Perry's is like a home away from home for my family. We have been staying at Perry's for almost 15 years. Michelle is always a familiar face when we return and she is so awesome and a pleasure to talk with. Michelle also takes time to help plan out next trip.

This was our second time staying at this hotel and the experience was excellent just like the first time. The service was amazing by all the staff i encountered including texts from the staff daily asking if i needed anything! Our room was very clean and recently renovated which was a plus. If we needed anything, a quick call down to the office was all we had to do and staff delivered it right to our door. Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning again and again.

We stay here many times a year and always love it. It is old school Daytona at its finest. We loved the kids oceanfront suite with twin beds!

We have stayed at Perrys edge on the past. The last visit was not that desirable. The room was in need of some extra cleaning. The AC didn't work as it should have. The exterior was filthy and run down. Upon check out i voiced my concerns to the front desk. She stated she was aware that she had worked here for 15 years and it was the worst she had seen the place. No offer to contact manager so i could file a complaint. The resort fee for the stay definitely should not be charged.

First, this will personal, the toilet was so low to the floor, very uncomfortable our door didn't close all the way, untill we noticed it, and last of all, we keep hitting our elbows on the shower wall and left there two days ahead of time

So far the room and services are good. But there's no lights around swimming pool outdoor. And no shower to clean the sand before re-entering to the resort.

Just very run down in general. Plumbing issue led to no water on our last day. Unable to shower or brush teeth before check out. Consider a remodel. 400 a night and unable to shower....not cool

The resort was a little dated and beat up. The room and service were immaculate. Unfortunately Daytona as a whole seems to be stuck in the past.

We loved our stay, everyone was so friendly and nice, staff and the other guests. Everything was clean and just so beautiful. The location was perfect for us and there is an amazing sandwich shop across the street. We had such a an amazing view of the ocean and loved that we could just walk out onto the beach. The Tiki Bar was also amazing, the people were just so nice. I will say we only had one encounter with a roach but honestly, it was one and I know sometimes they just pop up and we never had a problem with it. We will definitely be back here. This was the perfect place for us.

We were nervous to stay in Daytona Beach because of so many poor reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised with Perry's. We had excellent customer service, Mary was great! Our family oceanfront suite was newly remodeled, clean, and very comfortable. My son loved the bunk room. (I do wish there had been a door on that, but it really wasn't a big deal.) Great views! These are not complaints, just things we noticed in older reviews that are still true: One of the elevators was still broken, but it really wasn't terrible. Even on a busy weekend we never waited too long. And there weren't towels at the pool very often, but it was never a problem getting more towels from the front desk. The hotel is old and still needs some repair (ie. guest laundry), but we had a wonderful stay with no complaints and we would come back in a heartbeat!

Amazing hotel. Everything is oceanfront, the staff is always good to you, everything is close to the location, and overall one of my favorite hotels. The tiki bar, the indoor pool, the outside pools, and steps from the beach make it all a great price, and a great value.

The only complaint that I have is the floors need to be swept and mopped good. This should be done every time but it was obvious that it hasn't been done in some time. Other than that, it was awesome! I will definitely be back.

Quick and friendly check-in by Michelle. She helped us with directions to our concert and was very professional and friendly. The room was in excellent condition and very comfortable.

Although the room was clean, I didn't love the locking mechanisms on the doors. The outside property was nice. We really enjoyed the stay overall. I would love more kitchen items for use to cook. It was pretty limited. I would stay again. Great location. Many pool options.

Was what expected after ready reviews. Convenient to everything. We rented a car but if no vehicle there are plenty of restaurants, grocery store, liquor store and shopping area to walk to. We flew into Orlando and it was cheaper to rent a vehicle for 5 days then take a Uber from airport to hotel.

The view from the room is great but the hotel is old. The facilities are a bit old too you can tell it hasn’t been taken care of for a while. They only serve donuts for breakfast which is kind of boring after a while.

