No parking next to property but car park isn’t too far

If you are ok with spending £450 a night for an ok apartment and being informed AFTER the non refundable booking that you will need to do housekeeping - clean and arrange all the dishes in cupboards, remove all the sheets from beds, clean the flat and leave it as you found it, arrange the furniture in its place etc - or else you risk a bond of £100 being charged to your account - this might be the place for you. We were quite surprised as this was not mentioned anywhere on the booking page, and goes well beyond anything we’ve seen in any properties, not to mention the fact that this is not a cheap flat. Especially for the area - it is situated in Seaton, a tiny town that has nothing at all to see or do - so £450 is already a lot. The flat itself is ok, nothing special. We also had trouble sleeping at night because there was a very loud sound /bang coming every 30 min or so from the boiler or heater - not sure if that is safe or if it needs to be checked. Also be aware there is no parking so you’ll need to park on the street further away.

Great location and the flat is amazing. It is huge with everything we could possibly have needed! We would love to go back again! There were only 3 of us and we had so much space. Beautifully furnished too.

Some very minor niggles - the wifi really only works in the living room/kitchen, some of the crockery was not clean (the previous guests, no doubt). We knew it would be up one flight of stairs but I would say not really suitable for people who are a little infirm.

This is a really great place to stay. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The sea front does need a bit of TLC but everyone was really friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect and it is really easy to take the bus to Beer or to Lyme Regis from the bus stops right outside if you don't fancy battling the traffic. The apartment was clean and very comfortable with great sea views. There is parking nearby and the option to drive and drop off bags etc which was helpful.

There is another apartment above this one. The noise does travel a bit and we heard the small children above us early and often! The parking information needs updating - we parked in the right car park but there wasn't any information about a permit etc. In the end we rang the hosts who organised it/confirmed car registration etc really quickly but it would help if that was made clearer.

Lovely flat, located directly to the beach. Best seaview ever from dining table. Loved to have nearly breakfast there.

A choice of pillows would be nice, thin and thick.

lack of parking is a little inconvenient

The location of the property was fantastic. The access to the sea front was amazing. We were thrilled with the views and the property was clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated and spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots for cooking. A few simple ingredients like salt and pepper would be useful. The welcome package was super and a nice surprise. I would highly recommend this property.
