True to its name, a boutique stay in a very typically Greek corner of the Mani peninsula. For drivers (which is 100% necessary) this offered an amazing launchpad to go both north and south of the peninsula, offering a great relaxing vibe for moments away from exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and available to offer advise, also providing breakfast with a smile.

Just be aware you need a car should you want to go here. For those also fearful of driving abroad, the drive up to the village may be enough to make you reconsider as it was quite the scare going up a cliff side at night. This said, if you are fine with driving in Greece, you will be fine. Note however that the roads around Mani are mostly like this anyway. Hotel itself, we had a few bugs in the room - would be nice to not have to deal with them, however I’m conscious this is very typical in Greek stays.

Beautiful, unique hotel in the middle of a very special part of Greece. The rooms are amazing - showcasing both modern touches with old, historic stonework. The local town is quiet, calming, and rich with history. The lovely staff were so inviting and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious!

Very nice and welcoming staff. Breakfast (which was served in another building complex) was good and had everything you need to start the day. Everything was clean.

The specific room we were placed in was right next to the reception which led to some noice during the day, but that was not too disturbing during the evening/night. While the room size on paper was as advertised, our room felt particularly small due to its arch ceiling. The room was unfortunately also very dark. There is no separate window and the patio doors lead to a (public) courtyard. There are no curtains which meant we needed to keep the outside shutter doors closed to have privacy which did not help the lack of light in the room. Notably, the patio doors were not equipped with mosquito nets so it is impossible to keep the doors open without inviting the many insects present in the (beautiful) mountain village into the room. At night, it was thus necessary to keep the doors closed and leave the air condition switched on (which is not something we like at all but that may be a personal preference). The room also felt quite damp, especially after taking a shower as the ventilation in the bathroom was not strong enough and the humidity spread to the adjacent small room (and as said, it was not possible to open the window for longer). Considering the humid condition in the bathroom, we found it particularly unfortunate that the towels were not changed during room service. The hotel has potential but I would not book our specific room again (in particular not for the asking price).

Calm, charming location. The staff at the breakfast lounge was hyper nice and dedicated.

The reservation was for 3 people, but there were only 2 coffee mugs and 2 sets of shampoo, etc. The extra bed was quite hard.
