View was nice. Large building under our balcony tho. Bed was comfy and tv allowed us access to our streaming stuff.

Parking was only problem

We stopped for a couple of nights after the Browns win and immediately had a pleasant experience. The front desk was quick, efficient, and friendly. We had a room w/an oceanfront unit w/a balcony. The room was nice with plenty of outlets and lighting throughout. The sofa bed was a comfortable place to sit and watch TV. The desk was a nice size to get work done. The balcony had 2 chairs and a small table. A great place to enjoy the morning coffee - the room's coffee was better than average. The view? SPECTACULAR! The first night we met Kason @ the bar. A VERY nice gentleman who knew what he was doing! The drinks poured were great...BOURBON MILKSHAKE? Who knew? The food was a pleasnt surprise. A basket of fried cod & fries, a grouper sandwich w/fries, a breakfast flatbread, and a hot chicken sandwich came out to us and were all very good! The fries were excellent! The breakfast buffet was very nice. They had an egg prep station, sausage and CRISPY bacon, potato, sausage gravy, fruit & pastries. They also had a grits bar! Robin, who took care of us was AWESOME! The outdoor space needed a little attention. The tiki bar was a nice touch, but the hot tub didn't work. The best was the location! Steps from the beach!

The hotel need to much updated. Old carpet, only one elevator es working. No looks like Marriotts Great customer services.

Comfortable hotel with large and clean rooms with balcony and ocean view. Small but nice pool and direct access to the beach. Parking was full at night and we had to park outside. We had a terrible smell in the room at night, like someone was smoking pot, maybe next door. That was very unpleasant. Otherwise the stay was pleasant

Not to Marriott standards. Rooms were in poor condition. One elevator was out of order. The other was barely working. The building smelled like it was damp/moldy. Pool area was very run down, and partly blocked off to balcony construction. Construction was very dangerous. Workers were not tied off, equipment was not safely tied off. Concrete saw blades broke on several occasions, and crashed on the pool deck from 6 floors up. Very dangerous to your guest.

No hot water and hotel/room smelled like mildew. Never going back.

Only one elevator was working for the entire hotel to use

television in the room DIDNT work the first day and night ! we front desk that afternoon of check in and they said nothing could be don't until next day , tv worked 2nd day of stay at 2:00pm in afternoon... we were offered no compensation or allowance for this inconvenience

We had a great time.

The property was nice. Room was pretty, but kind of hot even with thermastat on 63. Great view and easy access to the beach and pool. Sevice in the restaurant and poolside bar was somewhat chaotic. Overall a good experience.

My stay was good but the room air conditioning drowns out the sound of the ocean which would have made my trip more relaxing. Other than that great stay

Very nice with very good staff however I will not be returning due to having to pay $15.00 per day to park my car. As much as they charge for their rooms seems you should be able to park free.

Place smells amazing and is modern. My complaint is that our toilet in our room was clogged on arrival. I called immediately and they promised someone would be up. 3 hours later and 4 calls we finally got someone up to fix it.

Broken elevator major inconvenience Parking limited Cleaning staff showed up at 5 pm to make up room. Too late.

I thought the parking fees were ridiculous not to mention when we went out for dinner and came back the parking lot was full and we had to park all the way in the rear of the property

Beautiful location but a terrible hotel. Wi-Fi only worked when it felt like it. The front desk repeated apologies with no remedy didn’t help the matter. Only one elevator was working, you don’t want to be in the 3rd floor or higher you will have to wait for a while, and worse if you are disabled like me assigned to a 3rd floor. Again the concern was met with more apologies. Any who, never again with this hotel.

Like-The staff was professional and very respectful. Dislike-The rooms could have been cleaner.

We had a great stay! Pool area was a nice Vibe! Rooms were clean with comfortable beds! Staff were very nice and helpful!

Wow! Didn’t have any super high expectations but service and staff really make all the difference in the world! Check in was super easy and fast, we had the best time at the bar with Bryan the bartender who made us feel so at home. Next time I stay in Jacksonville I will be going back to this hotel.

I never write bad reviews but I want to clarify the low scores given in my review. The beach was under construction for 48 hours straight while we were there. It was non-stop beeping and machinery. I believe the crews were burying some type of conduit for storm runoff. I do not blame the hotel for this. They were apologetic and accommodating. Also, the water was shut off to the entire building during our stay so it was like a comedy of errors.

There was a beach reclamation project occuring and the beach access from the property was closed off for most of the time that I was at the hotel. The reclamation machinery was loud. I understand that the project is needed but I believe that my room rate should be compensated because of the conditions.

Despite one elevator being out of order, waiting times were good. Our rate included breakfast which the hotel mistakenly billed us for, when we pointed out the error the front desk immediately corrected the billing.

The hotel was ok but won’t make my list of places to stay again. The staff was very friendly but our room was in some Major need of fixing up. Our handle to the room was loose and would kind of just hang although it did lock. The door leading out to the balcony was very hard to open and was broken at the bottom of the handle. Our floors ice machine did not work and only one elevator worked in the hotel so needless to say we spend a lot of time waiting. Also the fridge in our room only kept our drinks cool and not cold.
