We had an issue with one of the front desk people but the manager "Marecell " was wonderful and we were very pleased with how she handled the issue.

This hotel has really depreciated. Our room was old and worn and needs updating. There were people screaming in the hallways @ 3am and woke up my children (it took 30 min for anything to be done about it). Our room was next to the indoor pool and smelled terribly of chlorine. I won't be staying here again.

Very spacious, quiet and beautiful room. We got a deal at a very nice place, but on the first floor on the front drive, and breakfast was not included. The attached restaurant was very good, but busy and spendy for breakfast.

We stay here often and it never disappoints. High quality and luxury accommodations for very reasonable prices. The decor and atmosphere are beautiful and connected the hotel is connected to a fancy restaurant.

The hotel is considered luxury but it is not. My room smelled bad, carpet was very dirty and my bathroom was filthy. I had to buy cleaning supplies to clean it. It took the whole day to cool my room down on an 90 degree day on the highest floor. I wanted a luxury staycation on my birthday and it turned into wasted money on my birthday. I could've stayed home.

We loved this hotel! It was clean, convenient, and has a wonderful restaurant with great food and service. Literally our only complaint is that there are not smart TVs in the room. With everyone having access to logging into streaming services from their own devices, it would be nice to have smart TVs or at least a television that would allow for casting to it. Otherwise, really just a top notch location.

We loved every minute of our stay at The Kingsley. The staff was excellent. We loved our room and the pool and both restaurants in the hotel. Joe Muirs was superb. We ate there twice. We used Zalman's restaurant for breakfast and dinner often. We enjoyed the food--especially the bakery items. Overall, we were very pleased with this property and the location and the staff. We will definitely come back!!!!

All the staff are so friendly and kind. The hotel was modern and beautiful. Rooms were clean. It was a great experience. We even got cookies and waters. Would stay again!

The hotel was great! The last time I stayed there was in 1965, and I don't remember th room. I wanted to see it again. Everything was in first-rate order (except the following exception:) the driveway to parking, as I'm sure you're aware, could definitely use repaving.
Also, the restaurant was terrific for breakfast!

This is a very convenient place to stay in the Bloomfield-Birmingham area. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff is excellent. The rooms are comfortable. The bar is small but very cool. The deli is great for breakfast. There is an excellent restaurant next door. Delicious! We will stay again.

What a lovely property. The room was so nice, the bed was comfy, the shower was awesome. Dinner at Zahlman’s was outstanding. Try the shrimp and grits or the chicken and biscuits. We were too full for dessert. Oh and they gave us fresh cookies at check in. A

This hotel was fabulous! We were in town for a wedding in Birmingham and this hotel was perfect for our family. The pool and hot tub were a big perk for traveling with two young children. The room was clean snd comfortable, and the staff was amazingly helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also excellent and we enjoyed many meals there. Definitely would stay here again!

Excellent check in. Even had a driver to take us to our dinner reservation. Property itself has been there awhile but all common areas have been updated. Room seems very comfortable.

The staff was very nice. Our tv did not work and a tech arrived right away. We thought it was fixed but continued to have issues. There was a wedding party on our floor and there was an altercation ai 1:00 am that lasted a long time- that made the stay less than great.

The location, the shuttle service with Rick, and the staff were a pleasure to have.
Zalman’s and Joe Muer being on site was also a bonus.

I had the best stay here! The only thing I regret was not planning ahead enough and reserving dinner next door. The staff was kind, plenty of parking available, the bar was nice and even with a wedding party and plenty of other guests, there were never any loud interruptions.
