Safe was friendly. The woman who was working the desk at check out made us feel welcomed and was very helpful. Recommended the Curry Leaf, which had amazing pad Thai. No hot tub but the pool was warm. A Target was nearby, some shabby homes nearby but felt safe. There is gates parking.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. Have stayed at an assortment of hotels rated 8.0 and above during our 5 cross country road trips and this is one of the better ones in regard to cleanliness, quiet and comfort.

Arrived early but was able to check in. The manager on duty was wonderful. She even gave me my points which I’d forgotten I was eligible for. In checking out I left behind an item but was able to retrieve it with no hassle.

The towel rack was broken. The shower fan was extremely loud. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator was great. The breakfast was the same both days and meh.

Ok hotel right on 101. Gated parking. But I didn’t like our room location. We had to exit the lobby building and go outside to get to our room. Gave me a “motel” feeling

We really enjoyed our stay at Clarion Hotel. The staff were friendly, and helpful. The room was very clean and my husband and I slept so well. The beds and pillows were very comfy. The property appeared a little old, but it is definitely well maintained. We would stay again if we visit the area in the future.

For me, it was a quick spot to sleep for 6 hours before heading into Oregon and wasn't bad. The front staff were incredibly nice and made sure I was safe when I arrived very late. It was clean enough, no bed bugs, and I appreciated the secured parking. The sheets looked pretty worn and I did find a very long black hair in one of the beds so I switched to the other which is why I said mostly clean.
Overall, not a bad stay for one night and reasonably priced.

The hotel is an older dated property but the bed was comfortable.
The hot breakfast bar offered eggs, sausages, waffles, and oatmeal. The eggs were really overcooked.
I would not book with this property in the future.

When we made our reservation we thought it was through the hotel not a 3rd party. We wish it was more clear.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. The window in the common room had cob webs around them and needed cleaned.

This is my favorite hotel when I visit family in Eureka. It is clean, safe, and conveniently located right off Hwy 101. The parking lot is gated and well lit, with easy access through the lobby of the hotel. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast in the morning is standard, but always fresh, and the dining area is kept very clean. The rooms are always clean and well stocked with supplies, and the staff is always willing to supply a little extra coffee when asked.
My only complaint (if you can call it a complaint) is the linens have a strong odor of bleach, which can make it hard to sleep if you are sensitive to that. I'd recommend bringing a towel or spare pillow case if you have a problem with that. It's a small price to pay for the security of the hotel and the friendly staff.

Short stay. Very cluttered parking lot. Outside looks nice, room not so much. Room furniture torn and scuffed up. Hair and dirt in bathroom. Found someone’s hair crunchy in the middle of the floor. Bed seemed fine but was nervous that it hadn’t been cleaned. Did get free bottles of water. And breakfast was fine, a tradition continental.

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was less than adequate. Little to no pressure and it sprayed everywhere. Had to adjust the shower head to at least spray ina general area. Breakfast had lost of options if only edible. Eggs burnt and everything else frozen.

I stayed 3 nights. The first two nights I loved the room. Because I decided to stay a third night the room was ok. It was a smoking room and the smell was bad. It was the last room they had. I didn’t think the smell would bother me because my husband smokes. But it was, had to air out the room and spray air freshener. I will never take a smoking room again.
The staff were great. The breakfast was good too. I will stay there again but not in a smoking room. Plus, side there parking lot is gated

Great staff, safe, clean property. The hotel has a security fence surrounding it. It’s a safe place to park your car overnight. What I found odd was the faucet for the shower. You have to push in the outer faucet and turn the dial at the same time to turn off the water. The breakfast was typical.

The staff was really nice and friendly. I like how fast she got me my key. The parking is behind locked gates which is awesome because I really don't have to worry about people breaking into my vehicle. Very clean and I will definitely visit and book again.
