The cabin was beautiful, so well decorated and well stocked. Large deck looking out on the water. Beds are comfortable. Great location to meet a large variety of interests in activities. The place is located in a resort so be prepared to have multiple neighbors. On a beautiful lake and found it to be a quiet, scenic location overall. I would come back again.

We arrived to find a beautiful cabin that was meticulously clean and had a great view of the lake. It was nice to find quality dishes and cookware, comfy beds and linens. We had no problems, but Kevin was always available to answer questions. My only suggestion is that the pontoon's upholstery be replaced. Lakefront cabin that lives like a house with many of the creature comforts of home. Comfortable living right next to the water!

This was the first time renting this property and we plan to book it again for next year! Everything you need is there just waiting for you. We highly recommend spending your vacation here!

They property was very nice. The owner’s take care of the inside very well. Very well equipped with everything you need. The outside needs a little work 3 grills on deck not sure why, picnic table didn’t like and chairs not in great condition. Screen door need to be fixed the screen was damaged when we got there. We would definitely stay there again

We truly enjoyed our stay at Lake Nelson. The house was beautiful and was stocked with anything and everything that you could possible need. We enjoyed our days at the sunken beach not far from our pier. The kids caught fish after fish. We also enjoyed our time at the three other resorts on the lake that had game rooms and food. The owners were great to work with. The kids and I kayaked daily. Highly recommend this place for your next family vacation.

Loved our stay!

Our stay was all that we expected and more. The owners were very accomodating. This cabin is well equipped and a perfect getaway.

We loved our recent stay at this cabin on Nelson Lake. The open set up with wide counter/bar made prepping meals easy. We loved the cozy feel with the fireplace, living room and kitchen all together. We enjoyed day trips to Porcupine Lake Wilderness, Cable recreational trails, Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and local recreational trails. Great location for a winter getaway!

Place was clean and well decorated. Great location on the lake. Owners super nice people. Great snowmobile trails in the area. Need to come back and try in the summer.

Perfect cabin for hanging out as a group in the great room! Lake view is amazing

The cabin itself is gorgeous, all wood and super cozy. Arrived and everything was clean, which was important to us due to COVID. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with every cooking pot, pan, and accessory you could want! And I mean EVERYTHING. We made every meal here during our week stay and we’re never caught off guard hunting for a spatula or vegetable peeler or anything else. And they even had little poop bags and a headlamp by the door for emergency trips outside with our dog. Morning views of the lake were perfect, and the area is incredibly quiet. Would recommend highly to anyone looking to getaway with their dog for a quiet escape.

The lake home and Nelson Lake were beautiful. Our family made a week of great memories. Fishing, kayaking, pontooning and swimming in the lake. Able to relax by the fire at night, able to bring our dogs. Inside of home was big enough for all 7 of us, loved the central air and big kitchen. We were very pleased. Thank you Jacki and Mike.

Really enjoyed the windows facing the lake. Loved seeing the sun shine off the lake in the AM. Very comfortable beds. Liked the large yard.

Beautiful property. Beds very comfortable. Owners thought of everything you might need or use. All items excellent quality. Nice to have a large yard for playing games and our grand dog to explore. Water very hard and rusty but that is the area, we were informed by the neighbors. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Hello, We enjoyed our stay but have a few recommendations: We rented pontoon and had to call to find out where it was, the door wasn't working properly and said it would be full of gas and we just had to fill again when done. It was half full so only filled back to half full. Finding the pontoon was a hunt but found it. Cleaning of cabin. When we moved in there were empty and partially filled Mountain Dew bottles under the bed along with solo cups, a hat and slippers. Would have liked to have access to a vacuum or broom even to sweep up. No laundry was a slight problem but went to town to do laundry. Just helpful to have it onsite is all. Bathroom - Very rusty water and had a very heavy iron smell to it. Chairs - Told at last minute to bring our own chairs for the deck. No anchor for the pontoon - had to reach out to owner to find one. Overall, thank you. It was a beautiful location, weather was great. We had a good time. Above is something that can be addressed for future renters.

Wonderful location, and house. We were up for a work trip but staying in this cozy house made it feel more like a vacation!

We had an active yet relaxing time skiing in the north woods and returning to the cozy yet spacious cabin to cook, laugh and rest. Serene winter get away 20 minutes to OO Birkie chalet! Kids loved the loft, adults had their own space and we all could hang out in the kitchen and great room. Great place!

This was a perfect location for us and another family. We were in Hayward for the Chequamegon mountain bike race and the accommodations were ideal for the race location. The sleeping arrangements were also perfect for 2 families. It was very clean, homey and welcoming. Communication with the owner was timely and easy. We all enjoyed the games and puzzles they had on hand!

Our family stayed during the week of July 19 - 26 and we had a WONDERFUL time! The cabin was beautiful, the weather was beautiful, the lake was refreshing. The cabin itself had everything you could possibly need and more. Boredom was not an option. Everyone, including myself even commented on how comfortable all the beds were. (more comfortable than my own...lol ) And although this privately owned cabin is located on a resort, it was really quiet the entire week... and the resort owners welcomed us to use the beach. Which the kids did and loved. This was our 3rd year renting a cabin using VRBO, and this one was so far definitely our favorite. Mike was super responsive to any questions we had. Thank you to both Mike and Jackie for sharing your cabin with us. We're on a mission to do a different location every year, otherwise, we would DEFinitely consider this one again.
