My kids were 20 & 23 who stayed with me. We all LOVED the property and the location. It was beautiful and peaceful, which is just what we wanted. As soon as we wanted to go find fun and great food, we could turn either direction out of the driveway, and be somewhere in very little time. We would definitely stay here again. Roberto was a great host too. He answered questions before and during the trip.

This home is ALL about the outdoors! The dock, the views, the wildlife, the sunrises AND sunsets...so much! It was a beautiful time spent with family. We saw SO much wildlife every single day. Who needs a pool when we jumped right in off the dock to swim in the most amazing natural "pool" possible. :). The home pool was nice and the view from there was incredible.
The layout inside and the grilling set up was not ideal for the home but we made it work and this didn't take away from enjoying our vacation. The home could use some updates and it would be that much more amazing.
We did have to reach out to Bert a few times with some questions prior to and after arriving and he was always super quick to respond and always had answers.

We had an amazing stay! It was just the two of us adults so place was waaaaay big and would be perfect for a large group. Loved the privacy of the spot, game room was perfect, and kitchen was well equipped for those that want to cook but also close to several restaurant options if you want to dine out. Some kayaks would’ve been a great addition to the place but nonetheless a truly amazing place and well worth the price!

The location, the house, the property! Second to none! We enjoyed our stay for a birthday celebration! You literally could stay at the property and have plenty to do without leaving. The location provides simple access to nearby stores. It has every added touch from the dock to the 3rd floor game room. Very spacious! The house was immaculate with amenities galore! We definitely will book again for our next big gathering!

This house supersedes all of your expectations. Absolutely amazing,spectacular. Pictures and descriptions are on point. But even more incredible in person. My 6 grandkids enjoyed everything fishing off the dock, swimming snorkeling under the dock. Seeing turtles, nurse, sharks, stingrays , paddle boarding and more. Upper deck pool is so amazing to be able to look out at that incredible view and get the breeze. Anything you need is in the house. Burt the host is top notch. There was no issues with the house but with check in and check out for any suggestions he was on point right away. The location is about an hour and 25 minutes to Key West. We did other excursions in the area seaplane ride flying out to the Tortugas,nite kayaking with LED lights in Marathon but you really don’t even have to leave this majestic place. I give it 5+ ⭐️ And would definitely highly recommend this to anybody or will return.

Watching the sun set every evening while sitting at the end of a private dock was unforgettable. We fished, snorkeled, cooked, slept in and had a great time. There were only five in our group. The house can easily accommodate many more.

Great spot in the Middle Keys. House is exactly as it appears in listing. The rental team is great to work with. Our family particularly enjoyed the pool and the incredible views.

This home is awesome. We were two families. Cousins. We had space for all to be together and enough areas for one-on-one bonding. The outside areas are just as accommodating: the dock and the Adirondack chairs area. The house is extremely well equipped. We lacked nothing. Our host Bert was informative and available. I highly recommend this property. We will return.

The property was perfect for a family vacation. It is centrally located, so you’re within driving distance of almost everything there is to do and eat. From the dock alone we saw turtles, manatees, sharks, dolphins, rays, lobsters, crabs and so many different fish. We ate meals out, but we definitely enjoyed cooking and eating at the house, as well. I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10. The company was so easy to work with, and was even super helpful when a favorite stuffed animal was left behind. This is the place to stay for your keys vacay!

Our family ranging in age from 27-82 came together for 4 days of relaxing and reconnecting. We had a wonderful time and the location is great. We visited Key West 1 day (which is plenty). We enjoyed most meals at the house & the well stocked kitchen was appreciated. Enjoying the beautiful sunsets from the dock, lobster hunting & relaxing in the pool were family highlights!

The views at this home are beautiful. My kids loved the dock. We saw dolphins, turtle, mantaray and fish. The house was spacious, the AC was cold, and it was super clean.

We were a family of 8 ranging in age from not quite 3 to 65. The home had plenty of room for all of us. The pool and hot tub were used several times. We loved hanging out on the beach in the backyard. From the dock we witnessed wonderful sunsets, dolphins playing, nurse sharks,rays, lobsters, and lots of other fish.We would highly recommend this property for a group.

It was super clean and comfortable. It was my mom and dad, brother, my spouse and my 4 and 5 yr olds. The property is beautiful and spacious. we felt home while on holiday. They were also very professional and nice. Well be back.

We enjoyed our stay at the home very clean, beautiful place to rest and relax. And obviously go fishing. The best part was the home and the pier or dock. Every night we enjoyed our sunsets on the dock looking out and doing a little pier fishing and relaxing. I would recommend for anyone for a great place to stay.

The Buchanan Layton house was absolutely amazing! The mid-Keys location is great and the view straight out the back windows is stunning! Bert was great to work with and communicated clearly and concisely. You don't even need to leave the property for great snorkeling as the end of the private dock has lionfish, mangrove snapper, parrotfish, pufferfish, lobsters, crab, and many more. House was clean and well maintained and the pictures are what you get!

The house was a real gem beating our expectations. Moreover the dock was exceptional with fantastic Florida sunsets. We spotted a small nurse shark sleeping at the base. My only hesitation about posting a positive review is that our family plans on vacationing in this home annually. I do not want availability to become a problem. The property management was first rate and it was clear that they are reinvesting in the property to maintain the quality.

The whole house is beautiful, and very clean!!
The master suite is beautiful and big!! With Amazing views of the ocean and pool. The pool is right out of the master suite doors and was the perfect size for us, and the hot tub was very nice also!!
The third floor/game room is very nice and fun with the pool table and games!
We snorkeled off the dock and saw fish, lobsters, conk, and even had a manatee with pup, swim right by the end of the dock!
All in All, this was probably the favorite of places we’ve ever been and definitely the most relaxing!!!

This property did not disappoint. Even better than expected. We had excellent and almost instantaneous communication with our host. We enjoyed the location, space, water, dock, snorkeling, fishing, sea life spotting, the pool, sunrise and sunset and all the views…I could go on and on. We also rented paddle boards and kayaks and so glad we did because of all the other sea life we were able to get close to. The property felt secluded and was well manicured. Beds were comfy. Our family had the best time and even though we went on a few excursions we really didn’t need to leave as this property has it all. Would definitely love to stay again.

Simply breathtaking location on Long Key in Layton, FL. The Buchanan Layton Home was ideal for our family of 5 adults and 10 month old granddaughter. Every day of our 6 night stay was wonderful which included boating, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking and more. We look forward to a return trip as soon as possible.

This property was amazing! The privacy was exactly as expected and we felt like we had our own island to ourselves. The home was lovely and beautifully decorated. We couldn't have asked for a better location and accommodation.
