The hotel advertises a restaurant but it was closed due to the holiday. As the hotel was only 20% full they gave me a room as far away from the breakfast as possible with lots of empty rooms near to the breakfast spot. The room itself is in need of some TLC as it is looking worse for the wear.

Quiet room with good bed and breakfast was excellent

Not good. We had several people from the room next door that sat outside the door on the sidewall in front of the room and had a small party. The walls were so thin that we heard all if it all night long. We approached them at 10pm with little effect. Finally asked the hotel management to address it, which they did but it took another 45 minutes to 11:45 pm before we actually got some peace. The room was okay but the walls were just too thin. We will not be going back to this hotel.

Only problem was that they couldn’t find our reservation from Hotels.com. But they gave us a room and didn’t charge us, so everything worked out.

I stay here everything's I'm in town. I love this property & it's employees. Food & dining are always good & pleasant. The only problem with this property is the area around the swimming pool. There are always lots of bird feathers & bird poo in and around that area. Other than that is a wonderful, mostly quiet & comfortable place to stay!

I have book a King size bed and they gave me Queen size. There was lot of noise outside where some people were drinking until 3am. Had to call the front office 3 times.

This place is was perfect! The room was much bigger than most other hotels, was even able to set up my toddlers travel bed. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable. We really LOVED the restaurant that is on the property, food was soooo delicious 😋 the salad bar was great and the full breakfast buffet was perfect! Staff members were super sweet! We definitely got more than most hotels offer. Thank you so much!!!

Property isn't fancy but very clean, staff was extremely nice, and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we've had. It was at the hotel restaurant. There's a nice pool area and the location is very convenient for travelors.

No TP or Kleenex in the room. Arrived late and didn’t realize until the middle of the night. Telephone in the room didn’t work either. when we did get the office they said we could pick it up ourselves in the office. Not much help!

It’s an old property designed like a motel. But it was clean, and immediately off the freeway. I had no issues.

It was not clear when booking that the best western is a motel and not a hotel. Very confusing that breakfast is not at the motel but actually next door at the hotel. Very inconvenient and not explained at all in the description. Also, very stingy on how many people can eat breakfast. They even limit children.

We got there late, the staff was great, the room was clean, QUIET, comfortable mattresses and in very good condition overall. Parking was right in front of our room, no hauling luggage. The next morning the cleaning crew were quiet until we were up and going. No hidden costs during check out. Can’t say enough good about this hotel.

This is an older property that is very well maintained. We were able to park right in front of our room. The room was very clean and the bedding was very nice and clean. The breakfast was delightful. Real eggs, crispy bacon, yummy potatoes, apple turnovers, and more. The staff at breakfast was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this stay!

The motel (yes I said motel) is conveniently located right off the inierstate, it id sn older property but was clean and quiet. No need to carry your luggage through the lobby to the elevator and down the hall. Your car is six feet from your foor. Their breakfast buffy is at the restaurant next door. They had a reslly good buffet and you can even order off the menu. Anything you want except steak and eggs. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were very pleasant. If we are ever in the srea sgain we would definitely stay hete again.

I stay here when I'm in Pecos for work and I'm always pleased at the competence and consistency of the staff and property. I recommend this hotel. It is well kept up, staff are well trained and thoughtful, amenities are great, including the little bar/pub on premises ('Ol Barry's Surf Club), and it's walking distance to the city park. Since I come here for work, being able to drive up to any room and park out front to load and unload is really convenient. I've found the clientele staying here to also be respectful of fellow travelers. Working guys get up early and start their trucks, so there's some early noise sometimes, but it's the oil patch, and that's what's happening.
