Sean is both the customer service representative AND THE OWNER). He continued to forget to rectify the mistake and made me contact him several times. Today is November 27th and still no refund for the overcharge. I filed dispute with Capital One today for the overcharge. DO NOT USE CONNECT COASTAL FOR ANY OF YOUR RENTALS!!

Great place, had everything

The location, pool, and condo were great! The boys also loved the game room. I wish the resort pool bar would have been open but the rental couldn’t control that. This rental was excellent!

We enjoyed the lazy river, swim up bar, pool, hot tub so much!!! The condo had a great view. Beds were comfortable, AC worked great. Overall it was great. We can’t wait to return

We had a great time. Condo had everything we needed to prepare meals. The property has direct beach access and the pools are great for kids!

The property is gorgeous! Well kept and maintained grounds. I feel like my searches did not turn up near enough info based on why is actually available etc. Tubes for the lazy river are provided for free to tenants. The condo we stayed in was very nice but I will say one of the previous reviews stated the handle to the sliding glass door was broken-well that was from months ago and it was still not repaired for our stay. Also several light bulbs were out and these were bulbs we could not get to due to height or we would have just changed them ourselves. Finally the balcony was not cleaned before our arrival. There were beer cans, paper plates and a paper towel roll left out there. So my negative is that the property management company should do a better job of preparing for the next tenants. Other than that the place is amazing!

Great experience. Great amenities and perfect for little ones. The condo itself had some flaws- door handle to outside porch was completely broken and hanging by a nail and the curtain rod above porch was a safety hazard with one bracket completely detached from wall.

Great place to stay. Clean and super close to the beach. Loved the lazy river.
