Served our purpose in staying one night in the lake Norman/birkdake area but a bit expensive. Rooms dated but ok. USB ports next to bed didn’t work for me. A steep $100 fee for dogs accidentally double charged but front desk staff, who were super nice, took it off when notified.

Great staff and very friendly. Property is just old with loud AC made it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was nice and facility located in a great place.

This is a disappointing Residence Inn. The room is damp from humidity. Sheets feel wet. A/C was turned off on arrival.
Kitchen cabinets were well worn.

The property is in a great location and very easy to find. The staff is friendly and breakfast was decent. The hotel exterior is in desperate need of pressure washing and maintenance. The hallways and elevator carpet/floors were very dirty and smelled bad. Our room was put together nicely, but very dirty and lacked preventative maintenance. It all presented itself as a hotel that was in need of an owner/management that cares. The door handles, doors, light fixtures, inside of toilets were very dirty. My family and I had to clean the room and spray the bedding and couch before we sat down and placed our items. I was very disappointed as this is not what I expected from Residences Inn.

Dirtiest hotel we have stayed in - the room was not clean at all - after a stay here I ended up with a respiratory infection and I truly think it was from the room we stayed in -
The breakfast was fabulous though and Ms. Cynthia the cook was so helpful and welcoming. She made our morning great! She was the only good thing about staying here.

We took a family trip..there are restaurants in close proximity and stores. All within two mins of the suites..urban air sports is in walking distance..great place for family trips..family of four fit perfect with plenty of space..very quiet and peaceful during resting hours..we were very pleased❤️ and would definitely come back to this location.

Room was gross. Ripped carpeting, kitchen cabinets falling apart, cigarette butts everywhere at the entrances. This is in a ver upscale are but the property is not being maintained. Payed top dollar and got the minimum. Breakfast was ok, not worth the money. Stay somewhere else

King suite was a great room. Bed very comfy. Hotel convenient to I77 but far enough away to be in a quiet location. Close to TONS of shopping & restaurants.

The a/c unit was loud and made the bed vibrate. (Sometimes a plus but not when you are trying to sleep.

It needs to be updated. Carpet ripped. Couch stained, cheap and uncomfortable. The closet was broken, drawers broken. Loved the bed, cleaning service once a week but didn't vacuum. Loved having a kitchen. Pool needs cleaning, grill caught on fire. Needs cleaning. Basically the place needs an overhaul.

I posted a Google review as well on the Marriott property direct. My complaint was about excessive noise from air handler in closet inside my room (locked). Mold smell when air was running, water stains on ceiling. Stop giving this room out. (Rm 224). Terrible experience @ a high price

Average hotel. Toilet was clogged and when the front desk was told she stated she would have maintenance look at it tomorrow. Had to use bathroom on first floor when having to have a bm. (We were on the 3rd floor) Had to call the next day and they came right up and fixed it. Nice outdoor firepit area. Only problem was it didn't work. Room was very nice but had to search down room cleaning cart to get more toilet paper, coffee, sugar, ect. Only clean rooms one day a week. Would have been an excellant stay if not for all the simple problems we had.

The staff here is amazing! However they allow pets and the stench is awful. I had to light candles and keep the air set low. I could hear dogs barking in the middle of the night. The people above me decided to have a party over in the morning and I had work the next day.

Good location, good service, however room was in a bit of disrepair. Toilet valves super noisy and woke everyone up at night. Thermostat did not regulate temperature, only full blast heat or “off” which was actually cooling.

Fantastic service. Comfortable bed and room with a large work desk, a full kitchen with a breakfast bar to sit at. Great water pressure in shower. Kids used pool, hot tub, and basketball court. Small store area for snacks, medicines, drinks, wine, etc. Social hour on Tuesday night with wine and dinner. Nice morning breakfast. Quiet area. Quick drive down the road to Davidson College. Birkdale Village nearby..very nice shopping and eating area. Would stay here again
