Beautiful hotel. The pool, property, and breakfast were so nice!

Everything was great! The only thing is… they charged a hundred bucks for our pets to stay. We evacuated from Milton and this was the ONLY hotel available, and we got the last room (several hundred miles away from where we live, which was in the direct path of the hurricane). Why, in a natural disaster, can yall not waive pet fees?! This is why people leave their pets behind in storms! It costs a small fortune to evacuate. Do better, Best Western.

Love this place! Employees are all super friendly and helpful. Room is clean. Pool area is nice with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Basic breakfast, but good. Pet friendly. Definitely my go to in st Simon’s island.

Nice place to stay and the pool is beautiful.

Newly renovated and everything looked great. There was some dirt and trash on the floor, but nothing major. Loved the openness of the room with the barn door. The bed was aweful. Way too hard…came home with a backache. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

We are assigned the handicap room The blinds not working, we had to use thumbtacks and fabric to cover the window TV only show commercials and no cables

The location was very peaceful and conveniently located, great for pet owners especially. The staff was warm and friendly each day, really adding to the stay. The pool and hot tub were also very nice. Breakfast every morning was well made. Overall it was a great stay.

Check in was horrible The front desk put us upstairs telling me my room would be above the lobby . I asked for a room close to elevators as my Husband has Medical condition. 91*f humid my 80 year old Husband and I parked the car at the entrance between the buildings as the desk clerk suggested. She put us in room #222 upstairs and pointed to exactly behind the lobby area where they serve breakfast and said this is where the elevator will be. We walked with our luggage all the way to the back outside corridoor facing the pool looked for the elevator it wasnt where she said it would be. We walked all the way back to the corridoor between the blds. I went all the way around looking for an elevator My husband is short of breath and overheated. It was very irritating. I finally asked some nice passerby if they knew where the elevator was and directed me around and up a ramp to the left. No where near where the Front Desk pointed. We get up to 2nd floor and walk east back toward front desk which is below. very long corridor nothing yet. It has to be down here in front hall closer to where the elevators were No signs directed us to which room went left or right as other Hotels do. Finally I open the door. Yey air-conditioned room. My Husband was still struggling to get down the walkway from above the lobby area. The room was towards the other end of the bld. by the stairs and elevator Room wasnt even clean. We walk back around to elevator back to lobby She apologies gave us 103
