Can't say enough fantastic things about our stay. We were a group of families with 7 adults and 8 kids ranging from 13-17. The hosts are wonderful and aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They have a fully stocked house with everything you could need. The numerous beach towels were amazing since we spent the majority of our stay on the super spacious pool deck and in the huge pool!. Another wonderful feature of the house is the numerous places to sit around the pool deck. We ate all our meals outside: at the bar counter or at the tables around the pool. It was wonderful to have so many seating options. Another huge perk of this house is the large refrigerator in the kitchen, but there is also a full size refrigerator in the basement for extra storage. In addition to that, there is a beverage refrigerator in the garage. If you rent "the REC" there is also an additional refrigerator in there as well. AMAZING! Obviously we didn't use them all, but it was nice to know that refrigerated space was available. Many times on our group trips we have to run and get ice for the coolers. So great not to have to worry about that. There is so much to do and so much space to do what ever you want! The space is just so great you will not be disappointed, the only disappointment you will have is that it is rented all the time and hard to return! Really cannot say enough positives about our stay. A vacation to remember! We will return! Thanks Jack and Lori!!

The home was as described big, clean and quiet . The beds were comfortable and the pantry fully stocked. There was so much to do and everyone loved it. We had plenty of room for our family of 14 of different age ranges. The hosts were thoughtful and we look forward to renting this again.

Our days started at 8:00 a.m. when the little people in our group helped Mr. Jack gather the chicken and duck eggs and feed the goats. We had breakfasts each morning with the freshest eggs possible, right from the source! Then there were so many choices: swimming in the pool, fishing in the well-stocked lake, hiking, boating, playing video games in the shed, or just hanging out in the shade. The house was immaculate when we arrived, the kitchen was well stocked with pantry staples and plenty of cookware, and dishes were plentiful for our group. Rooms are large and well-appointed. The owner is great to work with and very accommodating to all our needs. Our family said this was there best vacation ever!

Wonderful stay for entire family! Everything about the owners, rental property and process was top notch. We have stayed at many properties both in the United States and abroad and this experience and property ranks with the very best. Don't be fooled by location. Property has everything you will ever need during your stay and is set in a peaceful country setting. If you do need anything, Springfield is twenty minutes away. During our second day of our five day stay, the entire family were already buzzing in my ear about making it a annual tradition. We had ages 2,4,5,9,11,11, thirties, sixties, and 80's and plenty to do for everyone. We will be back!

This is an amazing property. The guys fished every day and even caught fish every day. The rec building entertained the kids when we had to drag them out of the pool. The adults loved the golf simulator. Lots and lots of extras in the kitchen and pantry like a waffle maker, spices, snacks, bandages, cold drinks, and much more. Very quiet yet close to stores if you need them. We will be back!

This property was incredible. We had a large group of friends there but it could easily be used for families as well. There is something for everyone and even though we had perfect weather to be outdoors, we would have been more than okay if we were forced inside. Jack and Lori were awesome hosts, everything went very smoothly.

Beautiful property with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. The fishing is top tier, huge bass on nearly every cast. We had so much fun reeling in fish after fish and comparing the catch of the day. We started off keeping track and before long most of us lost count. - Our family looks forward to planning a fishing trip every year, always looking to go somewhere new but honestly this place was so nice, checks all the boxes.. we are strongly considering booking for next year!

Our groupof approximately 15 Veterns does a yearly weekend getaway. This year we stayed at this property and we were not disappointed! Jack was easy to work with and very accommodating. The property was exactly as advertised. There is something for everyone at this property. We are talking about making this our yearly spot.

We stayed during Easter break. Which was the best Easter we ever had. Might not of been typical Easter but the memories will last a life time. We truly were happy from the moment we pulled up. The property is absolutely gorgeous. From the beautiful home, to the amazing outside kitchen and pool, lake, rec center and so much more. We had so much to do. (The kids weren't on any electronics the whole time) It was so relaxing and peaceful. We all bonded in so many more ways. We plan on making this our new Easter tradition. We had the best time ever here! There was so much to do and we did it all. Everyone in our family enjoyed our stay. Our kids had a blast and there was something for everyone to do. Our host were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The place was very clean and comfortable. We can't wait to go back! Thank you so much Jack and Lori!

This property was so fun and had something for everyone. We enjoyed the Rec Building with golf simulator and video games. We thought that would be the highlight but there was so much more to experience. We fished in the pond, sat in the hot tub, did a workout in the fitness center, had a family Black Jack game, pet the goats, chickens, and ducks, and took a walk around the pond. We would highly recommend this property and our hosts. They thought of everything. We had so much fun.

From checkin to communication to the stay was great. The property is highly recommended for group get togethers of all kinds. Our group of friends are so happy we stumbled on to this listing a few years ago. I will say that with the new ownership, the property is in better shape and cleaner. After talking with John at check in, they definitely have plans to make it better. We will be back again for another.

We had a fun family getaway with our kids and grandkids. 16 of us and it was exactly what we needed to all be together and chill for the weekend. Plenty to do for all ages It was a big hit for all.

We could not be happier with our stay at Lori and Jack's beautiful property. The home, the rec building and the grounds were all top notch, and the hosts are some of the nicest people we have ever met. This experience goes above and beyond what you would expect from a property with an in-ground pool, hot tub, rec center, pond and hiking trails. We were greeted with a generous gift basket, there was a nice "community" pantry full of items that Jack and Lori provide that travelers often forget, as well as things that other guests have left to share with future guests. We left a few things that we brought or bought but didn't use - that's a nice feeling and it actually makes it a lot easier to pack up our stuff when it's time to leave. Speaking of leaving, it was a piece of cake. Jack and Lori said they want their guests to enjoy their entire time at the property, so there was no racing around cleaning or doing loads of laundry like some other hosts require. All in all, it was a perfect mid-winter break, and we very highly recommend it!

