Good reasonably priced hotel.

The place could have been cleaner. The room had a weird smell n so was the hall ways

It’s a good place to stay, quiet and nice and affordable

Decent hotel for the price. It was located close to the beach. I just didn't like the community. There are lots of homeless around and living in the riverbed.

There were ants in the bathroom, and algae/ mold in the sink.

The first room I was given, on the first floor, was absolutely disgusting. There was algae in the faucet knob, the carpet was damp, and there were gross stains on the drapes and the bench in the open closet area. I asked for a room change, and the manager was extremely kind and accommodating. The second room was a huge improvement. When I needed to leave a few days earlier than planned, the manager was very kind and offered a refund. The management of the place is wonderful, but the indoor portions of the property are in pretty bad shape. The pool seemed nice, and the landscaping is lovely. It's a very mixed bag.

The bathroom especially the toilet was not clean. Tears in the curtains that let light in. Found a large bug by the bed. Musty smell.

Room wasn't clean, alot hair in the shower , carpet wasn't clean

The place is not safe, the room was dirty, the floor mat was stained, and it had a strong bad smell. the furniture was old. The pool was horrible, the water was dirty. They were washing the stairs and the dirty water was running into the pool. This was horrible

Not great. Was unable to sleep. Parking lot lights were on all night and shown into the room so it wasn’t dark. Room was next to the elevator so you hear it. Had to unplug the refrigerator because it made noise. Bathtub faucet leaked.

I liked the parking and view but the bed sheets smelled like there have been dogs on them and not well washed. My girlfriend and I had to go buy febreeze for furniture. Other than that everything was good.

My worst choice and experience ever. Made a mistake going low budget and will not repeat it again.

No pool towels, no in room telephone so you can't reach front desk if needed. On the upside I got ocean view and it was amazing views , very spacious room

When reading the reviews for this hotel, it was not good. But I decided to stay because there were reviews about the ocean view Rooms that were quite good. Because this is the one night stay thought I’d try it. When we got there, I went over and looked at the room and it was very unsatisfactory! So I went back to the office and asked if there was another room with an ocean view. She flat out said no there was not. So I gave up and went back to the room at which time I decided to take a shower because we had been at the beach all day. There was a dirty washcloth hanging on the top of the shower curtain. That pretty much did it for me. So I called the front office and spoke to the same young lady about the washcloth. Let’s just put it this way, She was rude and had an attitude. Not only that she hung up on me twice! My husband and I decided to check out. I went up to the office and let her know how unhappy I was with her disrespect of me. She then began to argue and talk over me when I was just trying to get her to at least apologize and treat me as a customer should be treated. I have never ever had such a bad experience! I asked to speak to the manager at which time she said I am the manager. I hope that anyone who reads this will take into consideration what has happened to me. She did, however, refund us for that night.

The room was dirty the bed smell very bad the bathroom was very dirty.

Nice place to stay by the beach

Staff was friendly. Despite keeping the do not disturb sign on the door, each day the room was entered while we were away. This felt like a privacy violation.Floors are not adequately insulated for sound. Facilty was dated but maintained. Location was great for walkimg to restraunts and the street fair.

As the title says, it is an OK place except for the cockroaches. Didn't notice them until I came in late on my second night. The worst part was when I was packing on the next morning and found one in my luggage. Unpacked everything to be sure I wasn't taking any with me to my next two stops which would be with family. I didn't want to bring them any unwanted guests. If cockroaches don't bother you, then it is an OK place. Bed was comfortable. It seemed clean. Carpets were worn in places. I had a first floor room so I had a little patio I could have enjoyed if was there other than for sleeping. A group of kids was really enjoying the pool. It certainly is in a convenient location for getting off/on the freeway and for seeing Oceanside. Assuming the staff will read my comments, I did not report the cockroaches when I first saw them because it was late at night an I needed to get to sleep. Nor did I report them the next morning when I dropped off my key because nobody was at the desk.

I stayed here four nights in mid July. This was a very uneventful stay - nothing bad happened - the room was clean. The hotel seems like it is on the old side, but, the room was fine. The staff was friendly - very good place for the price and I would stay there again.

The desk manager, Mona was very kind, helpful, and friendly. While the place is older, I believe built I the 70’s, the room given me was clean and well-kept and my stay was nice.

Dirty ,lack of towels ,dirty linens, unsafe stairs, unworking ice machines, floors in hall dirty, looked like they had never been mopped or vacuum. JUST PLANE DIRTY

Excellent location for convenient proximity to the beach, but the property was run-down, the rooms were in disrepair; an update is badly needed, or at the very least better maintenance of the rooms.

It’s ok for few days

Our first room was very dirty very old and had a terrible odor halfway through the first night. The electricity went out and they had to move us to a better room thank God.

Very dirty, smelled bad, and staff was very rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
