Breakfast was very good. Very fresh bread, local butter, cold meats, local cheese, local yoghurts, good croissants, orange juice, tea or coffee.

The room was beautiful. The towels were rather tired, one had a run in it. The bedspread was lovely but had a couple of small darns. I felt the grounds let the place down a little. They could have been lovely but were rather unkept. I had a lovely little terrace but the dwarf wall round the terrace was full of weeds. These small criticisms did not detract from my stay . I would definitely stay there again.

Decoration and comfort of the room, space, views on the countryside and breakfast were amazing, but what exceeded our expectations was the warm welcome and availability of the hosts, a lovely couple. They obviously care about this place and this is reflected in their attention to detail, kindness and the personalised tips they give to the guests.

Sadly it seems that the landlord won't hire an extra person to allow the hosts to rest one or two days a week, meaning the hosts currently work 7 days a week April to November - this is insane. This means they will retire at the end of the year to finally get some free (well deserved) time, and the landlord will probably lose what was an impeccable and amazing service from two passionate people. Short sighted!

We chose this historic chamber d'hote for its countryside location and its proximity to Brittany Ferries Ferry Terminal We were more than happy with our spacious corner deluxe room with bath as well as shower.All the amenities and facilities were there. The breakfast was French style but also included ham cheese and eggs Host Christophe was welcoming and engaging

Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful. Staff were friendly, helpful and generous in their time to us and the other guests in outlining places to visit.

great location for st malo ferry.

Instead of having a normal mattress protector, they had a waterproof protector which you’d usually use for your children - horrible (hot & uncomfortable). All the crockery was scratched and mugs just look over used. Bed spread looked like it had been washed hundred times and lost its original colour. Needs some investment in the finer detail, things looked tired. Also sink in bathroom needs a proper bleach or mould spray. Sorry we stayed at 5 other b&bs during our stay and the quality was of a much higher standard.

I loved my time there, the place was so beautiful, calm, and the people who attend us were so sweet and helpful. I’d comeback there for sure!!!!

Beautiful room, tastefully decorated, large with plenty of space, big en-suite, private patio overlooking a walled garden. Fresh breakfast from the bakery, that was very nice. Just on the fringe of St Malo, perfect. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Great location with St Malo easily accessible by car, yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff who were on hand to offer recommendations. We particularly liked the sauna! Perfect for relaxing after a long day’s walking.

The breakfast was lovely and we were able to enjoy this as our boat was delayed slightly. The location was perfect for catching the ferry from St Malo, just 15 minute easy drive.

Beautiful property with tastefully furnished room. Room was spotlessly clean. Ideal quiet countryside situation. Hosts were friendly and knowledgeable and happy to talk. Breakfast was well presented with good quality food.

Welcome good, but we had to wait until 17.00 local time. Excellent parking facilities. Room very good but roof space location could be rather hot after a warm sunny day, we were there on a windy cooler day and experienced no discomfort. Windows needed to be open all night for comfortable sleeping and road noise was slightly intrusive.

Welcome by our host was very friendly and helpful - assistance with baggage much appreciated, however, at breakfast we thought we detected a very slight disdain towards the clientele. Self service was not encouraged. We would have preferred a slightly earlier breakfast to enable us to reach the ferry port (latest book-in time is one hour befor sailing at 09.30) in good time and allow for possible delays and this was accommodated to some extent, although it appeared to be slightly grudginly.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to help. The room was immaculate, the thick old stone walls keeping the room nice and cool during a heat wave. The location was perfect to allow us to get to the ferry early in the morning to make our crossing.
