Friendly checkin. Super soft uncomfortable bed. Bathroom and shower kind of scary. Only one night stay. I did like the adjoining bar/restaurant. Good food and prices. Definitely a local hang out, which is fine with me.

I wish i knew about this place 10 years ago

The hotel is really basic, but clean and a quiet safe place to crash. We really enjoyed the bar and restaurant. Super friendly people and a great patio and pool area!

My towels were covered with black “ dirt@ and I had food all over the floor in front of the tv and drawers.

Room smelled moldy.

The refrigerator door didnt stay closed. The front door needed to be double locked just to stay shut.

Just old they are remodeling at the moment also . Ots your typical old Florida motel. It was fine with me. But I’m from here.

Upon arrival I checked in, the place had a very old dingy feel about it but I was only planning on staying 3 nights. Got the key card to the room and once inside took a look around only to find cockroaches in the bathroom. When I asked the lady at the front desk for a refund 8 minutes after checking in her reply was yeah sorry sir we don’t do that here!

Perfectly affordable motel. Nice staff, average rooms, great pool great restaurant on site. Not for the uppity crowd, but perfect for a normal persons taste

Old motel that is getting much needed tlc. Staff was very friendly. Although the room had a musty smell, it wasn't a horrific smell. The rooms are getting updated and the look is nice. The bathroom could use updates but honestly, it was great for what we needed it for. It served the purpose of a place to sleep while visiting family in the area. I hope to stay here again the next time we're in town so that we can see how it looks then.

A very good stay. While the property is being upgraded everything went smooth.

We had cockroaches in our room and after taking showers the water in the bathtub would not drain. The ceiling light by our bedroom door did not work. We asked to have daily housekeeping and when we returned to our room, our room wasn't cleaned. According to the hotel we left the DO Not Disturb sigh on our door handle, which was not true the Do Not Disturb sign we left on the desk in our room when we would leave the room in the mornings. So upon our return to the room we had to call the hotel front desk and inform them that our room had not been cleaned only to be told that housekeeping had left for the day. There was a 7-Eleven next door to the hotel and when I went in there the store clerk asked me where I was staying and I told her, at The Rodeway Inn next door, she replied to me, "Oh!, your staying at the crazy house. When I asked her why she said that, she informed me that The Rodeway Inn was raided the week before I stayed there, and she informed me not to go out at night by the Rodeway Inn because of the drug addicts that would always be hanging around the parking area at the Rodeway Inn bothering the guests for money.

The pool is fabulous.the staff was friendly, the room was gorgeous.

Hotel parking lot is a magnet for homeless people and meth heads. Cops here 3 different nights. Hotel attendant on night shift June 3rd was rude and very dismissive when I called concerned about 4 Citrus County Sherrif Cruisers outside my room. Stay away!!!!!!

Amazingly inexpensive restaurant...great pool atmosphere.. Super friendly people...totally coming back!!!

Overall the service was great I can't remember her name but she definitely was very helpful during our stay. The food at restraint was good I recommend the pretzel bites hands down only complaint is the door felt like if you kicked it it would pop open.

It was a good place to stay overnight and enjoy the park the next day. The animals were breathtaking. Of course, my favorite animal is Lu!!

I liked how close it was to the Homosassa Springs State Park Adventures. There is a bridge connecting the property to actually walk there. I treated my Mom to a Mothers Day getaway for the weekend. The Roadway Inn is under construction for renovation. But they are still open. There are friendly people at the pool and the bar/restaurant connected to the property. There is always an employee doing rounds to keep the grounds tidy. Plus, the pool is well maintained. The front desk gentleman (KP) was really friendly and suggested different activities to do in the area. I will definitely be booking another stay here for a nice relaxing getaway.

Filthy. Cockroach in microwave. Old nasty food in fridge. Blood stains on sheets. Dirt? On bathroom wall. Dont think bathtub was ever cleaned. Floor was black with filth. Manager on duty wouldn't give me general Manager s name. Was told to go through hotels .com. i spoke with 2 other couples that stayed there with same problem. No reason for rooms to be so nasty. Will not be back.
