Area is remote and the spa is outdated. There’s not much to do at the hotel most activities require leaving the premises. The hotel is well suited for as a travel stopover to other destinations .

Property was beautifully located by a river and was so peaceful and quiet. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Pool/spa area was lovely and very relaxing. I would definitely stay here longer next time.

Beautiful location, exactly as I was hoping it would be. 5 star hotel, 5 star service. Friendly staff went out of their way to make sure I was happy and taken care of. I did the horse riding and falconry activities and both were superb. The hotel is an easy walk from Kenmare town, and the hotel arranged for a ride for me to the town after I checked out. Food was delicious. I had afternoon tea as well as breakfast. I would absolutely recommend Sheen Falls Lodge, and will stay here again on my next trip to Ireland. Love it.

Amazing location, staff and food. 2 nights was not enough and you never have to leave the grounds to experience breathtaking scenery, world class food and a great pint of Guinness.

Simply excellent, service is perfect and the grounds are beautiful. Bed is comfortable and breakfast is tasty.
Deep tissue massage is not very deep and probably not worth the money but everything else was just great.

Wow!! Loved this resort. Almost sorry I had plans to go out and see surrounding area as I wanted to just hang out here. The views of the falls were fabulous— right from our room too.

What a beautiful location. The grounds are stunning and the waterfall is absolutely lovely. The rooms are very large and they are very welcoming to children. We enjoyed the very large bathroom as well. We were welcomed with wine and cookies and the front desk staff even escorted us directly to our room. Great service.

Money has been invested in restoring this fine hotel to the high standards that we had become accustomed to.
The Pool/Jacuzzi areas still need some further investment.

Location excellent. Room service 80 mins and forgot 1 dish. Customer service poor. Waiters slow and not attentive. Could not get a dinner reservation bar unsociable hours. Only 1 slot available In spa for 1 treatment option only despite booking 24 hours in advance

The most beautiful location with excellent services. We had a waterfall view and did not want to leave! Not all the activities offered by the hotel were available probably due to COVID and the off season but what was available was excellent. The Falconry adventure is a Must Try! The afternoon team was also excellent. Would love to visit again in the future.

Really lovely place to go to completely switch off for a few days. Equally lovely town and surroundings if you get good weather to wander around. We were staying there during a storm but were happy to be indoors.

Staff were totally engaged all the time and always on hand to help. The breakfast was great as well, and it was far and away the best hotel breakfast fry/grill I've had in Ireland and UK. the walk around the grounds was enjoyable too, despite Storm Atiya bearing down and the cultural site adjoining the hotel brings to bear the area's place in the History of Ireland. Would stay again at any time of the year.

This was one of the best places we’ve ever visited. The scenery was lovely, the service and the food was impeccable, and the place just has that special feel. It was magic. The staff was also very helpful in assisting our group with our travel plans and we all enjoyed our time very much.

The grounds are lovely, but the room was disappointing for a five star hotel. It was grubby, the floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked, the bath panel was in a poor state of repair. The flag stones on the veranda were unstable. The carpets in the dining room were worn, with the joints a particular eyesore.
Too many managers visibly standing around and getting in the way of staff. I left a written review with the receptionist on our departure, but did not hear from management. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and poor value for money

Beautiful resort close to the ring of Kerry and ring of Beara. Amenities including pool and sauna are nice after a long tiring trip. Beds are comfortable and rooms are very spacious with great views. Great breakfast varieties. Excellent service. I do not recommend for children
