Property was very well kept. Unfortunately we did not have hot water in our shower. And our room phone did not work to call for maintenance to fix the shower.

The staff was outstanding. The food was outstanding. The physical plant needs a major upgrade.

Wonderful location, beautiful grounds. However, the facility itself is very outdated and in need of updating. The rooms are just OK, uncomfortable beds, the air conditioning system was poor, lighting in the room is very dim, and furnishings outdated. The staff is almost nonexistent. One we checked in we walked by the desk several times a day without a word of greeting. The valet staff, however, was excellent and overly friendly and hard working. With a few tweaks on staff courtesy and an overhaul of furnishings both in rooms and resort common areas, it would be much nicer. As it is, we didn't think it was worth the price.

This was our first time there and the staff didn't explain anything about navigating the property. Our room was 1101 and we got on the elevator and it was only 7 floors. The lady in the gift shop let us know we were in the villas and where we would need to walk. They also didn't tell us anything about the shuttle or how to get to the beach. We had to figure everything out on our own.

Would stay again! Possibly the best stay in Florida I have ever had.

Stood in line for almost 1 hour to check in! Hallway to the room was frigid cold, but room itself was hot and uncomfortable. Air vents in the room were dirty, carpet was dirty. Noise coming from the bathroom/pipes all throughout the night was incredibly loud and kept us awake all night. One of the sinks in the bathroom bubbled and backed up with nasty brown water. Really terrible experience.

Lovely stay but my room in the Villas, 1505, seems to have a bit of wear and tear - tired carpeting and well worn shower area.

Didn’t like that someone was able to charge my room a $200 bill from the bar. It was taken care of but should not have happened as well as getting sick for eating at the restaurant.

I love staying here. Everytime we are in Ponte Vedra, this is where my son asks to stay. We have been coming here for years! Perfection in every way every single time!!!

Lovely well kept grounds and pool. Interior is good but in need of updating. Ex. Carpet backing in room was shot. You could here the crumbled backing material when you walked across the room. Weddings took over on Saturday night - inside and out. Drunk wedding attendees until 2am woke us up and kept us awake. Room cleaning - Not enough cleaning staff. second night, gone all day, back to room at 5pm to find room untouched. The night manager responded and got someone to quick clean the room

Property is a little worn, but clean. No help with baggage during check in and restaurant service was sub par. Nice location with dining options and walking paths nearby.

Got food poisoning at hotel restaurant. Lost 2 days of vacation because both my wife and I were sick.

Marriott does it again. Excellent stay. Didn’t like that I had to go outside to another building to go to the gym though

When we arrived at the resort, we dropped our car at with the valet, and unloaded all of our suitcases to take into the check-in desk lobby. When we checked in, we were told that we needed to go get our car to drive to our suite. Went back to the valet, and reloaded our luggage. we commented that it would’ve been nice to know that we were having to drive to our suite, and the valet told us that they did not have an up-to-date list. In the unit, our fire alarm was hanging off of the ceiling by a couple of wires, The tables in front of the sofa were rusted, and one of the lamp tables had a leg missing. The suite smelled very musty. We had to open a door to air it out. The next morning there was a roach in one of the bathroom sinks.

The villa was terrible. Water stains on the ceiling. Everything is old and in need of updates. Extremely disappointing for the price we paid.

1. Took 20 minutes from the time I reached the counter to check in and we were rushed to wedding so never went in the room - forgivable due to training but the agent was not trained enough to serve. 2. We arrived to our 2 rooms at 11pm and one room was 85 degrees. 3. A rep brought us 2 keys to a new room. No offers to help with luggage or direct us to new rooms and we had to carry luggage down stairs and to an enitirely different building at 1130pm. Walked in and it was cooling but immediate smell of must and the sheets were damp. Our children's rooms were the same. We were so dang tired so we sucked it up and slept in moldy damp rooms. 4. 2 small waters in each room (one room was for 4 people and 2 waters) the rooms were a major distance from the main hotel as we were in what was called villas - a nice name for a really old staircase outside door access hotel. NOTHING like a typical Marriott but the charge was $350 per night. Then no reimbursement because we booked thru hotel.com. These buildings need total overhaul or a tear down re build and always keep ac on in florida. We felt like we were in a motel 6. Shame on Marriott for charging this rate just because the address is ponte vedra!

I give the hotel 5 stars. My only complaint was the restaurant food. Overpriced and not that great, but everyone was nice and the drinks were cold. Minor complaint though. There are lots of nice eateries around there, especially at the TPC clubhouse. I would definitely go back.

This is an amazing resort with something for every age group. We had ages 7-67 and everyone had a fantastic time. Excellent food options on property, but also many restaurants close by. The Beach Club is just a quick, free shuttle ride away.

For this price/quality point, the hotel is falling behind. We booked a suite for (4) adults. While it was very roomy, the age is showing. Bathroom vanity legs were rusted, bathroom mirror had built in lighting, but mirror was rolling up from the edges, exposing wiring behind. Tile had been replace to fix two problems, and new tile didn't match
