Excellent location and all very pleasing. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Older facility, but great price and location.

Great spot, room was clean and perfect size. Building almost has that retro hawaiian feel but the renos are a bit half/half. The gardens and fence are a big negative visually and how amazing would it be if attention was paid to those areas. External coat of paint would go a long way. Only one lift operating which is tedious when busy. Parking also very limited. Would stay again though.

It is a reasonably priced and neat and tidy and very convenient to the beach and Amenities

We have been staying regularly for 25 years and am concerned after our last visit when I fell in the car park due to the mess it is now in. My husband also stubbed his toe on the white wood plank coming back in late at night as it was half way across the footpath which I had to push back. We were parked in the top car park and after checking in at 7pm. We went to grab our luggage from the car and found the top gate had been locked and the man on reception didn't have a key to unlock it. We had to go through the shocking bottom car and with luggage in hand I fell in a pot hole and twisted my ankle. Then at checkout my husband had to go up and down the fire stairs with our luggage from Level 8 (along with many other men/women in the stairwell) as only one lift has been working our last 3 stays) as the lifts were full of service trolleys every time we called for it and had waited 20 minutes and gave up. This is not good enough considering the money we spend at this resort!

Very old building although has been renovated balcony and certain areas make me feel unsafe

The location is superb. The rooms are spacious. The building is dated but it comes with a great deal of charm. Enjoyed my stay here.

Great location but not enough parking

The staff could not have been more friendly and obliging. We had stayed there years ago, and vowed never to return but when we saw that they had done a refurbish we decided to give it a go once again. They have done such a wonderful job with the refurbishment. The rooms were very small but we found that there was just enough room for my husband and I. Would love to stay again (once the traffic abates on both roads i.e. Gavin Way and Gold Coast Hwy) down to Coolangatta.

The location of the property is great. Walking distance to amazing beaches. The room was tired/old, but clean and comfortable.

Finding the property was not easy - the giant letters on the awning of the property are for Greenmount Hotel, and we only discovered this after calling the property to check. We checked in after hours and had to utilise the intercom. The speaker is broken and the volume of the call was so soft it was hard to hear instructions. The room was reasonably clean, but the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. A very large hump in the middle of the bed from where they joined two mattresses meant we slept poorly and woke up sore. The location is really nice, and convenient to restaurants and the beach. The decor is okay, but the popcorn ceiling is very dated. I'm not sure that I'd recommend the property, unless it was cheap and there were no other options. Which is a shame as the location is so good.

Good valiue for money. Rooms tastefully refurbished. Foyer very nice. Exterior dated. Bed in family room we stayed in was a bit hard.

Close to the beach (5 minute walk), shopping and eateries.

Shower head leaked. Shower water was just warm . Didn’t mater how much I turned up the water it remained just warm. Didn’t turn on cold water tap at all

Fantastic hotel great value is an older lace but has been done up so well I really enjoyed this place and would highly recommend!

Always have a fabulous stay and this hotel will be dearly missed in Coolangatta when it closes.

Room was big and clean but property in general is old and needs a big referb but for the price and location it was good value.

Great price and close to town and the beach

Our room was really and the view was gorgeous. The toilet seat was broken and the bathroom in general was tired (the silver hooks painted black with the paint chipped didn’t help) Staff was super nice. Great location, close to everything

Prefect position, clean Will be back for sure

The hotel is in an amazingly location super close to the beach. There are lots of other great beaches within a short walk. Close to a cafe and a surf club. The pool was not heated which was disappointing.
