We had a great time. The property was exactly as advertised and very well appointed and cozy. The location was very good as well. Everything was within walking distance. I would stay there again.

Great place right on the Main Street through town. Walking distance to waterfront, restaurants and shops. Very clean, will definitely stay at the Blue Grotto again!

The Blue Grotto was even nicer looking in person. Very rich details and so clean and welcoming. Excellent location right on the main street with the shops, food and straight down to the dock. Would definitely stay again.

Great rental!

Located on the main drag of Bay Field and within walking distance to everything. Extremely clean with a large kitchen and living space. Perfect for 3 of us, but would fit a family of 4 with the pullout bed and large couch. We spent many hours in the evening sitting on the back deck looking at the lake. We will be back!

This was a beautiful vacation rental! It has everything you could possibly need. And i cant say enough how comfortable is was, and the beautiful decor. So pleased, and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again!

The apartment is on a second floor walk up and is beautifully decorated, is clean, comfortable and close to everything. I would definitely stay here again. Khou and Pao are excellent hosts, and communicate very well regarding expectations and are available for questions. You can see the lake from the back porch, and the area is very walkable.

The Blue Grotto is the perfect setting for sightseeing on foot. Market right across the street, ferry less than 5 min. walk and Apostle Cruise about 2 min. walk. Shops, pub, deli or restaurants, museum, marina and a few fish markets with fresh or delicious smoked fish within 5 min. The accommodations are very comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The owners definitely have an eye for detail, design and quality materials. You are close to everything, but it was very quiet, secluded and felt safe. Our car was parked right below our bedroom window. Nice back deck with a partial, but good view of the big lake. I have already recommended this to friends and family that plan to tour the area.

The accommodations were perfect we had great communication with the owners. Our place was very close to shops, restaurants ferry boats. Within walking distance of Lake Superior. I only wish the view from the deck was a little better. Overall, a great place to stay!

Immaculate well-appointed, cozy, quiet, luxury apartment. Ideally located in the center Bayfield. Walkable to dining, shopping and excursions. Convenient access to highways for day trips to surrounding areas. Hosts are very quick to respond to any questions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will plan to book again next time we are in Bayfield!

Honestly could not have asked for a more perfect stay at the Blue Grotto! Everything was amazingly clean and beautifully furnished, check in/out was very easy, and the location was perfect for enjoying the cute town and walking to the marina. We stayed on our honeymoon, and the hosts were absolutely fantastic and went out of their way to make our time there special! So grateful to have been able to stay, and wouldn't even consider anywhere else if back in the area!

Place was very nice and clean, convenient murphy bed, nice details. easy to access. good location. not super kid friendly but we made it work with two littles with no problems and would stay here again!

Didn’t look like much from the outside, but beautiful inside.

This property has been beautifully renovated with wonderful attention to detail. From the stunning ceilings, quality furniture and solid wood doors and chair rail, it was beautiful. The view of the bay was nicer than I expected and I personally enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching the activity in the alley below. It was also right in the middle of town making it a short walk to shops, COFFEE, and restaurants. The owners were responsive to requests and kindly adjusted my reservation when I realized that I needed to shorten my stay. We have family in Bayfield and will plan to utilize this facility next time we visit.

Very clean with plenty of space inside to relax after hiking or boating. It is exactly as the pictures show and more. Great kitchen and bar area with plenty of counter space. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

This is an immaculately cared for and well equipped property in the heart of Bayfield. Despite the downtown location it was very quiet and peaceful.

If we could give this property and the host(s) 10 stars, we certainly would! What a slice of paradise and comfort in a small northern town. The apartment is impeccably designed with every detail thought of. The bedding, towels, décor and kitchen were top of the line. It is a short walk from everything in Bayfield - and across the street from an ice cream shop and two blocks to the water. We would love to stay here again. It was lovely! The info packet is detailed and helpful in pointing out the highlights of the town as well.

Very nice place, in the heart of Bayfield. Apartment is in quiet location -- at least didn't hear any outside noise. The entrance has pretty flowers growing around it. This is not an apratment with a view. The view from deck/living room windows is not so great (wires, building, parking lot, a little of the water in the distance). Very clean and everything works well. Shower had good pressure. Refrigerator and stove worked perfectly. Pots and pans were helpful for cooking meals. Master bed was way too hard, but might be resolved with a mattress topper. The kids handled the trundle/murphy bed in the living room quite easily. The A/C units (inverters) in the main area were and bedroom worked great, were quiet, and kept the unit cool when outside was in the 90s. The ceiling fans were also a nice add. Owners were responsive to questions (within seconds of emails, it seemed).

The photos are accurate to the listing, except that it's WAY more impressive in person. The details are exquisite and this rental is so luxurious!! The location is perfect - walking distance to the main drag of shopping, only a block from Manypenny Bistro (delicious!) and a couple blocks from the ferry. The hosts checked in to make sure we had what we needed and that everything was all going well. I would book this one again in a heartbeat!!
