Suited for families with children. Not Senior friendly. Mismatch in price & accommodation.

Unfortunately, Rocky Crest looks very tired these days. A pity, because the location is amazing. Lodges show lack of maintenance and haven’t been refreshed since forever it seems

Very good place for families with kids

We had a fantastic time. There was so much to do for the kids. We loved the restaurants on site and the fact that there were different room types to chose from for our different extended family members. The staff were so nice and accommodating. They offer free bagged ice and will take you around the resort in a golf cart as needed. (One night they took the 13 of us to and from the golf course for dinner) They have candy / chocolate / freezies in the reception building. Plus daily activities like games night / movie night. And of course check out the pickleball / basketball / volleyball courts and second pool by the smaller lake. We also went to Chef Henrie restaurant in MacTier - It was outstanding. If you get a chance you should stop in for lunch or dinner. But make a reservation!

We stayed in suite 46 the pull out couch is dirty and needs to be steam cleaned the pull out mattress smells like urin and needs to be replaced. A deep clean overall would go a long way. Otherwise a decent place.

Everything was wonderful at the resort. The only thing I would suggest is a more versatile menu at lunch

Clean and spacious rooms, lots of activities for kids: tennis, swimming in the lake and pool, various boats, fishing

The staff all around were great except at the water sport area where they looked bored and unapproachable. The unit inside was clean and well stocked. There was only AC in the one bedroom the other rooms had fans. One annoying thing was were had to sign into the internet daily. We were there for 6 nights and couldn’t see why that was necessary to do daily.

Lots to do for families - kayak, paddleboard, water course etc. get lunch right near the water. Rooms are spacious and conveniently located. lots of stairs

Everything was excellent…we really enjoyed with water activities like boating paddling & trampoline with obstacles in the lake .. definitely coming back this place next time 👍👍👍

We were charged for full resort fee per night while majority of the amenities were not ready for use even. Otherwise all good.

This resort is dated as other reviews have suggested, the rooms need some updating, carpeting should definitely be replaced and bathroom. The amenities are really nice however, the lake, docks, tennis courts, restaurants and bonfires made the trip. I would recommend this resort if you are going to be spending most of your outdoors enjoying the gorgeous nature that surrounds you.

Not worth critiquing

It's been a few years since we stayed at the Rocky Crest and we had forgotten what a great place it is! We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the wood fireplace, the kitchen facilities, great view and the restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was great!

For 2 bedroom ( 6 ppl. ) 1 bathroom it’s not enough Pillows are horrible TV wasn’t working ( it was fixed fast) Clock and light wasn’t working in a second bedroom It’s more like 3 star hotel. Property is good! Restaurant for breakfast wasn’t good and overpriced

Great resort!

The carpets in every room are absolutely filthy. Bayside grill had awful service and we waited 20 minutes before someone even came by. Overall the whole place just needs an update.
