This place was within 10-15 minutes of all the sights. The house was nice, clean and cozy. The owners were very helpful and stayed in constant communication with us. The neighborhood was very nice. We had my parents (70+), my wife a kids (11,8, & 6) and my brothers family of 5 with three teenagers. We stayed and slept comfortably in the house. This place is a jewel nestled in the middle of St Louis. You will enjoy your stay!

First, let me say this was a beautiful place and very clean. It had all the amenities we could want. Management was a bit delayed in fixing the internet. We had no internet for about half of our stay. They eventually fixed it but I think they could’ve done it faster. A couple of other issues: ants got all into our food in the kitchen and one of the windows had a leak. Aside from that, everything was great!

Great location to St Louis sights

Great location and property to stay for family wedding at nearby park. Awesome home. Would definitely stay again.

I have no complaints about this property, it was perfect for us, it was four of us for a girls trip. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, as did the whole house. It was well stocked with everyday house supplies that you would typically expect. The backyard is really nice it would have been great if it had patio furniture to sit and enjoy a cup of morning coffee. That still didn’t effect our stay, but would have been a nice addition. What really impressed me and is why I would recommend anyone to also stay here, is the owners are extremely responsive. I mean they reply to all my messages with in minutes. The electricity went out at about 11:30pm, it was an outage on the street so zero fault of the owners. I texted and had a response within 5 minutes, with a explanation that they checked with the company and it was an outage in the area & the expected time was 2-3 hours for the lights to turn back on. The lights came back on in about 45min. I was impressed with the quick responses, it means a lot, especially in a situation like that. The house is in a great location and takes about 10-15 minutes to get downtown. When we come back to St. Louis, we already know exactly where we want to stay

The house was amazing. It accommodated the 9 of us very comfortably.

The location of the house and the size of space were both great. There were some issues however. The floors were covered in a sticky wax or oil that got all over our socks and feet. This was probably just an issue with bad cleaning products being used but it made the first floor much less enjoyable. The back deck is rotted out and has large holes in it making it a hazard and unusable. There were some DYI fails such as the barn door that divides the kitchen from on of the bedrooms. It is attached to wall with a 2x4, does not fully open and smashes the wall when being closed. Additionally the refrigerator leaks water on the kitchen floor and we were unable to get this fixed during our stay despite multiple contacts with the management company. Overall this was not like a traditional VRBO where you stay at someones home. Where it feels comfortable and well thought out. Instead it feels like it was designed by a committee with budget constraints, lack of skilled labor and discussions of synergies.

We celebrated my daughters 40th Birthday with our entire family of 12. The spaces were great for all of us. My only suggestion would be to have larger pans in the kitchen.
When you rent a large house to a large party of people you need to make sure that the cookware will also fit the listing.
The house needs a good deep cleaning. The baseboards were dirty and the stairs looked like they had not been vacumed in a long time.

Overall, this home was great for our family to gather for a wedding and Christmas! The home was spacious enough and comfortable. The 5th bedroom/living space was good for teens, the kitchen very functional , dining table seated at least 10 comfortably, and the living room good for group conversation and TV viewing. The steps a bit steep, but had a sturdy rail and bedrooms had space with comfortable beds! We loved the location… pleasant neighborhood… walking distance to shop’s & restaurants on South Grand and to Tower Grove Park,. Management was very responsive to our questions and concerns.
Would recommend…

We had a very nice stay! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the beds were very comfortable. It’s nice that it’s walking distance from a cute area. We would definitely stay again.

Clean with large beds. Great place for our large group!

We spent a weekend here and there was plenty of space for our group of 11 adults. The open floor plan of the home makes it easy to all be together without feeling cramped. The large table was nice for having meals together too. We did cook at the house and found it a bit difficult as the kitchen wasn’t super well stocked with supplies, but other than that the space was perfect for what we needed!

This is an older house in a neat older area of town. It is well maintained and has lots of room for a large family. Very quick response times and very accommodating. One thing I would mention for older people especially, the stairs are very high and steep. We did fine but would keep that in mind. I would definitely recommend!

This house had ample space for everyone in our party. The beds and pillows were comfy. Sheets were also comfy and clean. They need to find a new cleaning company as the floors were dirty and floorboards likely not cleaned in months if not years. The carpet needs a deep clean or to be replaced. The master tub hot water handle is mostly missing. There were not enough clean towels, so my husband had to share his with our almost 2 year old son. The bathrooms were not restocked with toilet paper. We finally found the stockpile in the kitchen cabinet when we were prepping for checkout the day we left. The disposal didn't work in the kitchen and we were unable to get hot water at that sink. The ice maker in the fridge doesn't work. The check-in process was smooth, but very oddly, we had to provide a photo ID. Really not sure why this was since we booked through VRBO, and no one was present at the time of arrival to verify our picture. Seems like a useless breach of privacy.

We had a great experience with this home. We had six adults and five children ages six and younger. The downstairs bedroom off the kitchen was a great play and sleep area for the five and six year olds. The open living, dining, and kitchen space was great for our large group. The beds were very comfortable. A high chair and pack and play was provided, which helped with the little ones. We could walk to shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is lovely and felt safe. Communication was excellent and check in was smooth. The deck off the back of the house may need a bit of repair and had no furniture to sit on, but we never needed to use it.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very accommodating and the property itself is close to everything you’d want to do in St. Louis. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us to spread out. One of the reasons we chose this property is because the listing boasted a backyard and deck with plenty of room for kids to play (and we had three little kids with us). However, the deck is falling apart in various places so was unsafe to use and there are cords hanging low throughout the yard making it unsafe for the kids to play in which is why we gave it a four star rather than a five star review.

Very accommodating house for our family!! Close to everything we wanted to do! Very nice neighborhood with a beautiful park close!!

Great house and great host. Very nice neighborhood close to restaurants and shops. Also not too hard to get to the downtown area. We had some maintenance issues and they responded right away. We were bummed that there was no patio furniture, but all the other amenities were great. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This is a great property for mixed-age groups! Beautiful, grassy backyard and large deck and patio. Spacious, well-equipped kitchen. Great flow among rooms on the first floor. Three large bedrooms upstairs with king beds made all the tall adults happy while the smaller rooms with trundle beds were perfect for younger kids who want to be together. Loved the proximity to local retail on Grand as well as Tower Grover park and the grocery store. Typical for a St. Louis winter, we had outside temps ranging from below zero to 68 degrees but the house was always snug and cozy. We had 3 cars and to our surprise the promise of ALWAYS having on-street parking available right outside our door was true!

This was our second stay. This house is wonderful. Very comfortable in a fantastic family neighborhood. Very close to shops and restaurants. Also close to Tower Grove Park and the Missouri Botanical Garden. Had a few issues after check in but AbodeBucks, the management company responded immediately and sent their rep, Nick, over to take care of everything to our satisfaction. Nick was great. I’ve never had a VRBO owner in “rapid response” mode with texts this company does. These guys are great. We’ll be back.

This is a great place to stay while in St Louis. Very convenient to Shaw Park and the Missouri Botanical Garden. Felt like a very safe, family oriented neighborhood. It’s the quietest house I’ve ever stayed in. Kitchen was very well equipped with new appliances. Washer and dryer on the main floor. Beds are very comfortable. Baths very clean and updated. Overall we had an excellent stay and will be back whenever we’re in St Louis.

Overall the stay was wonderful. Well equipped and spacious kitchen. Large dining table. Bedrooms were spacious. Beds were very comfortable. The only thing I will complain about was that the carpet and floors were dirty and not vacuumed. Otherwise it was clean. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place. Perhaps just a little talk with the cleaning service would be needed.
