Nice hotel in a good location.

First time in Sweden. Check In staff was so helpful and changed our room to accommodate us. A beautiful historic hotel. Highly recommend.

Good place which I always stay during biz trip.

Absolutely lovely hotel, staff was incredibly nice. Breakfast buffet was excellent. My stay was a quick business visit, but after staying there i intend to go back to the Alingsäs Grand for a personal trip. Wonder historic hotel and charming town!

Location of the property is at the very center of the city - probably 2min away walking from the train station. Room very clean, and staff very friendly. Only downside I had with my room is that it feels a bit old and the water coming out from the basin is not hot enough - the water for bath no issues and very hot.

God clean and quiet room

We booked a room at grand hotel and ended up having to walk out of the beautiful grand hotel to walk around the block across the street to another location called "lilla hotel" it felt very low class to have to leave the main hotel to go to another location without being informed during our booking and the staff was not very informative why this happened to us. Still not sure why as when checking out we were not asked by staff how are stay was. On the breakfast we unfortunately missed it. We were told it was until 1030 when in fact it was only until 930. So when waking up at 930 and then having to make the trek to the main hotel. We were to late. Very early for a holiday day it was 31 January. We have friends that live in Alingsås pretty sure next vist we will look at another hotel even though it was super comfortable and clean. We felt a bit unwelcomed and mislead on more then one thing.

Clean, and very good service, the complimentary breakfast was excellent with a variety of foods to choose from, they were flexible with me as tired and weary traveler from the U.S. to check me in early and check out a little late after the 12 noon checkout

Convenient stop off for an early flight in a lovely location. Clean and comfortable. Staff really friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, it was very noisy outside until gone midnight so we had to close the window and then got too hot.

I frequently have used this hotel for business. It is good staff and nice breakfast every time. The space is sufficient good enough for me. There is not so famous sight seeing place but a lake is located nearly, it is reach to there by walking and beautiful. I like this hotel.

The stay was fine. It is possible to enjoy the street exposition Lights in Alingsas.Be aware that its not possible to schedule a early taxi locally after a certain hour on the previous day.

Nice staff, a great little small town hotel.

Nice peaceful location and great beds for a very good nights skeep, very quiet. Helpful staff, easy parking too! Some nice places to eat and drink on the doorstep, what’s more to ask for!

The room had everything you would need including a small mini-bar and kettle for making cups of tea.  The breakfast choice was pretty good and it is very convenient for the centre of the town.

Nice hotel, excellent room in annex, very clean and good size. Breakfast was very good and they had sparkling wine (non-alcoholic) and strawberries due to midsummer. Our daughter who suffers from peanut allergy got her own nutella jar as the the at the buffé stod next to the peanut butter.
