OMG...this property is exceptional from the very high end rooms to the fantastic bathroom to the amazing bed. We had a wonderful time and loved the Buda Castle District. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone.

Great location, Friendly Staff, Delicious Breakfast

It is a nice hotel overall, but there are shortcomings they need to resolve. It’s in the overpriced Buda Castle area which is a tourist trap but that’s not their fault. Still, 48 Euros for one night garage parking is excessive. The hotel would be worth the rates being charged, except for never ending technical malfunctions, primarily in their IT systems. For example they’ve charged me an extra night even though I told them it was prepaid thru Expedia…now I have to wait 3 days for a refund. Reversing the charge takes 45 minutes by the manager’s admission. Why? Front desk staff has no visibility into the system, need to get a manager to do anything. Why? Staff is courteous by en large but there are serious inefficiencies. I have stayed at a King Loft suite for $450/night, and at that rate I expect less frustration. The breakfast buffet is overpriced at $28 but it is still very nice for the area. You can save a couple of $$ by buying it directly from the hotel but not much. The rooms have decent and quiet A/C and an icemaker at every floor. Both are still rarity in Hungary. The entertainment system in the room randomly cuts off I guess when the server crashes and reboots.

We stayed 2 nights. Staff were very efficient. Area is fantastic although you will need taxis to go to Pest side. Easy to arrange and meet right outside of the hotel. With Pest and Buda separated by the river, the city was huge so taxis were necessary. Hotel area has very good Jamie Oliver restaurant clise by. Best bugers! Take a scooter tour on Viator and you can see so much. Min age 14. Helmets optional. If coming August 20 book well ahead. Hotel has rooftop bar and is right next to Fisherman’s Bastion where you will see amazing fireworks for this public holiday. Ask for room back side of hotel facing towards Parliament. This side has the best city views. Ask for floor 6. Higher better views. No guarantees, but just ask. Bar has special event so book this day early. We did not before it sold out. Great hotel.

Pretty worn down and does not give a feeling of a five-star hotel. Location far away from city centre and on top of a hill. Parking expensive and hard to find. Rooms a bit dirty (hairs on bed) and staff seem stressed and a bit unfriendly.

We loved our stay here. It was clean, comfortable, and the room was spacious. The location was incredible - we walked right to Fisherman's Bastion, the church, castle, and the Hospital in the Rock. The staff were helpful. Would recommend a room with a Danube view - we unfortunately were not able to be upgraded as it was fully booked. We made up for it by dining on the rooftop restaurant and it was truly the best view imaginable! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Nice hotel at a nice area

It wasn’t as welcoming as many other Hilton hotels I’ve stayed at. Staff was pleasant but just not as welcoming as expected in other countries. It was clean, great location for the Buda chapel but a far walk to the other side of bridge where more attractions & foods are located. We had only one issue of a staff member knocking our door and ringing the doorbell twice at 1:30am waking us for wrong room delivering ice. They need to have a better system for such things. It made me feel unsafe, let alone waking me in middle of my sleep. Also, they did not honor my Hilton membership just bc I booked from third party. I don’t usually have this problem but I did in Budapest. Overall, not great, but good.

The property is located on the castle hill, the most beautiful and visited tourist site of Budapest.

Beautiful hotel with the best views!!! Everything was perfect

Lovely hotel. Clean, rooms a good size and extremely comfortable. Incredible view of St Mattias Church. Staff very helpful. Only criticism is the Sky bar. We went 3 times. The first was great. The second I was alone but couldn’t sit on the sofa area ‘in case a larger group’ came [it was the only seat in the sun] and the final time it was too busy and I wasn’t aware it was either possible or necessary to book. All the hotel information was on the tv in the room and I hadn’t combed through every screen - I assume had I done so this information was there.

Such a fantastic Hilton in an amazing location. Make sure you book the executive parliament facing room with access to the lounge. Cocktail hours 4-8!! Along with small snacks which change each day.

Great service. Magnificent views

Couldn’t have been happier. Hotel is in a gorgeous spot on Castle Hill, room was spacious and comfortable, gym was good, and it is close to a bus route.

I really enjoyed my stay. However, I missed dairy free alternatives from breakfast ( eg bakery, pancake, spread etc.). I think the jams served do not match Hiltons brand; I expected to find jams from local suppliers served in glasses.

Beautiful and very clean hotel, with helpful and professional staff. Great atmosphere inside and outside with lots of coffee shops around. I found parking to be very expensive 50 euros/night.

I had a great stay at the Hilton Budapest. Great hotel, but unfortunately I found the beds hard and uncomfortable for sleeping. Everything else was top notch.

Very convenient. Staff was very helpful with all queries. Room was impeccably cleaned.

We love this place. We had a room that looks directly to the Parlament, what a treat! Take a walk and take pictures in the fisherman spot before all the tours are coming. The roof top bar has the best views, its very cool place, but very expensive and the kids that run the facility have an attitude. Didn't enjoy that Restaurants around have very good food, like the 21 for dinner and Buda Cafe for breakfast. Also there is a nice supermarket within 4 min walk

The facilities are very nice and the staff is excellent.

Hilton is definitely a fantastic option for Budapest. The room was clean, silent and well-appointed. Found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great, if a little chaotic and both the bar and restaurant food was excellent (the burger is superb!) Area gets quite tourist-busy during the day, but it's a really quick walk out to get to the main parts. Public transport is excellent too (use the BudapestGO) app and remember to validate tickets on the QR codes in stations and side of buses Would definitely return
