I booked this as a last minute weekend getaway, we love this area so much! We hadn’t stayed on Beech Mountain yet, and it was a very cute, quaint little town! The cabin was wonderful, so cute, and perfect for what my family needed! I booked based off of the pictures so we were surprised to see a full basement of games! We spent many hours playing ping pong! The views were stunning, and we spent every breakfast and dinner out on the porch, and coffee in the mornings! as Floridians, who want to escape the heat we absolutely loved the 60 degree mornings and evenings! We walked down to the slopes one day and watched the mountain bikers come down, and enjoyed the Craft and Art shows in both Beech and Banner Elk! We saved a hummingbird, and counted over 30 deer walking the property, and road around it, my kids were so excited. We can’t wait to come back!

Overall had a great stay, the house was as described and had everything we needed. Beautiful view and the basement was perfect for entertaining our kids during the rain. Convenient location to restaurants and easy to get to. Only downfall was the air conditioner stopped working on our second day and it required multiple calls and voicemails before someone came out. I understand that those things happen, but it was more the lack of response that left me a bit disappointed. I’ll note that the main response team at Blue Ridge Rentals always answered and was responsive and apologetic, but the Beech Mountain team didn’t answer when we were transferred and it took multiple voicemails and calls to the main line to get someone to call back.

A lot of care and attention went into equipping the house with everything guests might need. Large table was great for card games, puzzles, and sharing a meal. After a cozy weekend, we hope to return again another time.

We had an amazing time!! The house was close to the slopes so those that wanted to snowboard were able to take a small hike to yet slopes. The game room was very handy as well as the hot tub. The house was surprisingly warm in the bedroom areas. The main area was a little chilly but that is to be expected with that wonderful view!!

I stayed at the property with my husband and another couple, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location was very convenient and the view from the deck at sunrise was absolutely breathtaking.

Every year my family and I go to the mountains for a long weekend. We have stayed at many rentals but this was by far the fan favorite. They have everything a kid and “big” kid could need. We were in the game room late into every night. They definitely have thought of families when creating this space and mine can’t wait to go back. I already miss the view and the tabletop fire pit. You can drive to beech mountain resort in 2 min or walk! Banner Elk is a quick 15 min drive. I already have family and friends asking where we stayed! Thanks for sharing your home with us!
