I really enjoyed this hotel. The area is really nice and there is plenty to do in the area. We missed the breakfast which looked to be ok. I would stay here again. Im annoyed about the iron. There was red stuff on the iron that got on my shirt

Ok property. Could have been cleaner. Maids more attentive since we had to go down to desk and get our own sheets and blankets. Small ants were in the room. Breakfast selection and quality very poor. I would select this hotel if my first two choices were not available.

Everything was average at best. The buffet was very limited. Not the same Springhill suites.

The property was a bit dated. Also, there were youth in the hallway making a ruckus for hours.

The staff was exceptional on all days except Sunday morning. Maybe they were tired and stressed, as it was very busy and crowded that morning.
The breakfast was always too crowded. They could not keep up with the coffee, and had to tell someone at the front desk that BOTH pots were empty.

The staff at the Springhill Suites in Gaithersburg made it a five star stay. We were contacted ahead of time about our plans for our stay and to see if there was anything the staff could do to make our stay more enjoyable. When we checked in, I was greeted by name and assigned a room on an upper floor, which I had requested. The room was large with a small kitchenette, a desk, couch, and a separate sleeping area. While the furniture was a bit old, it was quite comfortable.

The quality of the hotel is good, the staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is generous.
Our stay was spoiled by a fire alarm at 4am on checkout day.
We were told to leave our room and basically packed and exited via the stairs. This was a challenge carrying heavy bags from the 3rd floor to our vehicle. Pools of water had accumulated from sprinklers in the building. We were able to find alternative accommodation for the remaining hours.
This definitely marred our stay in Gaithersburg.

I took my nephew to DC to see all there is to see. We stay in Gaithersburg and took the metro everywhere. The Hotel was great, clean, quiet and near everything. We had a blast! thank you

We returned from our day’s activity and found our room was never visited for fresh towels nor the bed being made. I would expect more from a Marriott property. Amazingly enough the front desk explained we needed to request our room to be cleaned!! Since when??!! Is this a new policy for Marriott?

Clean, spacious, and comfortable room! I particularly enjoyed having the small sink/fridge/microwave space, though I wish the fridge had a small freezer section. The TV was mounted on an arm that enabled me to watch from the couch, or the bed, which I thought was a nice touch. I didn’t care for the pillows on the bed though, they were not good for side sleeping.

It was an easy check in and the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We were just passing through for a night and we got our beauty rest. The property was clean and offers a good variety of hot breakfast. Will stay again.

Excellent stay!! The check in was smooth and guick, the room was very nice. If I have one complaint it would be limited tv selections, mucsic or movies.

I’ve stayed here multiple times and it’s excellent each time. Friendly staff. Very clean. Walking distance to the local Rio and Downtown Crown areas. Free parking and breakfast included. Can’t beat it!
