its an inexpensive motel in Tucumcari NM. nothing fancy , but clean, Mike( nice guy ) front desk/ manager/bartender makes a mean Jack and Coke.

The owner was rude and told me that my dog should not be a service dog. He told me he didn’t care it was a service dog and was going to charge me extra for the dog. He lectured me for like 15 minutes about my dog not being a service dog and didn’t even give me the chance to defend my self on why he was a service dog.

It is a motel. For 70ish dollars. It was pretty decent. It was clean and comfortable. We had a pickup truck with stuff in the back, and we were told nothing happens here, and true to his word, nothing happened.

Picked this hotel by chance but Mike, the manager/bartender, was very friendly and helpful. He has a full bar and helped us find food. Room was very clean and even had a small refrigerator and microwave.

Older motel, but very clean. Owner very nice and eager to please. The bed was firm but not hard, perfectly comfortable. No stupid hot memory foam. Cotton sheets, not the synthetic junk a lot of places are using now. The room was dark and quiet. We travel between Kansas City and Phoenix a couple times a year. I think this will become our go-to halfway stop from now on.

Despite choosing the option to pay in advance when booking, the hotel charged me upon arrival and added a pet fee that was not in the hotel description.
The room was not ready to have guests. All appliances were unplugged and the room was easily 85 degrees. it took 4 hours for the tiny AC unit to bring the temperature into the 70's and never got cooler than about 75.
Pillows smelled like vomit.
Window on the first floor did not lock.

Place seemed deserted, no secondary door lock on room that opens to parking lot. Booked because it was rated 8+ but it was not an 8+ at all.

It was a bit hard to find since the address listed in the booking was incorrect. We called and were given directions. It is old but very well maintained from the outside. Inside was clean but extensive upgrades.

Like most of Tucumcari this place has seen more properous time. It is large, maybe 100 rooms but when we pulled up we didn't see any other cars. My wife wondered what we were getting into! Which was strange since when we booked it said only 2 rooms left. However, the property and the room was clean. The person that checked us in was very friendly. By 10 pm there were 5 other cars there. Was a good choice for the price.

My husband and I had a pretty bad experience in New Mexico on our road trip honeymoon, but this historic motel redeemed it a bit. Check in ended at 10pm and we almost didn’t make it, but our host was pretty friendly. The room was large and relatively clean. Additionally, the old Route 66 strip is pretty quiet now but cool to drive down and you can definitely find a diner or two to eat at among the neon lights.

Bath tub and sink had white soap scum in it. Coffee pot dried coffee all over. The entire room smelled indescribable. Property should be condemned.

Very clean! We were driving through to see the eclipse and had such a good experience, we stayed here on our way back as well. This is not the Taj Mahal by any means, but I have stayed in larger, more expensive chain hotels that were not nearly as clean as this little motel. The owner is great, and you can tell he takes pride in his business.

Easy check in. I would say this isn’t high scale or for Karen’s who complain about everything. It was comfortable, roomy and great for the price. If your nose is up in the air move on this is definitely not for you. I enjoyed my stay, the guy at the counter made it so easy and pleasant for us to stay. No complaints. Vintage old but super clean!
