The house and the amenities are exactly as described in the vrbo listing. We had 5 adults and a toddler on the trip, and we had more than enough room. We grilled out most evenings and spent time on the porch. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook or grill. There is a great ice cream shop and park within walking distance of the home. St. Joe and South Haven are easy drives. Shannon made it easy to have a "beach day" with all the extra chairs, towels, and toys she kindly shares. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks, Shannon, for sharing your home!

Our group of 8 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coloma Cottage. The house was perfect for us! It was so beautifully decorated and had some lovely additions for Christmas. The house felt so cozy and comfortable. The owner was amazingly thoughtful and accomodating for all of our needs. We have already discussed staying here again when we return.

We had a wonderful time at the Coloma Cottage. The house was just like the pictures, but it was even better in person. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out. Everything was very clean and comfortable and all of the little details were well thought out. They truly had everything you could need. We especially appreciated all of the beach gear in the garage. The location allows for easy access to both South Haven and St Joseph, each about a 20 minute drive. Communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Coloma cottage was a great place to stay. Everything you could possibly need was provided and was centrally located to beaches, shopping, and restaurants.

This home is a gem. With two lounging areas, it has plenty of space for a larger group. The house truly has everything you could need and is impeccably decorated. We enjoyed having restaurants in walking distance and easy access to the wineries and beaches. The host is very responsive. Checkin was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again.

The pictures don't lie! This home is beautiful, clean and incredibly stocked with everything you could possibly need! It is by far, the best short-termed rental we have EVER stayed in! My wife and I were looking for a property to rent near the St. Joseph area, and we decided on this house. A great choice! The house itself was extremely clean and was perfect for our family. We had our 3 year old daughter with us, and at the last moment, decided to bring my 72 year old mom with us since she also loves the area. The house worked out great for the 4 of us. There was a master bedroom on the main floor that had an attached bathroom. This worked out great for my mom, since she has trouble climbing stairs. The upstairs worked out great for us also. There was another main bedroom and bathroom, and also a bedroom with 4 twin beds. Our daughter loved that room and was excited to see all the beds in one room. She was so excited to sleep there! As well as being very clean, the house was also very well stocked! There was just about everything you could want when staying somewhere. The kitchen had all kinds of cups, dishes and utensils, there was even coffee pods to use in the coffee maker - a DEFINITE plus! The bathrooms also had many items you might need, hairdryers, etc. There were also many other kinds of supplies throughout the house that you might find you need on a trip. We were very happy with how accommodating the house was. The location was also great, with restaurants and beaches near by. The drive to St. Joseph was around 15 minutes, which was great for us. Communication with the owner was great! I had to message her a few times before our trip regarding certain things, and she responded within minutes and was extremely helpful. And when arriving at the property, we found a welcome bag left for us on the counter, with ingredients to make s'mores. It was very thoughtful! There have been some properties we've rented where we never heard from the owner throughout the entire process. This was not that case here! We were very please with how smoothly everything went and how thoughtful the owners were. This was such a great property, and if you're looking to stay in the area, we highly recommend checking this house out. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely keep this place in mind. We had such a great time there, and everyone enjoyed their stay!

What a beautiful, thoughtful home. The owners really take pride in their home and value their guests. It’s apparent in all of the things they thought of-from the beach accessories, well stocked kitchen, to the beautiful decor! The home is located near the library which I recommend if you have small kids. Ours had a great time playing in the kids area one rainy day! We found a quiet beach nearby, but also took advantage of the beach at South Haven and St. Joseph, which both have splash pads and playgrounds. We caught a movie at the theatre which is walking distance from the home. You can easily walk to dinner, or create your own meal as the house has everything you could need!

This house was perfect for my family of five: two parents, two kids, and a grandparent. It was spacious, accommodating, and in a location that was quiet and classic America. We enjoyed not being around the hustle and bustle of Saint Joseph, Benton Harbor, and South Haven; driving to the beaches at these locations was easy and quick. The Owner of the property was quick with replies to messages and also provided many comforts in the home that you absolutely would not get by staying in a hotel. Do not overlook this property because it is absolutely wonderful.

We had a wonderful four days at Shannon's Coloma Cottage! The cottage is spacious, super clean, all updated, and everything you can imagine has been provided to make the stay relaxing and worry-free. Shannon is very accommodating, keeps in communication, and made the process super easy. The Cottage is right around the corner from a cute small downtown. Nice restaurants, ice cream shops, bakery, and even a movie theatre that we enjoyed a show at. Stores are nearby for any food or supplies needed. The Cottage was a great place to relax after a day enjoying all of the activities and sights of the area. Short drive to South Haven, St. Joseph, Lake Miichigan, wineries, etc. I highly recommend staying here if your are vacationing in the area. I will be back!
