Received an excellent check-in service, the lady (Esther) was very sweet, friendly and helpful by introducing us how to get to the Opera House, Peddy’s Market and some other tourist attractions. The room was nice and clean, no balcony but with big windows for the view & sunshine. Only disappointed was their laundry room was out of service.

Impressive lobby presentation but the beds were very uncomfortable. Mattress on double beds was almost impossible for two people to sleep in due to the lumpiness and valley in the middle.

This was a couple of nights after an overseas trip before flying back interstate.

The only good thing about this hotel is that the bed was comfy and the room was clean. There was no wifi access in the room and when I went down to the lobby the employees were not surprised and said that this is a common issue. The mini fridge was opened upon arrival and had nothing in it. The room service was unable to provide water bottles. The ice machine on our floor was broken. When the restaurant closes the employees claim there is a late night menu you can order from, wonton noodles, nothing else. One of the reasons we stayed at this hotel was the shuttle service, they don’t tell you that it’s $40 per person to use their shuttle. Our uber was less than $15. Very disappointed in this hotel. Had high expectations from others reviews, but never staying here again or recommending it to others.

Hotel restaurant is very good and moderate to expensive priced . I would have really liked a coffe shop in the hotel for a coffee and pastry in the morning. Kingship coffee shop near mascot station was fantasic . Best coffee ever. Amazing cappacino art, great pastry and nice breakfastcand lunch options.

Only booked there because close to the airport and we had an early morning flight. Staff very helpful. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Restaurant down stairs had limited menu and was over priced. Shuttle bus was affordable and easy.

Convenient location to Sydney Airport with spacious rooms and availability for leaving the car there for short trips. Argentinean style restaurant has mainly meat on the menu but we enjoyed a fish dish.

The Stamford is as advertised - an airport hotel. The room was spacious but rather dated, unfortunately the TV did not properly work. It is certainly convenient to the Domestic Terminal! Check in was slow and staff insisted on taking a $100 deposit, despite the fact we had already eaten and there is no minibar in room - which seems like a shameless moneymaking tactic on a 1 night stay.

Generally everything in the hotel was good. Check in was super smooth, except the check in person was stand-off ish. The room was nice and clean.
The main issues for us was the bathroom. The shower was over a bathtub and the drainage was a problem, the would collect water in the bathtub and very very slowly go down the drain. It seemed that something g may have been stuck causing the water to linger and not drain properly. We did inform the reception who sent someone upstairs to confirm that we were telling the truth and then offered to move us to another room. We were only staying for one night and had arrived late so decided to stay in the room.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel. Close to the airport so you can walk over and they had a good spread for their breakfast

Too busy for their own good. TV not working and staff too occupied to rectify. Car park is quite a nightmare to navigate and find any spots.

Location great for domestic airport and train (walkable). Everything is "fine" but it's a really dated hotel. The bathrooms, decor and furnishings feel like from the 1990s.

The negative parts of our trips were the TV reception was terrible. We order room service a pizza and honestly it was the worse we have ever eaten and didn’t bother finishing as arrived cold and no flavour

Terrible bedddding for a 5 star hotel… very noisy..
The day of departure I called the reception and asked the staff to call a cab for the airport, the lady at the reception literally refused to.. even I double checked the night before and got told there would be no problems if I called them!!