Checked in to find our room filled with flies. Called the front desk and they were quick to fulfill our request of changing us to another room. [Very pleased with how they resolved this issue.]
We were, for the most part, happy with our new room. Though it wasnt in great shape, we knew that Perrys is a bit rough, but we like the location. Where it went south was the service.
I got my text saying towels and trash would be changed out every day. The first 2 days of our stay we got no towels or trash service. On day 3 we requested new towels and were told they were beinging them up and to put dirty towels outside our door. They took all our towels, but didn't replace them so we had to call back 4 hours later.
This all to say, service was inconsistent. Dont think we will stay here again for our next trip.

It was great for a weekend. 2 outside pools, grills, lots of seating, cute tiki bar. Right on the ocean. Indoor pool and hot tub.

The place looks a little worn but all the rooms have been remolded and all of have kitchenettes with pans, plates, cups, bowls, and utensils proved. Don’t plan on using the putt-putt area at all, however I did see quite a few ppl using the outdoor grills, corn hole, and shuffle boards.

Perry’s was decent! The room was nice. All the pools were open. They were fixing the elavotor when I was checking out! If you have kids I recommend the kids suite!

My wife and I recently stayed five nights at Perry's and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had been eight years since our last visit and the renovated rooms and improvements they've made are amazing. Michelle from housekeeping kept our clean and fully stocked wth towels.
Like a lot of hotels along they beach they're still in the process of repairing the seawall but other than a little less grass it does not affect your enjoyment of Perry's beautiful lawn. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the donuts are the best they've ever tasted. I would highly recommend.
Perry's feels like home and we can't wait to take the whole family back next year!

This was our 3rd time at this hotel. We love its location on the beach since it is quieter on the beach side but still close to restaurants and grocery stores. We had a room on the first floor so we could sit on the patio and enjoy the waves and sunrise or simply take a few steps to be on the beach. The pools were wonderful and well kept and there is a nice area with lounge chairs and tables and chairs for relaxing and socializing. The tiki bar is nice too..great bartender! I did see some families taking advantage of the grills too. It seemed like a great place for friends and families to stay. My husband and I walked the beach everyday. Loved it!

It started out bad when they told us we were staying on the 4th floor and the elevator was out of service. We have a senior dog who can’t climb stairs, so we were forced to carry her up and down every time she needed to go out. The bathroom had mold. We had to wait on clean towels. The “heated” pool was not heated and the hot tub was out of service. The view was nice and we still got to go to the beach, but the hotel wasn’t a place I’d ever stay again.

It was terrible, the elevator was broken the whole time. The "renovated" rooms are worse than in a flipped house, holes in the walls, cheap flooring peeling up, bath tub faucet wouldn't fully turn off and continously ran.

Great location, fair price. Stove didn’t work, had to get clean sheets for bunk beds as they were not changed. Out of the three dryers in the coin laundry, one worked. Outside could use some updating, but overall rooms were good.

Customer service was terrible! The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The amenities and location were fantastic as well. I was just shocked at the lack of customer service skills and friendliness throughout the entire hotel stay.

I came in & I took a look on the at the sheets & some of the pillow cases had hair & some of the sheets had some stains. I had ti ask for new sheets & also when we went to take a shower the water was running cold. I also had ti get some bleaching wipes to clean some of the counters was dirty.

Rather pleased with my stay. Room exceeded expectations, staff very friendly, comfortable and great view and value. Cons. 1 elevator out of service, parking sucked but worked and out of property control, hurricane damage to sea wall and grounds. Still had great time. Must try the donuts.

We were put on the 4th floor elevator was out. Had to carry all luggage up and down stairs. Dogs in the pool area right by pools not on leashes . Floors were filthy

I absolutely loved my stay we got the cottages so as soon as we opened our door there was the beach and the pool. Loved it so much we booked an extra day to stay while still checked in. I call for anything they made sure to come by. We will be back very very very soon.
