Very good location, walk to many attractions, good room size, good service from reception. Mattress was not firm it caused us backpain.

We booked Ascot for a 3 night city break and were not disappointed. The lobby and bar/lounge areas are very stylish and we had a warm welcome at reception with very helpful staff. The room had a boutique feel about it and was well laid out with high quality furniture and many lighting options including a queen sized bed. There was a coffee machine, mini bar and fridge plus kettle though only the instant coffee/tea was free - there was also air conditioning but you could open the window which we appreciated. The one slight negative was a lack of power points and in particular no USB points which is odd as the room looked like it had been recently refurbished The bathroom was excellent and had a large glass enclosed walk-in shower with a huge ceiling mounted shower head and plenty of complimentary shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash and more importantly plenty of shelf space to store toiletries ( a feature often lacking in many hotels). The only thing we could have done with was a shaver point. There is no restaurant, however there are plenty of eateries nearby but the hotel does have a large dining room in which the buffet breakfast is served. The buffet is of very high quality with a great selection of cereals, breads, pastries, meats etc plus a limited hot offering. If you do stay here I would definitely recommend the breakfast! Overall excellent value for money and a refreshing change from the bland 'chain' hotels.

When checked in we arrived to the room which smelled of mildew. The hotel was also noisy where we could hear the people above us. The breakfast buffet was not worth the fee. I ate mainly croissants and fruit. Most breakfast buffets have pastries at breakfast as well. I do not think staff came in to our room during our stay as the garbage can was not emptied. I have no problem using a towel more than once but would also like to have the garbage cans emptied. I spent time reviewing hotels and expected more considering there were so many hotels to choose from.

The Ascot was great. The location was great and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The room, a deluxe double room with a king bed, had a comfortable bed, was clean, modern, and tiny. The hot components of breakfast were not wonderful, but the others were great.

Fantastic, beautiful hotel. Breakfast was amazing! Only downside was the cubicle style toilet & shower unit actually in the bedroom. The sort of room you can only stay in if you know someone "really well" or have been together for a long time! 😂

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very helpful and always available! The location of the hotel is perfect for walking the city center!

We were told upon arrival that we'd been upgraded for free. I don't think anyone who actually wants to rest/sleep should have to pay for the room we were given. I can only assume the people assigned this room before us had been moved after complaining. The noise from the dining room area above and the automatic door to our corridor was frequently unbearable. Sounds of stomping and dragging of furniture happened until around midnight and resumed around 6am. I would not recommend staying here longer than 1 night if you're given a room below the reception area. Lovely decor, but not at all value for money if you want to sleep properly during your stay.

About 5 min walk to metro and 8 to main train station. About 5 min walk to Strøget main cute shopping street. 3 stops on train to airport. Check in guy was amazing. Friendly. 5 min walk to bars Tivoli, 7-11, coffee. Beds super comfy and I’m picky. Only complaint was ridiculously small bathroom sink. Nowhere for toiletries and could barely brush teeth or was face because spider took up whole sink and you bump your nose on it. Wish there was more counter space. But all else perfect. Would stay there again. But next time I would try Christianhaven or Gammel or Nyhavn as they are cuter areas. This is more downtown city feel.

My wife and I assumed that the room would have air conditioning but we had a fan instead in the room which helps to distribute the hot air around the room.The room was clean but room service was on request which seems the standard these days

Only gripe is my room didn’t have air conditioning, European hotels often do t and you have to request it but overall the staff and accommodation were excellent and helpful. Also a nice touch were the toiletries in the room were groovy , toothbrushes and shaving kits came in handy as Swiss air lost my luggage for a few days

Good: great location, very professional and friendly staff. Not good: very poor Wi-Fi: slow and unstable. Hotels.com claims it has AC but it does not - have a fan in a room. After staying requested an itemized receipt via Hotels.com but never gotten response.

The hotel itself was very nice as was the the room with lovely comfy king size bed and nice showering/bath facilities. However, unfortunately, there was building works outside our room meaning earlier wake up calls than would have liked as they start work at 0730. Front of house staff were really nice and welcoming but 3 housekeeping staff were quite rude in their manor by not putting the guests first. They squeezed into the already small lift with my wife and I along with their cleaning boxes and upon leaving the lift they then obstructed us by opening the cleaning cupboard in front of us making us wait to get past. Minor issues but had these not happened would have been a better stay and better stars given

A centrally located & well appointed hotel, in the heart of the action! A bit noisy with the Pumphouse Bar directly across the street but the good news is that they clearly have to finish up early (by 9pm if I recall) so the noise doesn't last long or late! Friendly staff and a nice hotel bar to relax in at the end of the day - recommended!

The hotel room had no Air conditioner and we couldn’t sleep at nights and when asked about remedying the situation and giving us an extra fan, they said we don’t have any and basically we slept with windows open in 24 degree temperature.

The hotel was in a Central location, close to Tivoli. Our room was large , by European standards and had a balcony. The shower did not drain well, which was an issue. It is an older hotel, and the elevator was very small. I’ve stayed in nicer and worse. So an average, decent hotel

The room was clean and included a mini fridge which was not expected. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was superb. Very convenient location and staff were very helpful. Kudos to Luis and Brian. We had a street facing room and when they had live music across the street, it was a little noisy. We had a white noise maching so you couldn't hear it when we went to bed.

We arrived to find a small room with windows on one side facing a courtyard filled with construction. The workers started early and crushed rocks all day. Sleeping in or staying in the room before 17:00 was not an option without earplugs.
