We loved our stay here. The house was clean and decorated nicely. The beds were very comfortable. The host was quick to communicate with us. They even let us stop back by to pick up clothing we had forgotten in the dryer at checkout. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering staying. Thanks again for everything!

It was our second time staying at this cottage, we had a small problem arriving but the manager was able to accommodate us in another rental near by. We will be back for sure.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, walked to the marina, shops and out to eat. Easy drive to other large beaches and tourist areas. Nice central location.

Great place for our FL visit. The house was clean and well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen items, beach chairs, games and even a washer/dryer. Beds very comfortable. Very responsive hosts. I’m used to room darkening shades so the lights from nearby properties at night were a bit bright for my personal comfort but might not bother others. Would stay here again.

Easy to get to and get in. Good location and met our needs for a short stay. Beach is a 15-20 min drive. Gulfport has a cute downtown area.

Great little place to stay! Nice neighborhood and close to a lot of places to eat and little shops. The beach was pretty close as well. Everything was clean and lots of extras! Plenty of towels and clean linens! Thanks for the great stay!

We loved staying here at the Green Gumdrop Cottage! Everything was accessible and easy to find! The host had all the utensils you needed if you decided to cook a meal! It was very clean and and welcoming. The host was very communicative and friendly if we needed anything! I would definitely recommend this cute little cottage for anyone to stay at!

I loved staying here at the green cottage. It was tidy and had everything I needed to cook, to read, to watch TV and to explore the town and the shoreline.

Responsive. Friendly. Gracious host. Clean, organized & charming home. Easy, convenient online check-in. Comfy beds, cozy rooms. Minimal but tasteful. Would be ideal if they had room for washer/dryer but it’s a small historic home. Could use a new shower head that locks at an angle. They do provide ample towels (love the white ones- pls share where you got them), beach towels & chairs even. Would stay again if near this area. Unless you need all the modern fixings, no need to hesitate!

The responsiveness of the property managers was rather remarkable and much appreciated. The bed we used was very comfortable and the house is extremely quiet for sleeping. Even our doggie was very relaxed here, which is a huge plus for us. If you are looking for a place exactly between DTSP and the beaches, this is a great option.

This beach cottage was a dream! Everything we needed was here for us to use. This home was so clean and smelled fresh when we arrived. We adored being greeted and shown all the home had to offer. We spent the 4th of July right on the beach watching fireworks and it was everything you would expect to celebrate America. We hope to stay here again, maybe for longer!

My two nieces stayed here for a short vacation and it was their first trip to Florida. This cottage is the quintessential "Florida Cottage". It was well furnished and decorated, the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The guidebook provided useful information, too. Check-in and check-out were easy and communication with the host was excellent. If you are looking for a quaint cottage for relaxing, I recommend this one.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “Green Gumdrop Cottage” which was a business/pleasure trip for us. From the time we met Melissa and Debra at check-in orientation until we left, they could not have been more eager to please. We did not experience any adverse issues during our 10 day stay. The Cottage is ideally located. Not far from “Beach Blvd.,” the main street of town where you will find an eclectic array of shops and restaurants. We did not have enough time to try them all, but all we tried were great! Menus from some and the surrounding area are in the cottage. Originally part of an old historic “fish camp” a cute beach theme décor” runs throughout the cottage. The neighbors we met were very friendly. We found the cottage to be equipped with many extras beyond the basic items we have found in other rentals. They even added an additional tv in one bedroom so my husband and I could watch our different programs at night! There are beach towels and chairs for use at the beach which is located at the Gulfport Recreation Area at the end of Beach Blvd., not far from the cottage. The Recreation area is lively with beach volleyball and concerts all the time. Due to the rain, we were not able to enjoy the beach on our “off time”. We wish we had booked the cottage for a few more days. Unfortunately it was already booked. We hope our business will take us back to the Clearwater/St. Pete area. We will definitely try to arrange it around an opening at the “Green Gumdrop Cottage” in Gulfport. All in all, the cottage was perfect for our needs! Thanks for a great experience!
