What a great view of Seneca Lake!

This is a nicely refinished motel; don't expect more than that from your room. A few minor requests: the parking- side windows are painted shut; this won't bother most, but the ability to cross ventilate would be great. That's nitpicking, though - we'll stay here again!

Rooms were clean & had all necessities. Fantastic view of sunrise over Lake Seneca! This is an older hotel that has been updated. You can tell the owner has gone to great lengths to make it clean & comfortable. Rooms depict and was told this hotel used to be filled with IndyCar, Grand Prix, Formula one drivers in it's heyday.

The pool is being renovated & the hotel is older so at first glance things looked questionable. Upon seeing the rooms & the view we were impressed. My only complaint was there is a need to find a place for the soap-dish in the corner of the new, clean, tiled, glass shower. Once the pool is repaired they will easily get $100 a night more for this location. Nice tv, blow dryer, plenty of coffee, comfy mattress - great view. Everything you need!

The patio/balcony view. Decor was well thought out and best? It was new.

Pillows were like rubber rocks. No hooks or hangers in room or bathroom. Not even a semblance of a closet, open would be okay, just something. Shower over tub impossible for 80 year old person to negotiate, plus tub was very slippery. Needs some landscaping when all the other renovations have been completed.

There was no breakfast available. The faculty was being renovated. The beds were very comfortable.

The newly renovated bathroom had no ventilation fan. There was no way to remove the steam after taking a shower.

Pleasant room, beautiful view of lake, private balcony, designated parking area, pleasant staff. location Looking forward to restaurant opening and swimming pool!! Great job renovating.

no non-slip matt for shower. would have liked another towel rack would have liked a list of TV channels

A little dated, but I like dated

I have been here many times over the years. It seems to decline a bit each year. No pool, no bar, no fridge, no hair dryers, etc. Toilet paper holders do not even hold the toilet tissues. They roll on the floor. Bedspreads are like old friends I see from year to year. (I had to give the toilet a cleaning this time.). Office closes at 9. However, when I sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and some appetizers, the world disappears, and lovely Seneca and the surrounding area tell me that all is right with the world.

Since the motel has recently changed ownership I am understanding of the pool being closed and the restaurant having only certain hours open. Motel only offered coffee in the morning when I would have liked the availability of an open restaurant that would be serving a full breakfast.. Would have liked a mini fridge and an updated coffee maker in the room. Black out drapes in the room because one in my party had trouble sleeping. Unfortunately since the former owner did not do much updating, hopefully the new owner will make the necessary changes. I did have a great time anyway.
