Nice hotel

The hotel and accommodations were great, bead nit as comfortable as id like but thats just me being picky, great location. Food at the crooked surf is bomb

Overall had an amazing experience!

Staff was amazing. They couldn't have been nicer and so friendly. The rooms though, need a renovation and were very small for the price paid compared to other resorts.

Very convenient and love the pool overlooking the beach. Great space for families.

Our stay was wonderful. We at on site most meals and never had a bad one. The room was great and so was the was the staff. It was so relaxing to sit and watch the ocean. I would go back in heartbeat.

We checked in a little before check in time, so we went to the bar to wait, which was fine since we were there early. We got no word about our room being ready and ended up asking twice after the official check in time. We finally got room keys an hour after check in time and when we got to the room they were still cleaning it.

I felt like we were on our own island within an island. So quiet and so we’ll taken care of.

Seems like the Hawaiian Monk Seal are not being left alone from visitors. Hotels must react faster.

Unprofessional, unfriendly staff at the front desk. Sounds like you have to let them know how to do their job, while handling their attitude. Cleaning staff were friendly and nice, but no to the front desk! Overall we enjoyed our time. Its nice if someone cares to pick up the RPI cockroach in front of the elevator.

It was a perfect location and gorgeous view. Nice amenities. However with the price we paid we expected the hot water to work and the refrigerator and to be able to check in on time. They did send someone to fix things but for the price you don’t expect a lot of things to need attention usually lower end motels have that issue.

What did I like about the Sheraton Kauai coconut beach resort. For starters all the staff were friendly and very service oriented. The grounds are beautiful and beach front, (although not really swimmable). Not to worry there are many very close by. I loved the chill vibe, free shaved ice most afternoons and great live music. The ocean view room was well appointed but the balconies are a little small. There are plenty of restaurants and bars. There is game room with great games such as pool, air hockey and video games. All for no additional cost. Not being a huge resort also means not too many people. Not a lot of people means always getting a lounge chair, not waiting to be served for drinks or food and no waiting for elevators. The location is terrific with a shopping center with gift stores, restaurants and a grocery store with in walking distance. Its location also lends itself to exploring the island to the north or south. It’s also just 15 mins to the airport. I for one cannot wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay at this property so much, we plan on returning. This resort offers more than the typical amenities. We loved playing shuffle board in the game room where we saw others enjoying a game of pool and old school games such as pac man. The ocean access is gorgeous and there is a soft section of beach and a shelf of tide pools that you can walk through at low tide. The coconut trees that surround the front of the hotel are home to parrots who fly off at sunrise and fly home at sunset. Watching their departure and arrival felt magical. The staff were also very helpful. We had a red eye flight home, so they held our luggage for the day and booked us a curtesy room, free of charge, so we could come back in the evening and shower before heading to our flight.

Right size hotel- not too big/small

My partner and I had the most amazing time here, the staff and service was exceptional. We learned so much about Hawaiian culture and the landscape of Kauai from the Luau and chatting with locals. The hotel food and drinks were great. Be sure to wake up early to catch the sunrise on the beach, it was stunning!

This was a very nice resort. The bedding was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was we got charged an unexpected 340$ “resort fee” upon checkout. Otherwise, everything was fantastic.

The property is lovely. Great check-in experience. Kai was helpful, professional and super nice. I was able to upgrade to an ocean front room with a beautiful view and the sound of the waves. The other front desk person I'd like to mention is Mikah. He was able to get me a late check-out and since my flight was later in the evening, offered me a hospitality room. Nice to enjoy the beach and pool, return to shower and leave for the airport. Really good experience.

Beautiful Property! Great Service!

Expected more from the service, the facilities and the resort fee due to the price paid to stay here. Whilst it’s not terrible, it’s not 4 star and it’s certainly not value for money by any measure out there. I got absolutely nothing out of my daily resort fee and feel it’s a money grab to have had to pay it - I had to chase down housekeeping everyday (but 1) to get my room cleaned, and the shave ice they offer daily (as part of the resort fee) was only offered for 2 days out of my 6. It could definitely do with some updates and mod-cons like built in chromecast on the TVs on the room (it rains a lot, you’re forced to do some indoor stuff!) I read a review 4 months ago that said the dryer was broken, and on my stay 4 months later….the dryer is still broken. The food options in the resort are sub-par (both cost and variety) so walking to the Safeway down the road was the best option. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to spend a few days where you don’t feel like you’re re faced with high costs at every turn then this is not the place to stay.
