We had a great stay at the Cosby TN rental. It was a great location for our group. Close to rafting the Pigeon River, great hiking nearby - the Cosby nature trail was a beautiful and easy hike next to a lot of flowing water. The movie theater provided great nightime entertainment and the pool/ hot tub were nice ammenities for when we stayed in. We enjoyed Gatlinburg for a day and headed out to rafting the nantahala in NC - easy 2 hour drive - we went through the park and saw bears and elk along the way. This would be a great winter rental as well with the indoor pool. We had a group of 10 but could easily have slept 6 more.

We were really happy with the house. All amenities listed were accurate and, above all, working! The host was quick to respond to questions we had on check in. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, glasses and utensils. The entertainment features were all easy to understand and plentiful. All in all we were very pleased with this host and the house.

The size and amenities of this home were perfect for my large and extended family. We enjoyed the spacious bedrooms, and heated pool, large dining room table, and pool table. It was a great place for the kids!!

We chose this location for our annual writers retreat weekend, and it didn't disappoint. Each individual and couple got their own room with full to king sized bed, and the three couches and the large dining room table were great for gathering as a group. We were on there two nights, but we used the hot tub, pool, video games, and pool table. If it hadn't been rainy, we would have used the outdoor fire pit too. Great space for a group of adults looking to stay in and enjoy each others' company all weekend.

Overall, we were happy with our stay and found the space of the property to be great for our large group (17 people). The kids and adults loved the pool, hot tub, arcade games, move room, and pool table. Although we did not get a chance to use the outdoor fire pit, the space was nice. The location to hiking trails was great. The quality of the mattresses could be improved as most of them were thin/sinking and not comfortable. We would have appreciated access to more bath towels as we had a large group but there were not as many towels left out as the listing advertised the house could accommodate. Additionally, we were told that each bathroom should have been supplied with two rolls of toilet paper but some only had one or none when we arrived; same with things like paper towels, garbage bags, and dishwasher tablets (very limited supply for the size of this house and group; had to go out and buy more), there was not enough to cover our stay. Additionally, some items such as the rocking chairs on the porch were in rougher shape/broken and did not appear as they did in the listing. Communication with the owner was polite and quick, however and we overall enjoyed our stay!

July 2023 We had a great time because we made the best of everything. The cabin could have been cleaner. Instructions for grill needed to be updated. The grill needed to be cleaned and repaired. We weren't able to use it. A charcoal grill will solve this issue.

The cabin is exactly as described. There was plenty of room for our family to enjoy our time there. It is also pet friendly so we were able to bring our pet dog in addition to my sons service dog. Anytime I asked a question I received a very quick response. She offered help finding places to eat and made sure I knew that she was available anytime for anything we need.
