Lovely property and staff willing to make the stay really enjoyable. We went to the sister hotel first in error (next door) and the difference in front desk staff was stark. We came for the F1 and the only complaint would be it is a far distance for metro lines and you have to grab a taxi or bus to get back on the island.

Property seems well used and limited maintenance done on property equipment. Front hotel staff were unable to give answer as to restaurant opening etc. restaurant wait staff were terrible and generally ignored you. Food was overpriced and underwo

Amazing hotel on the island with plenty of walking options and easy access to public transit right behind the hotel to link you to the rest of the city. Great spa and very accommodating staff, I stayed for the F1 race and they made sure to schedule around the event for me. If I had to go back to Budapest, I’d go here.

Beautiful hotel in a relaxing park. Views of the Danube and lovely foot paths along the river. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. The thermal pools are amazing, steam rooms, indoor and outdoor pool. Breakfast selection varied. This is a must visit hotel.

Professional and very friendly staff. Unfortunately the weekend musical events that went on late into the night disturbed the rest.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is stunning, quiet and peaceful but also a walkable distance the hustle and bustle. The spa is perfect to relax after miles of walking. Breakfast was lovely and a good selection each morning. Staff were all super friendly. We would happily stay here again.

This is an old school grand hotel. Had a specious room facing the Danube. Very quiet, and a lovely walk down to the city through a beautifully landscaped park. Excellent breakfast buffet and spa services onsite. Not for those seeking a party scene but perfect for us, a big if paradise in the middle if a bustling city.

The rooms had character and the hotel was well situated, a bus ride away from the city center. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful.

Very polite and helpful staff, especially at the reception desk.Did not like outdated carpets.Rooms with parquet flooring are much nicer.The outdated carpeter rooms and corridors need renovation.

this is was our vacation ever. The Thermal bach pools are simply amazing. Breakfast bufett was great every morning. We will come back one day.

Nice and calm recreation area. The Island was perfekt for jogging. The hotel with spa was rally good.

Elegant and safe - grand indeed - quiet and comfortable, in the middle of Budapest, with easy access (by car) to Buda and Pest. Friendly and mostly kind staff. Very nice breakfast buffet. Impressive spa / hot spring fed pools, sparkling-clean facilities. Amazing surroundings. Awkwardly organized, expensive parking.

The staff is very professional, polite at all time and looking for the opportunity to help. I liked the special messages welcoming me on the phone and the massage was excellent with an authentic way of delivery by Aniko.

We had wonderful experience at the Ensana Grand Margaret Island hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The room was spacious, with a view over the River Danube and a balcony facing the forest. Breakfast was excellent and varied. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed for evening meals at this time but the connecting thermal hotel has two options. The beautiful spa and gym are also in this location. Public transport is close by with links to all city attractions.

Along the river and easy access to the bus and walking not to far to the city. Clean and great spa place.

This is a charming but dated hotel which is what I expected. The staff is very friendly and Margaret Island is beautiful. Easy access to the rest of the city by the 26 bus or just walk the beautiful walkways.

Loved the spa and thermal pool although it was a bit crowded on weekends it was lovely during the week. The massages and facials and manicures were very well done. The salt cave was relaxing.over all we gave it 5 stars and would like to return again

Excellent breakfast. Very well equipped gym, nice swiming pool and saunas. Beautiful quiet place on the green island with perfect view on the city. Good value for money. Easy and cheap parking just in the front of the hotel.

This hotel is a gem hundred fifty years old and looks better than ever.The facility’s is plenty and the location couldn’t better .Add this to an outstanding breakfast what else You want.Can’t wait to get back. G.B. Venice FL.

Everything was very good except air conditioner. We were at very hot weather and air conditioner did not work which judt ruined our stay

This is a still amazing old era hotel, the contemporary decor is very well kept, everything in very good condition, my room was enormous, fantastic view, I loved it, except the air conditioning that was more like a fan, it's ok for cold months but certainly not for summer, I was told that a proper system will be installed this year. I gave five stars because as soon as a raised my query, a member of the management team gave me several options including a beautiful suit but having the same A/C issues so finally I was transferred to their sister hotel Thermal Margaret Island, the room was smaller but very modern and comfortable. Gellebert was very professional, efficient, friendly, he sorted out my problem in no time, he clearly loves his job and should be the first in line for a pay rise because he and the rest of the staff are fabulous. Thanks.
