The room was falling apart. Room ran super hot or freezing. Both closets had broken doors. No Soap in Bathroom. Toilet wouldn't flush. No Laundry Bags. Paper thin toilet paper and only one towel for two guests.
Breakfast was the bare minimum and the hot food was cold, bagels were stale and the bananas were brown.

The experience was very good. Unfortunately, I was told upon arrival I would have to accept a room on a lower floor. Although, I reserved a king bed room weeks in advanced expecting a room similar to the one I had in the past. I was basically bumped for the larger, multiple guests staying during my long awaited deserved vacation

About 10 families were planning to watch the USOpen tennis in the evening……at the hotel room
Suddenly the hotel’s subscription expired and no ESPN was available!
Also ….tv.Marriott.com was not available fir screen mirroring
So….. if you’re providing something on your TV hotel service …… it has to work …. Otherwise we need to choose a different hotel option

The property is old and a little run down. The shower is a poor design and water runs out of the shower and floods the bathroom floor

The property is in bad need of an update. It's stuck somewhere in the 90s. Otherwise, staff was great and the room was clean. Close to the train station.

Pretty basic hotel. Both pools are closed which was disappointing. Easy to walk to restaurants and the train station into NYC

Except from a completely uninterested receptionist ar arrival the stay was perfect. the recepionist had problems finding the booking and was trying to multitask by serving several gueasts at the same time

The elevators were not working properly . The lounge was lame . Not a lot of personality from the employees… The breakfast buffet wasn’t bad.. got charged for parking in the deck connected to the hotel… with broken elevators… not overly impressed

The Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa was a terrible experience. The king size bed was literally broken. It made a "v" in the middle so that my husband and I were unable to sleep. The elevator in the garage was broken so that guests needed

The staff was so helpful & attentive. They really went above and beyond to make sure all was well.

The garage elevators are currently out of order due to some construction. If you don’t find a spot on the lobby level, be prepared to either drop your bags with the valet, and then park, or park and walk several flights of stairs with your luggage.

The room did not look like the pictures on line. They intentional don’t show the bathroom for a reason. Toilet kept fun the bed was a basically a cot on the floor. It was very uncomfortable. Outdated. Mold in the bathroom. It cost $20 for parking. The toilet continue to run loudly all night.

Staff at check in were helpful and courteous. Beds were comfortable.
Some wear and tear visible. I do not understand showers that have open door and water gets out onto floor. Evidence this is not a one-time thing.

Very comfortable, convenient to downtown Stamford, good value for Stamford. We've stayed in the ultra expensive hotels in DT Stamford and in airbnb's but this is where will stay from now on.

Check in person was amazing. I was having a bad day and her kindness and compassion made me feel so much better.

The stay was overall good but the breakfast policy was confusing. I included 3 breakfast meals during my 3 nights stay and the front desk staff explained a breakfast voucher will cover $35 during the whole stay, but another staff the next morning said I can order $35 each day with one voucher. So I did order my 2 meals (avocado toast, fruit plate and a cup of cranberry juice) and the total price was within $35, but they charged me $12 after my stay.

It felt like an old time hotel. Spa and stores on the main floor, attached garage. And the most impressive thing (which I can’t believe is a thing these days) they actually service your room each day without you asking. Great place to stay

The hotel allowed me to park my 20' ft Uhaul. When there was a mistake and the area designated got roped off, a VERY KIND security officer helped me to figure out how to address the problem and didn't mock me once for not figuring out that I could have unhooked one end! Wonderful person!!
