Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. However, the room left a lot to desire. The carpet had marks all over it and when inquiring were told it was from the carpet cleaner. The bed did not have a mattress protector just a sheet to which you could see stains all over the mattress. Upon further inspection of the mattress there was food and who knows what else on the mattress itself along with brown stains from the head to the foot of the mattress.

Generally speaking the property is very good. Apprars to be safe area in the major shopping area for good food options. The building and facilities are a bit dated. Very old tv with no streaming option. Ice macine on floor broken. Shower and tub surround have gaps in caulk. There is a K Cup with Peete's ans other name brands in room. Bedding and bed are in grood shape.

Hotel is clean and fairly new, AC worked perfectly staff if friendly and helpful. One question is why the breakfast ends so early: 8am? Seriously? Most other hotels end at ~10am

Had a handicap room that needed repairs. Yes they did fix but why did a customer have to point out dirty ceiling vent in bathroom, toilet that didn't flush properly and two loose grab bars and no drain on tub. Could see the pvc pipe drain. Should have been fixed BEFORE we paid to stay. Glad the maintenance man came to fix but... should not have happened. Should have gotten some form of a refund... I think!

When we opened our room door, there was a portable electric fan running full speed. Turned out the carpet was damp. Then, the tv wouldn’t work. Ashley, the night desk clerk was wonderfu and tried her best to help us. The TV in our room was plugged in but had not yet been programmed for service. We hoped to watch Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics and couldn’t. Ashley came to our room twice to try and help us but alas she didn’t have the codes needed. So, watching even the local NBC station let alone Peacock was out. We were very disappointed and frustrated. We chose not to ask for a different room as we were tired.
Additionally the hot tube jacuzzi at the hotel pool didn’t work. Nice hotel, but obvious glitches need worked out. I’ll avoid this hotel in the future.

For starters the staff at the front desk were not friendly. She mentioned they got a new system and she was still trying to get it figured out. I can completely understand how that can be trying but do it with a smile. We got to our room at 1AM and it was 80° in the room. Turned the temperature down on the wall A/C unit and turned the fan to “on” hoping it would cool down. Woke up at 5AM and it was now 83° in the room. The wall under the unit was rotting and had peeling paint. Turned the stand alone fan on to try and help circulate the air. Tried to take a shower and there was moldy/mildew around the edges and the drain. The shower rod was falling off. To the
point the curtain would not stay closed. Let the water run for 20 minutes and the water never warmed up. Brought this up to the staff at the desk and they “would have maintenance look into it”. If they didn’t know it was a problem why was there already a fan in the room? Usually Wynhams are pretty good but this one, not impressed.

We had a great stay, staff was friendly and helpful. Room and hotel was clean. Our refrigerator wasn't cooling, but the staff took care of it right away. I will be staying here again when we come to Gillette.

Quiet, room was clean, breakfast was good. Staff at front counter was good except when my daughter checked in, they didn't have a room for her. She had booked online but the lady at the counter said they had no room, and she should have called the hotel directly. She was rather rude with my daughter so very disappointing. My daughter got a room at the hotel across the street. We had already checked in otherwise we would have gone across the street too as we had a family get together and we were inconvenienced by having to stay in different hotels.

For the money, this is the best deal out there! The staff was incredibly friendly. The room was extremely clean. The breakfast was fresh, and all the amenities were clean and available for our use. This will be our new go to hotel in Gillette.!

Upon check in the sink in the bathroom and the tub were clogged with hair. It smelled of cigarettes. No extra pillows. Screen was broke. Pool and hot tub were not working during our stay. Staff was not accommodating.

We requested an accessible room and also requested a roll in shower. My son is a quadriplegic paralyzed from the chest down and was unable to shower. Accessible is not adding a handrail. We are very disappointed in the lack of ADA accessibility.

The night before we got there I had a weird feeling to call and see if our reservation was still there and it wasn’t. I normally don’t get irritated fairly fast but I did because I called a month before to make sure it was good and it wasn’t at that time either. Then I called back and apologized for being rude. I called back as we were driving from Montana and she said it was good she fixed it well I went in to double check again and she was really rude. Then the pool was closed when there was many many many teams from different states there for softball and then we got woke up the first night with the fire alarm going off. They said not to worry it would not happen again it was an issue with their system so the next day at 4 & 6am it happened. Will
Never stay again.
Also many people from our softball team had their rooms canceled without reimbursement.

The smoke alarms went off both nights multiple times we stayed for no emergency or reason. 6/14/24 at 430am, 6/15/24 1am, 615am, & 640am. Keys would quit working multiple times a day, and happened to multiple families from our softball team.

No Ac in room. Asked for different room and they said hotel was full, even though parking lot is half empty. Asked for refund since couldn’t sleep and they said they didn’t know how to give one. Just looked at me. Only option was to sleep in hot room or eat money and leave. Bad service and bad experience for family. Wouldn’t recommend.

I was very disappointed after seeing all the positive reviews. Our check in experience was rough. We arrived 10 mins early and were very rudely told that it was not check in time yet. We got far too much information from the woman at the front desk about staff and her personal life. We were then told that the pool was down which was disappointing as that was one reason we chose this property. We then went to our room excited to try the hot tub and found it not clean. There was some kind of scum on the sides and hair in the tub. So we paid extra for something we did not feel comfortable using. Then to top it all off the fire alarm kept going off. It went off 3 times, once at 2 AM. The lock plate on the door was falling off and one of the exterior doors which should have required us to use our key card to get in was completely missing the lock!
Did not make me feel very safe! Definitely not the stay we were expecting!

Enjoyed stay although we found a piece of clothing from a previous stay. Otherwise, nice place and walking distance to maybe restaurants and fast food places.
