Wonderful property, furnished well, very nicely decorated, and very comfortable with lots of space, and quite private and quiet. Close to market and shops and restaurants, highway, and beach as well. There was a mix-up with the check-in due to going through hotels.com/expedia, partly due to shortened COVID hours, but after that, communication was easy, and very prompt maid service on request.

Condo was in a great location to beach and shops. Pool was a great place to relax after the day at the beach. BBQ’s and plenty of dining space if you wanted to cook out at the pool. Condo was spacious and stylish with amazing decks to take in the stars at night or relax during the day.

Spacious and clean property. Very well stocked. We absolutely would stay here again! The office was a bit difficult to find. Other than that the office staff were very accommodating, responsive, and had great recommendations. We also enjoyed the gecko hanging out. There is a typical pest issue including wasp nests above our lanai. A minor issue. It was a lovely stay.

Much more than expected. The condo was awesome right on the golf course.

This was a perfect set up for two couples. We love being walking distance to the tennis courts, beach, pool. Nice big living room area.

We rented a luxery two-bedroom condo with full kitchen, two car garage, bbq on ground level patio. The two bedrooms are equally sized, each with a large bathroom. There is a large living space on the ground floor with kitchen, dining area and living room, all adjacent to outside patios. There is a grocery store nearby at the runabout.

Wonderful accommodations. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Grilled every night. Beach area is a cove and great for snorkeling/SUP, not body surfing.

Very spacious condo within walking distance to the beach. Very comfortable. Beds were a little too soft for us, as we prefer a firm matress. Looks like things haven't been updated in quite a while. We still very much enjoyed our stay. The grounds were beautiful and staff very friendly. We were sad that the pool was being renovated during our stay, even though they gave us the option to be shuttled down to the hotel's pool. We preferred to go to the beach instead.

The Islands at Mauna Lani well-exceeded our expectations!! We rented the Deluxe Room, 3 Bedrooms, Garden View (P1). The condo was spacious with 3 large bedrooms (2 with balconies), 3 full bathrooms, 1 powder room, large kitchen, beautiful living room and dining room as well as a laundry room and garage. Our condo (P1) was beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen included a full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, double-oven, dishwasher and toaster. The condo was perfect for a family of 5 or more, and the facilities were very well maintained as clean. The pool was centrally located and also well maintained, although the waterfall was closed. There are shops, a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. The resort is located about 30 minutes from the Kona airport which was convenient. The resort also included a beautiful golf course and spa. One downside was that there was no daily cleaning service included in our package which would have been nice. Overall, we had an excellent experience! The condo we rented (P1) was a mini-mansion in paradise! I would highly recommend the Islands at Mauna Lani. We would definitely go back!

We found the townhouse to be in a large resort community shared by other gated communities and a hotel, so large that almost everything required driving or the free shuttle service. On the other hand, it was a good location for day trips up the coast, over to Hilo or down to Kona. Hint: There is an adequate grocery store in the resort and a well equipped kitchen, but we found Costco just south of the airport to be a good option for pre-cooked easy to prepare meals without having to buy all of the cooking essentials.

There is daily cleaning service which is outstanding, there is a small pool available. It needs to be stressed that the check in is located quite distant from the actual residences and by a management company that has a completely different name. It would be very helpful if this could be stressed in an email before arrival as we went in circles trying to find where to get our keys. The residences have garages, a huge plus. There is normal home wear and tear on the living room carpets and the couches could use some updating. Well stocked instruments in the kitchen, a small but noticeable ant problem near the garbage disposal which can be expected in that climate and did not interfere with our stay at all but you should be conscious of it with your food and not leave it out or throw away food in a place they can get to. Washing machine a huge plus. Bed and linen comfort is average. The location is quite isolated with a great small commercial area walking distance away that includes a steakhouse, another restaurant and a grocery store. You cannot beat the size and value you get for the price though. Much more comfortable than a hotel with plenty of room for large group/family. Extremely quite and in a secure gated community.