We spent the weekend with extended family. Everyone, from the little ones to the grandparents, had an amazing time. The house had been nicely decorated for the holidays, and the amenities were even better than advertised. No detail has seemingly been overlooked. We'd love to come back in the warmer weather to enjoy the pool and pond. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time. So much to do and space that we weren’t in each others way but still all of us together. Hoping to rent again in the future maybe in the summer to enjoy swimming and fishing

My 6 adult siblings and I are scattered across the country now. We gathered with our spouses at this property for an extended weekend to reconnect. Summerfell was the perfect place for us to just hang together for a few days. Plenty of activities on site to pass the time together, and great spaces for preparing and sharing meals. And the hosts went out of their way to ensure we had everything we wanted. (We didn't bring any on this trip, but there are a lot of activities to keep kids entertained, too!) Would definitely go back.

The property overall was gorgeous. The family loved the fishing. Hosts accommodated a 2 night reservation though it has a minimum of 3. We ran about 30 min past check out and they were very accommodating as well. The kitchen is huge has all supplies needed. We did not rent the rec room as I felt I was paying enough to stay on the property was not going to pay an extra 400 for use of arcade games. We did run into a few hiccups. The property itself which the host will tell you is loaded with cameras so you are always under surveillance. The rec room which is located right behind the house is where the owners stayed the whole time as they stated they had to tend to animals on property but do not normally do this just so happened to be when we were there. We did feel as if we were not trusted honestly. Question we had was if we rented the rec room where would they have stayed? The master suite has potential to be amazing. First the fireplace did not work my husband had to clean and get lit. The jacuzzi jet tub was filthy. The jets wouldn't work and when we finally got them on alot of sediment and hair came from them. The massage chair though is amazing. The bed is very comfortable. We were told the pool was cleaned 2 days prior to our arrival but was full of dirt and leaves. The hot tub was green and murky. Though the kids swam once it was not a pleasant sight for the adults to want to enjoy it. That does make me sad as it is one of the main reasons I rented and paid so much was for a heated pool I could enjoy while the rest fished. The heaters can not even keep up. The pool liner is severlly seperated from the pool. The wifi went out mid Sat and never returned. I wish I could give 5 stars as it has so much potential. After I checked out I did tell the hosts about the issues and they were not receptive at all. Unfortunately if you are going to run a business you need to be able to except feedback and grow from it.

This place was great for our annual golf trip. Has everything we could ask for. Owners were there when we arrived to go over the property and answer any questions we had. We will be back.

We just had our wedding here over the weekend and this property was phenomenal! It was the perfect set up to have everything in one place. There was more than enough rooms for our wedding party to stay, beautiful locations to choose from for the ceremony/pictures, and lots of space and entertainment for after the ceremony. We chose to add on the rec center which gave everyone even more options throughout the weekend, it was definitely worth it in our opinion! Lori and Jack are fantastic hosts and made the whole process easier than we could have imagined. Communication was great and they've really taken the time to make sure you have everything you would need for your stay. We received so many compliments from our guests and our friends have already mentioned how we'll have to come back. We could not recommend this place enough!

Great place for vacation, enjoyed swimming, boating, fishing, games & many unexpected extras. Would gladly return again. Owner very pleasant and quickly responded to all our requests.

This was by far the best company trip we've had so far and we will definitely be coming back. The house was perfect for our needs and the owners had literally thought of everything we would need. An abundance of extra beach towels, take what you want/leave what you want fridge AND pantry. All watercraft was easily accessible by the pond where you'll be using it. Tons of floaties, balls, and pool accessories. Chairs everywhere, extra propane. TV's everywhere, although we didn't turn a single one on the whole trip. A massage chair worth every penny. And just a great hospitable environment. They really try to make your stay enjoyable. Just book it already and stop hovering over the button. It'll be gone by the time you make up your mind about the other properties you're considering.

Myself, my siblings, their spouses, and children all stayed and had a wonderful time. Jack and Lori were very responsive and took care of us well. The place had everything we needed and more than enough to do that we didn't even get around to everything there was to offer. We are all in agreement that we would stay again. The property was amazing and full of activities! We stayed here for a bachelor party and never ran out of things to do on the property. The property owners (Jack and Lori) were fantastic hosts and really went above and beyond to accommodate us. We'd definitely come back!

We spent a week at this property and it exceeded every expectation we had. It was very spacious and accommodating for our entire family. The kitchen island was a great place to congregate for meals and the outdoor space was incredible. We spent most of our time there. We enjoyed the pond activities and probably the best surprise was the REC . All ages were able to enjoy it and we had many fun family activities in there- from art projects to relay races. Not to mention the golf simulator and video games that were almost always in use. The property host was very responsive to any need we had and went over and above to make our stay special. We were initially concerned with being out in the country without the typical tourist type activities, but we never felt the need to leave. This property is perfect for a multi generational vacation and we are already discussing when we could go back. I highly recommend it!!

We had fun i sent almost all my time fishing at the lake and by chance i had a big cat fish ,great place . I recommend.

This property is wonderful! The new owners have created a wonderful, clean, family friendly environment. We were a group of 4 couples celebrating a 40th birthday. The pool area is great! Pool, hot tub, grill area, chaise lounges, fun in the sun! The home was clean, well stocked and comfy! Lori and Jack are great, quick to respond to any questions and have a lot of plans for the future of this property.

This secluded country location is amazing, and has a wealth of amenities, including an indoor recreation area… and the house had plenty of room for our large family. The expansive pool area and grounds gave us many options to have fun, play games and interact with nature. We loved the large pond for water recreation and it has some great fishing for all ages! Lori and Jack are wonderful hosts, we’re already booked to go back!
