very noisy and can hear when a shower is put on as the water heater arch’s up

We didn’t need/want the spa but that was my booking mistake and it was too difficult to undo

Close to a wedding venue, walking distance to shops, and cafes. Opposite the lovely park.

Room was excellent and real value for money Staff were welcoming and very friendly..nothing was a problem..meal was very generous and extremely tasty..Bar staff were always smiling and overall the stay was memorable..would recommend Victoria Hotel to everyone!!

Room was ok no real complaints other than no hot water but they did say they would refund one night and gave us a voucher for the facilities too Breakfast basic but plentiful

Our room had a few cobwebs near tops of curtains and door rattles in wind but that was minor overall

Accommodation is upstairs. A lift for luggage would make it much easier for busy.

Guest car parking could be improved.

Fabulous location, comfortable room with good amenities and continental breakfast included. Perfect for a quick overnight stay. Meal in the bistro was great!

We had dinner there two evenings and the food was good. Location was good for our needs.

Lovely old pub opposite a beautiful botanic park. Great staff and food, comfortable accommodation.
