Fascinating memorabilia nice room

The Victory Hotel was perfectly located for exploring Stockholm. The Metro was a few blocks away but most of the sites as well as the boat excursion docks were within easy walking distance. Lots is great dining options just steps away. Our room was large and comfortable.The daily breakfast buffet was large and tasty but tended to not vary day to day so by the end of the week we were a little tired of the options. We found the “Era of the Great Sailing Ships” decor of the hotel fun and interesting. The staff was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location, helpful front desk, good breakfast. Room was a bit small and noisy from the street noise. Next time we would ask for a room facing the other direction.

Modern and nice

Poor internet Only 1 tv station in English Celebrating our golden anniversary or son ordered a bottle of champagne but receptionist could not charge to his credit card and ended up being charged to our room. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was delicious. The staff was amazing, especially Larissa and Zack! On the more quiet side of Gamla Stan. The terrace restaurant.was delicious. No complaints. The Deluxe room was on the top floor. Felt so cozy and homey. Two claw foot tubs! Didn't want to leave!

I enjoyed my stay! Cozy single room just perfect for me. Very comfortable. Great breakfast and Meja and the rest of the staff are so kind and friendly. This hotel is right in the old town and so close to sights. Made for a great stay in Stockholm.

Very warm and helpful front desk staff. The hotel has a ship theme which brings the neighborhood alive. Great open air restaurant on site, perfect for the long Swedish evenings.

Quite a quaint hotel. Rooms and hotel had a lot of vintage character which is unique. I liked the nautical style theme. Breakfast was quite decent as well. Room upkeep was quite good from the staff. Free access to Nordic wellness gym was a nice touch. Being a vintage style hotel, expect that the rooms will be on the smaller side and that is okay. Condition of the property could have been a little better, however it’s to be expected in a vintage style hotel.

Our stay at the Victory Hotel was perfect. The location is great, we walked everywhere. The hotel was clean, our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was great. There is a lot of decor placed around the hotel so there is always something new to see. The hotel offers breakfast and it's not your average breakfast set up - it's so much better! The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. If you plan on using the sauna make sure to sign up immediately, it was already booked for the day when we arrived so we were unable to participate. The bar was also closed the day we arrived so we missed out. We stayed in a couple hotels throughout our trip and this was our favorite.

What a treasure! So close to the heart of old Stockholm while still serene and very special. You will never stay at another place with its decor or theme — and would be lucky to stay somewhere with its warmth and kindness. As a solo traveler, it was great to have the option of a small single room, which was splendid

Great location in Old Town! Unique historic hotel interestingly decorated in historic maritime theme. Only complaint was hotel wi-fi was unreliable.

Great place to stay in Stockholm! Staff was very helpful and the hotel has a lot of charm. Was everything we expected and more. It was fun to see all the ship themed items that are on display in the stairwell. Breakfast was great with lots of high quality options.

A beautiful collection hotel in an old historic building. The breakfast is delicious with a few organic and healthful choices. The hotel uses organic shampoo, conditioner and lotion in the room. The location is very convenient in the heart of the old town. We loved it.

I stayed at the Victory Hotel for 5 nights and had a most enjoyable experience. The room was exceptionally clean and housekeeping was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the towel warmers in the bathroom ...Breakfast items were diverse and plentiful and the scrambled eggs and orange juice were delicious. The location was in the heart of Gamla Stan - walkable to many cafes, shopping and the train station. Staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommend Victory Hotel and would stay here again.

An excellent hotel just one street away from the main square. Such lovely rooms and I love the focus on being eco friendly. Thanks to the staff also for playing Taylor Swift in the reception area the day of her concerts - it was a lovely touch as us Swifties left to head to the arena! I will only be staying at this hotel when I next come to Stockholm and cannot recommend it enough!

Victory is a boutique hotel with tons of charm and an outstanding staff that provide a more personalized service than you get at the bigger hotel chains. The breakfast buffet was in the top 5 of all of our travel experience as there was thought behind what was offered. The hotel has two gastronomic restaurants (separate entrances) and a cool bar inside the hotel. The location is right in the heart of Gamla Stan close to many coffee shops, cafes and sites. A memorable stay.

This is an excellent hotel in Gamla Stan. It’s not cheap but considering what it offers it is a fair price for the money. We stayed here five nights in May, 2024. During that time we experienced snow, rain, winds and warm sunshine. The hotel offered large umbrellas that fortunately protected us from those first two cold and rainy days. Our room was a Captain’s double. It was large, clean and comfortable, although the shower is small. The bed was very comfortable and the room seemed soundproof and well lit. There was ample space for our luggage. A lift from the lobby took us to our room 206 on the second floor. The reception staff at the front desk were very polite, helpful and attentive to our needs. We requested a Nespresso coffee maker (I can’t drink caffeine yet brought my own decaf Nespresso capsules) and received it in our room within minutes. That’s what a first class hotel does and we were very appreciative. The on site restaurant, Leijontornet, serves amazingly delicious food. I enjoyed a marvelous juicy duck dinner while my wife had the equally satisfying pork Milanese. The major highlight was the Tweed Bar & Lounge, a lovely place to enjoy a well poured classic cocktail and socialize with gracious bartenders and local patrons. Unfortunateky, on our fourth night, we learned that this bar is now permanently closed. That’s a shame because it was a major draw for us in selecting this hotel. Overall, I can highly recommend this beautiful, richly appointed hotel.