Rent a 3 ensuite bedroom villa, perfect for 3 couples.It is spacious enough, well equipped & clean. We checked in very late around 9:00pm to realise the front desk located at the other end of villa entrance.Fortunately, managed to get hold of access gate code before the office closes at 10:00pm. Stay was generally comfortable except the last day we ran into tap water shortage, which didnt bother us much as we were about to leave.There is free shuttle service between villa, golf course & other Lani facilities.

Very beautiful resort. The house we booked is really big and close to the private beach and The Shops (Shopping Plaza). However, the private beach is not very large and because of there are not many restaurants at The Shops, we need to wait for a long time for dinner on Sunday. Overall, this resort is great and the staff also very polite and helpful.

Mauna Lani resort area is awesome. Square footage of unit is great. Needs a good cleaning top to bottom. We experienced ants in the kitchen and all 3 bathrooms our entire stay.

Great spacious place, that is located in the Mauna Lani Resort. Pictures did not do justice on how nice and open the condo/house is. The area and surrounding condos/houses is very peaceful and quiet. Great for a family stay. The staff were very friendly and so was the housekeeping. One downside was that the wifi at our place wasn't working, but out in paradise you need distractions. Although it would have been nice to have wifi, because it was hard getting signal with our phones. Overall great experience and place to stay! We would totally come back!

Very comfortable and clean property. Access to nice pool and beautiful beach club. Daily housekeeping was a plus when there are 4 adults and a kid in the rental unit. On-property restaurants are limited but grocery store is big and well-equipped. Allowed us to eat all breakfasts at home.

We stayed in a two bedroom condo with another couple. Both bedrooms were spacious with huge en-suite bathrooms and private lanais. This particular unit was well appointed and decorated and we felt right at home during our five night stay. The Islands are very close to the Shops at Mauna Lani. We had access to the Beach Club a short drive away. I would definitely return.

Our stay at the Islands of Mauna Lani was simply wonderful! I can't really say enough great things about our experience there. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and our condo was stocked with everything we needed and more. They really go out of their way to make sure that your stay is ideal. For example, their check out time is normally 10:00 AM, but when we told them that our flight out didn't leave until 4:00 PM, they accommodated us with a late check out time of 1:30 PM. The resort is gated, so we felt very safe and secure throughout our stay. Each unit has it's own garage, as far as I could tell, so you don't have to worry about your rental car getting scratched up while you're parked. There is also a private recreation center with a pool, whirlpool and grilling facilities. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, but we also had a very fully stocked kitchen and propane grill available to cook our own meals. The Foodland grocery store at the resort is reasonably priced (by Hawaii standards), but be sure to register for their Maika'i card, which will save you about 33%. By the way, the staff at Foodland is also exceptionally friendly. We had planned to snorkel at numerous beaches during our trip, but discovered that the semi-private beach at this resort was so perfect, there was really no need to go elsewhere. If you visit there, you'll understand what I mean. All things considered, I can't imagine finding a better place to stay.

The condo units are spacious and well-equipped with a great kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. Comfortable beds for four. Location is a bit isolated within the Mauna Lani resort but close to everything. Not affiliated with the hotels on the property!

Really great, large space with private balconies and lani for a two-story, two full bedroom condo. The matress in the master really needed to be replaced, but we turned in around and made do with backs for a couple days. We will let them know. It really was a spacious and inviting place. We made a wonderful Thanksgiving meal in the large kitchen, spread out all over the living room, and had plenty of space in both bedrooms. The full laundry room was handy too. We even had a wild hen turkey come on to the lani on Thanksgiving!

My family and I had a grat time at the Mauni Lani Islands! The condo was well appointed and a lot of extra's that made us feel at home.

We really enjoyed our townhouse location. The two bedroom had plenty of room for us and our teenage son. The pool area was close by with a great pool and hot tub. It is about 20 to 30 minutes north of Kona. Daily maid service with a full kitchen and laundry was a nice convenience. Lots of birds and nice landscaping outside too.

Very nice place. Other condos in the Mauna Lani resport are built with a higher density of units than the islands. You don't feel like you are cheek-to-jowl with your neighbors. Service was very nice. Housekeeping could have been a little more attentive. For example they never ran or emptied our dishwasher. Other than that a very pleasant experience. Very warm reception upon check-in.
