The hot water did not work in our shower and they said they would fix it and didn't. The floor in the bathroom also had a weird film on it. Other than that, it was good.

The Serta Enrapture II beds appear to be new. They were so mushy--like lying in marshmallow quicksand. My back has been hurting since he first night in this Bounce House mattress. Trying to roll over required much effort to get out of the valley formed when you stay in one position for awhile. The model has been discontinued by Serta. Maybe the hotel got a close-out special on them. The pillows were the opposite-- heavy and hard. My text complaint was greeted with "An engineer will come to check it out." No one ever came. Not fond of the lack of lighting, either. A bare bulb nightstand and hard to reach upper bulb were not much help. That along with one hanging single bulb fixture, which transmitted minimal light were all that were provided, The bathroom and its lighting were very good.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the resort. We honestly didn’t even have to leave the area if we chose not to. The restaurant on site was great! Live music offered a wonderful background to lounging at the beautiful pool and the beach. We loved our stay here and will definitely return. A little piece of paradise and SO reasonably priced!

We were on a road trip and needed a stop overnight. Close enough to the coast we jumped online and found this place. Affordable and right on the beach. Got in about 9:30pm and got dinner and drinks in the restaurant. Staff was so friendly!!! Room was immaculate and comfortable! Water pressure in the shower was 10/10!!! Slept great after driving 12 hours! In the morning we watched the sunrise on the beach, then got breakfast and sat by the pool with our coffee. Food was delicious. Honestly, we were on property for only about 13 hours, but it felt like longer. Really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back for a future vacation. The place was really charming!!

We had a great stay. The hotel was very nice. Our only issue was with noise early in the morning. Food and drinks being brought in at 7am and landscapers with blowers for over an hour before 8am.

Beach house is our go to for HH . Our trip was great . Accommodations great with the exception of the bed , a little too soft for me . The room overall was clean , staff friendly .

Sorry for the book ahead but it’s a honest, full review. Check in and out was easy and the staff are all very friendly! They recently redid their pool and restaurant area and it’s awesome! They also added the Tiki Hut restaurant so there are 2 restaurants on the resort. The pool area is spacious with plenty of chairs and the pool and hot tub are clean. The rooms we believe are next to be re-done, which is needed as you could tell they need some updating. The housekeeping services were subpar during our stay: they would come in and give us more towels but that’s literally all they did. So I’m not sure what duties are in their “tidy service” but no tidying was really done as the beds were never remade (mind you, we never expected new sheets during our stay) and the garbage was never taken out and we were there 4 nights, 5 days…. so unless they deem that a “full service clean” that you had to request for, tidying in my book was not done… aka, subpar housekeeping.. The resort location is fantastic- right off of the ocean and popular beach, Coligny Beach, and a short walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping you desire! It is family friendly so if you’re looking for a place without children, this is not your resort. Overall, we’d likely stay here again if we return to HHI! We did love our vacation!

We always stay here when we come to HHI. Right on the beach, walk to dining and shops, and the Tiki Bar! Live music twice/day every day. Just the best place to be. On site dining is pretty good too.

Location is excellent and enjoyed beach and Tiki Hut access, food, beverages and live music. Hotel didn't seem very updated. Very minor issues in room like the coffee pot leaked, had to exchange TV remote etc. Overall love the location and would stay there again.

The Beach House has updated since we last visited. The pool and the Tiki bar areas have been remodeled. The room were clean, the beds really soft, but the a/c was noisy. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The team there is lovely, though the rooms and hallways felt a little outdated and needed some TLC. I think they’re in the process of renovating, so I’m sure when it’s all done, it’ll be lovely. The public amenities, like the pool and tiki bar are awesome!

We had a great time. Only a couple things that weren’t ideal, but management rectified the situation and made it better. Our AC went out on our second day, so we had to change rooms. They were able to transfer us to a similar room and for the inconvenience gave us complimentary breakfast (which was amazing by the way). All amenities were clean. We enjoyed access to the beach, pool, and restaurants. Drinks and food were pricey (but so is everything these days). The staff was very helpful and friendly. No complaints to speak of!

For the money i spent the hotel room was terrible, needed to be updated. Looks old and worn out. Rust every where. Corners of room dirty and black looking. Toilet , tub and door frame had rust on it. Walls had stain spots.

Wife and I come to Hilton Head all the time. Decided to stay at the Beach House for a weekend get a way. It’s close to food, bar, ocean, live music etc. We were charged 200 dollars food/bar to our room from someone other than us. The bar also charged cc even though we paid cash. So if you’re reading this- pay cash for everything. I don’t trust this place at all right now. Especially when it’s hectic. Room charges for food and bar need be to verified via an actual ID for last names. Especially if it’s 2 different business identities. That’s a start…

Nice heated pool and huge hot tub. Very clean. Great access to beach and Tiki Hut.

We loved the pool area, tiki bar. Activities, and beach access. A wonderful place to stay on vacation. Will definitely be back, and stay here.

This is an older hotel with renovated rooms. Some rooms are renovated better than others. Our first room was in a very noisy location, above the entrance door and by the elevator. This kept us from sleeping all night. We requested another room the next night and were very pleased with this room. The new pool and hot tub deck is very nice! The meal options and also the Tiki Hut next door are very convenient. I will recommend this to anyone visiting for a few nights, but if you don't like the room location, then ask for a different location.

This is my second time at The Beach House and I just love the atmosphere and that it has everything you need on the property. The live music at the Tiki hut is awesome and hotel staff are great. I will definitely be back!

The staff were all very nice. The resort was very nice. The things we didn't like were when we arrived our room had sand all over the floor like it had not been cleaned very well. We felt like the bathroom was to small for two guest. Other than that it was a nice place.

Fantastic property in the best area. Unfortunately we had no hot water for 4 days. They found the issue our last day there.

During our two night stay we received a text advising that the water would be turned off to fix a hot water issue from 11am to 2 pm the next day. So we went and spent the time on the beach. However; we come back to our room after 2pm, covered in sand and sunscreen only to find out after texting the staff, that the water would be off for two more hours, which turned into 4 hours. Needless to say we were not happy with our experience. May I suggest maybe next time at least offer the guest a discount on the room or voucher for a drink or meal. This courtesy would go a long way with your guest.

great stay, took off a star due to a plumbing problem that resulted in no hot water. That said the pool,patioand Tiki bar redo is fantastic. Will stay again.

The water never got hot or cold. They said they were working on it and refunded our resort fees. But also our air conditioning didn’t really work and one of the elevators was broken and sounded like water was pouring inside of it. Rooms were ok, we were told it used to be a holiday inn and that made sense…Tiki bar was fun good vibes but closes at 10 which feels early. Food was so so. Very friendly staff.
