The Super 8 Deadwood is a perfect little hotel. The staff are always very friendly , and the morning carmel rolls are the best ! The beds are comfortable and we enjoy the trail next to the creek. The only thing that we would change are the shower heads. The bathrooms are all redone with newer tile, vanity etc … but it appears they kept the old 1980’s shower head.

An amazing room! Clean and roomy and the bed super comfy. We coulda used a small bottle of lotion. Coming from the south, we forgot how dry the west is. But, that babbling creek right outside our window made everything just perfect! Thanks so much!

My past experiences with Super 8 motels, including 2 others on this trip, are not positive. That is not the case with this location. The Super 8 in Deadwood is outstanding. A tranquil setting, with easy access to the hiking trail along the creek. Exceptional staff, always so helpful. This is one of the better stays on my many road trips. Keep up the good work...

The staff are good it was alright for 4 days. We paid over 500 dollars a night during the Sturgis Rally, I don’t like that for that much money, they don’t clean your room, take out the garbage change towels unless you requested they still say Covid is the problem.

I would be lying to say I wasn’t worried about booking a Super 8…but this property completely changed my mind. The room was updated and clean. Staff was friendly. It was conveniently to have a Trolley stop out front. Parking was easy. I would definitely stay here again!

Room was good. Hotel staff was friendly. Casino staff stood around and visited each other, always had to wait to cash out a ticket for them to finish their conversation. Getting a drink was even worse. Only had one drink in 2.5 hours because every time I went for one, the staff was always visiting each other and either never noticed me standing there, or didn't care. Homemade rolls at breakfast were excellent. Pool was good.

The front desk person was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was better than normal for a Super 8. The hotel was clean and the stream-side location was nice.

The kids loved the pool! We were able to check out the trail behind the hotel a few times for walks, which was really nice. The room was quiet and clean, just what we needed after a long ride. Pizza was delicious and great continental breakfast too. Trolley system worked great to get downtown!

Was disappointed pool was closed as that was the main reason we paid a little more for this hotel instead of cheaped for a hotel with no pool

We loved the clean and comfy rooms, and everyone was so friendly. There is a beautiful deck to see the beautiful creek, but most of the time we couldn't go out there, because they place ashtrays on all the tables. So that promotes all the stinky smokers to go out there and stink the place up, when they could go into the Smokers Lounge that is provided.
Please remove those ashtrays out on your deck!!!

Pretty nice place. Had a fridge. Hot tub was like getting boiled alive. Everyone had to sit around it with feet hanging in. Couldn’t stand being in the tub. The male front clerk was rude. Gave me a hard time about my zip code and was rude to the people checking in before me snapped when I asked for the hot tub to be turned down. For a super 8 the rest was good
