Very nice surrounded by streamingmetoder water in the middle of the old part of the town. Lüneburg is a little hem.

Our main reason for booking this hotel was the proximity to Hamburg and it was within walking distance to the train station. It's location on the river was picturesque and it was close to all amenities and restaurants. Parking whilst provided was difficult, as parking garage and parking spots were extremely tight, even for a small car. Rooms were average size, which is understandable for an older building, but the beds were absolutely awful (sagging) and uncomfortable. There was an indoor swimming pool that was beneficial after a day of sighseeing.

Hotel complex is like a maze and it took me a while to find reception due to lack of signposts. Only complaint about the room was that the pillows were too soft and gave no support and the duvet was way too thick for summer. Good AC in the room. Breakfast was good.

Everything was good but when I ask for information at the hotel they just want to sell their own stuff. Like when i want a specific food they cant recommend anything except their own restaurant which does not have what i want.. this is rhe same patern.. the employes are not helpfull or have little knowledge of the town

This commentary is based on our second room .The first room was situated in another building,connected to an event hall.It was not clean,had no functioning A/C,and had french balcony,but closed,and adjacent to a backyard with some kind of industrial building. We changed rooms for our second night Our second room was excellent, friendly personnel,very good breakfast,all well!

The Bergström Hotel is a charming, clean and very friendly place to stay in Lüneberg. The hotel is easy to find location, near steps to the Altstadt with access to many restaurants and shops. We would recommend and stay here again.

Very lovely hotel room and close to the town centre. Beautiful building and we enjoyed the piano player in the evenings in the bar. The bed was very soft and comfortable but my side of the bed did have a dip in it. Lovely strong shower. Will be staying again!

It was excellent! Spacious rooms and amazing hotel area. Easy and nice check in and out. Close to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was the best in a long time!

Amazing hotel with a resort atmosphere. Saunas were free, the refrigerator contained free beverages (including one beer) and the reception area had some small free pastries after the morning breakfast had been served. The stay was a true treat that made us feel special. Oh, yea, the view and location was amazing! Book it, you will not regret it.

This was a very very nice experience. The staff was more then welcoming and we nice chatt during our check in. The room and bathroom were a little bit small. But this was out weighted by the excellent bed and terrific view! The dinner was also top notch as was the breakfast! I will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous location, hotels facilities are excellent, ther rooms are fab and views and gorgeous. We will come back for sure.
The xmas drink set-up outside was amazing but far too pricey.
We had a meal in the Marina cafe, very expensive, my partner food was inedible, it was like eating food dipped in corosive acid, and my choices gave me a night on the toilets.

Cannot fully rate. I needed to cancel and ti was impossible for me to understand how and if I was getting a refund. The concierge sent me a message on Expedia after I contacted them, telling me to send an email. After I sent the email they told me to contact Expedia. A waste of my time.

The hotel complex, overlooking the city and the river is beautiful. The reception staff are weak and incompetent. Housekeeping is very poor. Dusty floors and furniture, unwashed mugs left in the room. Only changed when reception staff told. Coffee supplies not replaced.
The hotel needs committed, hardworking, professional staff who are well trained. The current staff are hopeless and let the beautiful hotel down.

Check in was a breeze and the guy at the desk was fantastic. He spoke perfect English (although my German is pretty good) it made the check in easier. The town is a fantastic old town. Get the breakfast, great selection!
