Good hotel, nice spacious room, only criticism is the room was not ready and we had to wait an hour to check in . They did give us a free drink, however as check in is 3, I had a meeting at 4 which I was consequently late for as I couldn't check in and leave my stuff.

The hotel was ideally placed next to the Opera house. The NCP car park around the corner offered great value and convenience. Hotel was lovely. Very welcoming/ clean/ breakfast was awesome. Was a little loud and the American lads next door to our family room had a visit from me at 2330 as I couldn’t stand listening about their sex lives anymore (neither could my two daughters and my wife) - but they were top lads and apologised and kept the noise down. So thin walls and a bit of noise but what do you expect from a hotel in the centre of the city. Maybe some smarter deployment of guests - not putting young lads next to the family room but they may have been at capacity?? Overall, lovely weekend. Thank you.

Great one night stay, large room with kingsize comfy bed and nice to get biscuits and hot chocolate. The car park is very small so had to park in thd ncp car park nearby and didnt get a discount code as had to get a app on my phone to get the code but was in a rush and it sedmed like toomuch trouble so ended up paying £35 for 1 night parking which i thought was abit steep. The rooms were very comfy, large with a kingsize bed. We booked 2 sulerior rooms and one was upgraded to a suite for free which was very nice. It was nice to get hot chocolate and biscuits in the room too.

Convenient to Castlefield area, where we wanted to be. Also convenient to Deansgate. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Clean rooms and bathroom.

Great hotel for family weekend break in Manchester. Convenient for the science museum and city centre shopping. Some building work in progress in the area but didn't affect our stay. Spacious room with two double beds. Very good breakfast, fresh and hot (as hotel breakfast often are not!). Good value as a similar price to Premier Inn but definitely a cut above. Only draw back, offsite parking expensive at £20 per 24 hours, hassle of having to download and register for ncp app to get this discounted rate.

Great location, staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and was room was comfortable (beds are very soft!) could of done to be abit cleaner in our room and the bathroom was tired. Parking close by in the spinningfields car park

Our stay at the Marriott Victoria overall could have been better. Our room was on the second floor, Room 237, overlooking the rather grim service yard. We were all woken up at 6.45 a.m. by a delivery truck dropping off supplies and making an awful racket for about 15 minutes. This was the main issue.
Other little niggly concerns were there was no mini fridge, the view was rather bland and used cutlery/empty food cartons outside the rooms. The room was slightly on the small size for a family of four with two teenagers.
The plus points were the large variety of breakfast options and the friendly, attentive service received from Desmond at breakfast. We also appreciated the complimentary bottles of water and the smooth check-in process.

A lovely character to the hotel with the brickwork.
Friendly staff, great breakfast, an upgrade to our room too on checkin.
Love the bar area here too. Had lunch at the bar and would thoroughly recommend!

The rooms are lovely, spacious with so much character. Only little niggles ordered a drink at the bar and the member of staff forgot about my drink. Had to go down to reception late evening as there was no milk in the room. One member of staff was quite stressed about it and was being quite insistent that there was milk in the room (told him there was none and I had looked a couple of times before I’d come down). The other staff were fine got me some milk and apologised

Good location however we came to check in after 3pm and were told our room was not ready yet. We had arranged a bottle of Prosecco for us and there weren’t enough glasses provided. The shower gel wasn’t replaced and was empty. These were all rectified in the end but were inconvenient and shouldn’t have really occurred in the first place.

The hotel was exceedingly clean and the staff were very friendly, accommodating and went out of their way to ensure that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The breakfast was superb. A vast choice of hot food, fruit and pastries. Would most definitely recommend.

Great hotel , nice and clean and staff very polite and friendly ,although it was having work done to the roof so outside our windows was scaffolding , we had to call reception at 1.30 am in the morning as the room next to us was having what sounded like a massive party and was still being loud at 2.30 am so that spoilt it a bit for us

Stayed for one night after a concert at Castlefield Bowl. Nicely appointed comfortable room. The small window and scaffolding outside were a bit of a let down. Bar area is nice and comfortable and breakfast was delicious.
