The house has many sitting areas, inside and outside, which was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The boat launch was minutes away. Very quiet and very clean!

Stayed at Bucks Crossing for a guys ice fishing trip weekend. Great central location on Petenwell lake, within minutes of both Wilderness County and Veteran’s boat launches. House was clean and had everything we needed for our trip, kitchen was well stocked with adequate cooking utensils and dishware. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles with atv trailers. Fishing wasn’t bad either with a number of short and keeper size walleyes, crappies and perch. We’ll definitely be back, thanks!

This was located off the busy roadway. Nestled in the woods. Very clean. Lots of deer activity and wildlife. I would highly recommend to get away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. We are already talking about booking another date.

Overall good experience, but there was some dog food in one corner and dog hair on blankets and pillows. Also lots of dead and alive lady bugs inside.

Quiet, peaceful & perfect for our 22 year wedding anniversary. The house is a good size with a great yard for the dog. Close to lots of things to do & some beautiful lakes. We will be back.

This house was great for our family. My only complaint would be with cleanliness. I don’t blame the owners but there was a lot of hair all over the floor. I do think from a dog which is fine but someone shouldn’t be picking up piles. In addition, the sheets on my daughters bed definitely had dog hair all over them. Was a bit concerned they weren’t washed before we came. Again not the owners fault as I assume they hire a company to clean. House was quiet, great location to the lake which we loved. Would come back

Very spacious and clean cabin. Nice remote location near lots of hiking! I liked that it was dog friendly and there was a 3 season porch and two regular porches. Very cozy and well equipped! A/C unit worked well and we appreciated having it.

Property had more than enough room inside and outside. It was nice to find a property that accepted two dogs and there was plenty of room to setup two dog kennels in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and small appliances. Local beach just minutes away and short drive to Buckhorn State Park or Wis Rapids Aquadic Center.

We loved our stay and will be back. So quiet and secluded. So many places to sit inside and out and listen to the birds.

My husband and I were looking for a place to getaway with our dog and this cabin was perfect and pet friendly! The beaches/bars/restaurants were all about a 20 minute drive but the views are beautiful as you commute to the different locations. The house was clean, updated nicely and the bed was so comfy! There was plenty of space outside for our dog to run and enjoy himself as well. Thank you for letting us stay here and to anyone going up, we highly recommend Nekoosa Cafe for breakfast the Woodbine Supper Club for dinner AND the Old Mill for drinks, they are dog friendly!

The house was so beautiful and cozy and had all the amenities we needed. The property is very spacious and the beaches were within 5 minutes. The location is ideal, we had lots of peace and quiet, very little traffic on our road, and the stars were a sight to see at night.

Don’t let the simple exterior of this home fool you, this cabin has everything. The kitchen was well furnished (no food provided, you need to bring coffee, salt, pepper, etc). WiFi was fast and plenty of dvds as well. Bonus 4 season porch is fantastic. Tons of seats to have a crowd over for dinner! We were at the cabin when it was 90+ degrees. By closing doors and shades as well as setting up fans we were able to make the window ac work just fine and keep the house comfortable. (They supplied 3 fans) Lots of places to check out in the area. We will be back!

What a sweet cabin that feels like the north woods without the drive! Cabin was very clean and spacious. The bonus 4 season porch is great! The Wilderness Park is only a few minutes away and is a nice small beach with fishing options and only costs $5 to park your car. Buckhorn State Park is beautiful. The Shipwreck is a great open air restaurant/bar with live music and good food. The Wisc. Rapids aquatic center is a lovely outdoor pool. Thank you! We had so much fun!

The cabin was spacious and clean. Everything seemed brand new. The road out front is a dead end, literally didn't see another vehicle drive by. It takes about 5 min to get to the wilderness boat launch and we caught a bunch of walleyes, perch, sheepshead, and catfish. We will be back for sure!
