Saturday night stay in King Valley-View room.
Unexpectedly & notably quiet for a weekend night which was very welcome.
Character-filled, old-worldy ambience in decor of room. Older bathroom but suited the style & all very clean & practical. I would suggest a wall-mounted vanity mirror be included as mirror area a little dark for shaving/make-up applying.
Very comfortable bed & pillows....like sleeping on a cloud.
Room was very clean throughout with beautiful views.
Unfortunately, we weren't left any slippers with our robes which would have been handy.
The verandah partitions are incomplete & so are open to next door's & at one point in the late afternoon, a child walked past a couple of times. Wasn't a big issue but not as private as could be.
Overall, a quiet, clean, comfortable stay. The Epoch bar is lovely too with great food & service.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The unfortunate part of our trip was that we wanted to eat at their restaurant and it was closed for a private function. The lounge eating option was very good for lunch. The rooms have paper thin walls so I was awake all night with someone who was coughing all night and a very loud snorer in the adjoining room! Not really the hotels fault I guess! A bit disappointing overall!

Only the tennis court looked like it needs an update. Everything else I saw was in perfect condition.

We had a bad stay because the hotel room was stinky and not clean. We can see dust and hair on floor. Beddings were quite smelly and dusty making us unable to sleep at night, instead we cough and sneeze throughout the night. Bathroom is too small and water leaks from glass door onto the toilet floor. The hotel needs a deep clean.
Positive compliments are that front desk staff was friendly and helpful; morning breakfast is amazing.

A beautiful, luxurious hotel with wonderful staff. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted by friendly people and all staff were willing and ready to help with anything I may have needed.
I'd particularly like to compliment the lovely Marisa who looked after our business group like royalty. She would greet me every morning when I arrived for breakfast. So bright and bubbly. A ray of sunshine.
I hope I get the opportunity to return in the not too distant future!

The rooms a decorated beautifully, the property is so well maintained with plenty of great photo opportunity, the beds are very soft and felt like i was at home.
Restaurant is a little costly but food is amazing.

This is a classy joint to spend a long weekend in the Hunter Valley. Stayed multiple times and will be back. I'd stay even more if they allowed slight bigger pooches. My pup is over the 20 kg limit. :(
