These amazing cabins built by the owner from timber from their own property are amazing. The thought that has gone into every detail has made these cabins one of the best places that we have stayed.

loved the location and serenity. the cottage was soo quaint and cosy

I don’t think the linen was cleaned from previous guests. I found mouse poo, dirt marks and body hair on my sheets. also the single bed had head hair. also all the glassware and utensils had to be washed to before used. not that it was a huge issue but think need to state there is no wifi/internet reception up there. I was unable to do some online book work that needed doing and think it would be an amazing spot to get away to say write a book or something but would need reception.

We were very glad we chose this accommodation. The cottage was a wonderful and tasteful application of Tasmanian timber put to fantastic use. It was quiet, secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of Penguin.

Nothing

The cottage is beautifully furnished and modern with creative wooden shelves and finishings. The beds were super comfortable and the room cleverly arranged. The location is superb: close to Penguin but nestled in a quiet valley. When we woke up the birdsong from the natural forest surrounding the farm waa exquisite,, and two adorable ponies grazing in the field just outside the front porch. We could not see or hear our neighbours so we felt like the only ones there.

The mountain view hut was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean with everything fresh, and bright with views of the mountain, with friendly horses, cows and a couple of bulls. There's a bbq, so we had a great dinner and a fantastic breakfast. Best idea as it doesn't fill the hut with cook odours, we sat until the sun was down and watched it come over the mountain. Our favourite place. Will will be staying again but will be 3 or 4 nights. If you read this then do yourself a favour and stay min of 2 nights. Or more you will love it. Hayden and Patricia

Not staying 3 days, and we wish we had arrived earlier. Not arriving at 3 and enjoying the most of it.
